Result - is working smoothly
ROM - i think rom dose not matter about this app...
am tested on stock 2.3.4
you're saying if you disable this sensor, the rom becomes "smoother"?
correct me if im wrong, but isnt the proximity sensor responsible for turning the display off while having a phone call?
so if you disable this sensor, the display wont turn off, eating up battery and if youre unlucky youre pressing some soft-buttons onscreen with your ear while talking.

just flashed with it its hell lot difficult to touch wirh two fingers for doing any operation wait for andy's AOSP ICS
Good to see but color banding is still there..
color banding is caused by our display hardware, we never can fix that but a really super
developer has knowledge about to code some color interpolation so pixels gets combined
something.
BTW:
non working sdcard is possibly caused by wrong vold lib or a vfstab file in /etc, try to replace it with a file from gingerbread cm7 may work.

thats ok so, its a onscreen game: you need to find out at first where is your finger, then you have to find the ring
and at last - try to catch the ring and let it do something useful^^ ... currently THATs some difficult for Android

I think that this is only if your in tablet mode. This doesn't just turn off the lights, it completely disables the hardware buttons. The original post for this hack was to disable buttons so that the soft menu was not duplicated by hardware buttons.
This is great for people who use the Note in tablet mode. Since I use the phone in phone mode, I just want to turn the lights off but still use the buttons.
Thanks to the op for the info.

Try this:
Go to settings-display-custom backlight settings-edit other levels-find to the far right buttons- the first 2 lines will have a default level value of 255, change them to 0 (zero). Must also have Auto-Brightness to on as well. Should not have backlight buttons on until power off/on or reboot. If you do they will come on briefly then go out.
Sorry wrong quote#, my eyes are a little tired today!

Shouldn't do that if you change both values in the last row, both should have been changed from 255 to zero(0). I'll recheck my settings, but my lights stay off until I reboot/power on my phone.
Directions added above to my original post. This is a 2 part equation must use auto-brightness first then follow rest of directions.

As the name explains it all, the App Keyboard Fix is an Application for Fixing the Hardware Keyboard Lights.
We have a lot of Custom Roms for our Device but we have an problem to turn on the Hardware LED's [Esp seen in mimmi ]
So this is the right place where u can get it fixed :victory:+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I already know D4 has made an awesome app for us for kfix :good:+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++But I have tried to make this app to use the least memory
The LED lights turn on when u slide out the keyboard n turns off when you slide in. So this will definitely give us a better Battery life
I hope you guys like it also this is just an initial release.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Download Link++ KeyBoard Fix v1.1.apk

very good brother. Solution to My harware Keyboard because its so dumb. Its light goes on when daylight and doesn't turn it on when nighttime.

May I sugest a small change?
Within OrientationEvent you call a new LightsController all the time.
However Creating the LightsController Instance once should be sufficent and also reduce the Object Creation and GC Events to trash those objects again.
If you hold one LightController and use the appropriate (static!) functions there is no need to instantiate a new object on each call thus reducing overhead.

Eh?...you a news writer now...awesome... :good:
Works :good:
But force closes when rebooting, should it be installed like a normal app or a system app?
Mirror your Phone Screen to your Tv?

Work for my Xperia Pro India
Wow........
This is awesome; It works for my Xperia Pro in India. I got my location information perfect.
Just installed myXperia. But I got while opening after activation myXperia force close. Is I have to put in system/app?
Thank you Very much Till
Great Work.
Works on my Ray...
I have a little suggestion for Sony Devs.. What if they will add support to grant Root Access to this app so that in case you lose your device and not DATA activated ( we don't always activate our DATA as it cost money), a GSM/3G signal from a telco provider will connect/trigger your device automatically to turn on GPS and/or DATA... I think you can understand what I wanted to say guys...
Just a suggestion which is I think very useful if implemented..

Your suggestion is ...
Telling to Sony that it should use root?
It is like Sony telling at its users... Void your phones guarantee.

I think it's good to move to system, cause it's easy to remove the memory card
Successfully Themed it So It's Holo, rather than Holo.Light. It also follows the Background Wallpaper too.
Locate to /res/values/style.xml
Delete Any .Light Extension
Eg.
Theme.DeviceDefault.Light
to
Theme.DeviceDefault
#Suggest Put in Op
