[Q] How do I change lockscreen shortcuts - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, so recently I bought my new Android phone, Gigabyte Gsmart Aku A1, which is really great, MTK 6598 runs smooth as butter, I've already rooted it, but I can't find on settings how do I change the Lockscreen Shortcuts (Running 4.2.1 JB) and I also can't find anything on Settings on how to change the Notification toggle shade, because I want stuff to be remove and added. I can't find anything on settings. Maybe you can give me SystemUI which as that kind of settings?

For Lockscreen Shortcuts, I think when you press the power button to wake up the screen, just swipe the screen from left to right, and you should be able to add or remove shortcuts.

I figured in that you can't change them at all anymore, after the 4.2 Update which brings widgets.

install Xposed installer and Gravity box, you can edit everything, but it's a little complicated to enable, first you have to install xposed instaler, then install framework in xposed (restart after), then install but do not open gravity box, and enabe module in xposed, then restart the phone again, and edit the hell of your lockscreen

[REQ] Blackout/Transparent or Remove Notification Panel Clock/Lockscreen

I'm looking for help to either blackout, make transparent or remove the notification panel clock (drop down clock) and the lockscreen clock. I have already tired xblast tools and wanam xposed. Niether one gave me the desired results. I read that these can be modified in the systemui.apk, however I'm on a mac so the necessary tools aren't really available, that I am aware of. Anyways any input regarding a workaround or a solution would be much appreciated. Thanks
Update: I was able to take care of the notification panel clock via Wanam. Still looking for a solution for the lockscreen though.
For the lock screen clock.
Under locks sreen settings turn on multiple widgets.
Then you can press and hold on the clock to remove it.
And also can add whatever widget you want in its place.

Thanks, great workaround.

xposed framework+ g2 xposed from googleplay
Yep it is possible!
Install xposed framework and search for xstana. Xstana allows you to change the theme of navigation bar buttons.
Gravity box under xposed framework will do the job too. The phone needs to be rooted though.

[Q] Disable all apps fullscreen in kitkat?

Hello.
I just installed KitKat from http://forum.xda-developers.com/oma...rom-omate-truesmart-ironman-firmware-t2998434 and it looks like most apps launch in fullscreen mode and I have trouble getting the status bar back anywhere except from the default launcher.
Is there a way to disable this "fullscreen by default" setting anywhere?

No, this is changed in the ROM. We do not know how it is done, the Umeox/MediaTek changes are hidden.
The change is different from 4.2, so SwipeStatusBar very seldom work.
The workaround is rooting, Xposed, GravityBox and enabling Expanded Desktop.
Permanent status bar
I finally have a working PoC for permanently enabling the status bar in every app, and will try to build an Xposed module to control the visibility of the status bar in these smart watches. I'll be back
Edit:
I'm back.
Xposed module to enable the status bar in (most) launchers:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/truesmart-status-bar-custom-launchers-t3063624
(N.B! Only tested on a 4.4 ROM)

Replacement for Notification Bar ?

The notification bar is horrible, i like the stock android one where i can turn off wifi/bluetooth etc - i downloaded an app that tries to emulate these things but its not the real deal.
I already use a custom launcher -how can i replace the notification bar ?

I think root with xposed framework will do. But I dont touch that, because I always semibricked phones with it.
Personally, I only miss the brightness in there. Mine is clean showing only the clock and my push notifications. The stock multitasking feature is full of the Features you want in the notification bar and also customizable. I like the idea as the multitask switching itself on the most roms is very "empty". Just your windows and thats it. In EUI its like a "quickbar"

Quick settings grid change on LineageOS

In ROMs like Crdroid, RR etc there are options to change the QS grid from the 3x3 to 4x3 and so on... Is there any app that can do this? I miss that feature from those roms..
dude i accidentally found your question , i don't have the same phone as you but i just found one solution only and it's gravity box
requires root and xposed framework installed , and may be totally incompatible with your phone , but if u know how to deal with a softbrick and have the requirements then gravity box has a lot more to offer than quicktiles grid arrangements
also if your phone doesn't boot at first , try again some times , then give up
