Mouse for ICS webtop - Motorola Droid RAZR

Hey everybody just wondering how to use computer mouse instead of the razr screen when using webtop .any suggestions on what i need to provide?

You have to get a dock that has a usb port on it in order to use a mouse or get a bluetooth mouse.

Do you have any links?

Use any usb hub with power and connect to phone via otg cable.
And I use nebtop app to enable webtop option.

You don't need nebtop in ICS webtop

[Q] Does Atrix have USB Host support?

Saw a new app to tether your Canon camera to your phone instead of a computer.. Gives you all the controls like when you tether to your PC, but on the phone, still in beta, and only tested on xoom and sgs2.. but i saw that the phone needs USB host support for it to work.
Is this something the Atrix can have with the roms now?
This would be sweet!
yes. in order to use USB host you just need to provide 5V DC to the device which the Atrix's usb port doesnt do. you will need to use a powered USB hub. check out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=997187
drivers will probably be an issue though

That does sound sweet Shriva! What's the name of the app and if it was not in the general app market where was it?
Thanks,
Bill
Atrix 4d and 2 support USB host mode when you use OTG cable and provide power (you can use mouse, keybaord storage etc.).
But it does not support Androi API support for USB host mode. Which means Apps won't detect any device thus DSLR camera control apps don't work. Maybe with update to ICS it will be supported.

[Q] Using SGSII As car PC

Hi Everyone!
I am currently planning on how i could use the SGS2 as a car pc.
Right now i already have a car pc running on my car with touchscreen monitor and everything.
While using vnc to connect to my cel and display it's video signal and touch controls works,it's very slow and unpractical in most cases.
I was wondering if i could find a way to connect the tv out directly to the monitor and have touchscreen through the USB host functionality (my lcd monitor has usb for touch with general drivers)
Does anybody know if this could work or not?
My idea is to get a MHL To VGA adapter (already found) which also has a usb port where i can insert the USB of the touchscreen and it should react as a usb mouse.
I'm not entirely sure if it will need drivers or not though.
Any idea? Thanks!
Nevermind.

Is it possible to use a usb device without a dock using the usb cord that comes with the tf201?
Nope, but you can get one of these.

Broken screen, how to dump

just managed to broke my screen
Any advice how to dump my android system by USB if it wasn't rooted, and as far I remember never USB debugging mode was switched on?
Get a USB OTG cable, and a wireless mouse or mouse/keyboard combo. Now you can use the mouse as if it was your finger. No need for anything else like USB debugging or other settings to be enabled.
