Hello, have anyone tried this mode on 8.9?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1265397
Is it working on 8.9 or not? Can someone remake thit mode for 8.9?
----------------
Well i found out that it isn't working on 8.9 ICS AOKP, but it may be working on HC?
no need for it!
if you are running honeycomb its easy to hide navbar. use hide bar
http://ppareit.github.com/HideBar/
on ICS things get a little more complicated.
you can use gesture control to hide it:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1535740
or you can install the aokp rom (milstone 5) which has this feature built in!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538966
That is great, i didin!t know that AOKP has this feature

I've tried looking around but I could not find a solution to this. Is there anyway to remove quick toggles at the top of the notifications but allow for them to be expanded with use of the top right button like stock jelly bean?
Ooops.....removed
Not sure how to remove them to work like stock. You could use any of the AOSP roms already available.
Hello, so recently I bought my new Android phone, Gigabyte Gsmart Aku A1, which is really great, MTK 6598 runs smooth as butter, I've already rooted it, but I can't find on settings how do I change the Lockscreen Shortcuts (Running 4.2.1 JB) and I also can't find anything on Settings on how to change the Notification toggle shade, because I want stuff to be remove and added. I can't find anything on settings. Maybe you can give me SystemUI which as that kind of settings?
Bump?

For Lockscreen Shortcuts, I think when you press the power button to wake up the screen, just swipe the screen from left to right, and you should be able to add or remove shortcuts.
I figured in that you can't change them at all anymore, after the 4.2 Update which brings widgets.

install Xposed installer and Gravity box, you can edit everything, but it's a little complicated to enable, first you have to install xposed instaler, then install framework in xposed (restart after), then install but do not open gravity box, and enabe module in xposed, then restart the phone again, and edit the hell of your lockscreen
The buttons on my fascinate broke, So I was forced to add Virtual Buttons/ Soft-Keys o the prop.txt. But now I want to make the soft keys transparent like on the Moto X. Does anyone know how to do so. (Running CM 10.1 on Verizon Samsung Fascinate)
I attached a screen shot so you can see.

I believe you need a ROM that allows for transparency adjustment. cm10.1 builds don't have that setting, it'd be pretty difficult to get it working. switch to helly bean. helly bean is based off of cm10.1 so it's stable but it's really customizable, and navigation bar is toggled in system settings, not through build.prop so it's easy
also, as far as i understand, in that rom anyway, transparency goes for both the status bar and nav bar. if you're okay with transparent status bar (i think it looks cool) then you can change transparency settings in the same place.
but motorola's customization as you said, only makes the soft key background transparent. if you only want that, i'm not too sure how to help you.
@LGC_Gamma
Unless you run xposed i don't think you can.
+1 for a ROM with built in navbar soft keys.
They have adjustable transparency levels
A 2nd choice would be ultimate dynamic navbar
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mrbimc.udn.lite
I know it has it too.
Or "gmd auto hide soft keys"
Can't remember if this did or not,, less functional to me,, so i uninstalled fairly quickly
.
Thanks for that, I'll definitely check out both of them.

Hello.
I just installed KitKat from http://forum.xda-developers.com/oma...rom-omate-truesmart-ironman-firmware-t2998434 and it looks like most apps launch in fullscreen mode and I have trouble getting the status bar back anywhere except from the default launcher.
Is there a way to disable this "fullscreen by default" setting anywhere?

No, this is changed in the ROM. We do not know how it is done, the Umeox/MediaTek changes are hidden.
The change is different from 4.2, so SwipeStatusBar very seldom work.
The workaround is rooting, Xposed, GravityBox and enabling Expanded Desktop.
Permanent status bar
I finally have a working PoC for permanently enabling the status bar in every app, and will try to build an Xposed module to control the visibility of the status bar in these smart watches. I'll be back
Edit:
I'm back.
Xposed module to enable the status bar in (most) launchers:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/truesmart-status-bar-custom-launchers-t3063624
(N.B! Only tested on a 4.4 ROM)
Is there any possibility to get the Android Pie navigational bar on rooted One UI?
There is a Samsung Theme, but it includes a recent s button, which is not nice to have at all.
Having the same or similar functionality would be super cool.
Also,
How do I change the look of my navbar?
I want to change it to a pixel looking navbar with the animations,
so I tested this Magisk Module; Pix3lify, but it bricked my phone.
Do you have any other options?
