Looking for games that have gamepad support that work with TF300. I use a logitech wireless f710 gamepad. Will update the list as people contribute (hopefully).
1. GTA III
2. Riptide GP THD
3. ShadowGun THD
4. SNESoid
5. N64oid
6. GenPlusDroid
7. Gameboid
8. PSX4Droid
9. Sonic 4 Episode 2
10. Sonic CD
11. Soulcraft THD
12. Gloomy Dungeon 3D
13. Renaissance Blood THD
I can confirm that both N64oid and SNESoid work fine with the PS3 controller and allow for button rebinding so should be fine with any controller.
GenPlusDroid also works fine with the same UI settings as SNESoid.
Gameboid using a wiimote works great.

If you have PS3 controller and sixaxis controller app you can pretty much play any touch game that has a virtual analog stick and several buttons (e.g. Galaxy on Fire 2) using the touch emulation option.
Just enter the desire game and take a screenshot of the controls. Then go to the sixaxis controller app, tap on the three little squares on the top right, enter preferences. In preferences go into Touch Emulation>Edit Touch Profiles. Double tap the screen for the menu, select Change Background, look for the screenshot you just took of your game controls. Then double tap the screen once again and start adding buttons with the Add Button menu. Just drag and drop wherever you want. If the game has an virtual analog joystick just use the ANALOG_LEFT button and set it on top of it. There you have play almost any game with your PS3 controller. Get creative....
And remember to save your profiles with the name of each respective games. You can change controller profiles right under the Pair Controller button in the Sixaxis Controller app. Happy gaming yall!!!!!!!

Yes you can. You need either a USB adapter for tab only or the dock to connect the controller
How do you do it just on the tablet without dock?

I tried messing around with that......does it require a root? Cause I be having no luck.
In other news:
I tried out some of the Sonic games. The new Sonic 4 Episode 2 THD is good to go for controller use (at least on the lite version it is). Unfortunatley Episode 1 is just a mess. Kind of work, kind of doesn't. Sonic CD works too.

Yes, Sixaxis Controller app requires root. Have you tried looking in the tablet's settings>Language & Input> there under Keyboard & Input Methods you should see the controller listed, enter the setting of the controller and try looking for touch emulation there.

I'm not rooted. Don't see myself rooting anytime soon. Perhaps down the line.
I'm familiar with the sixaxis app, I played around with it on my Nook Color before. Didn't know about the touch emulation at the time.
Just configured a profile for touch emulation for SoulCraft works great. Although I'm not too thrilled about the game, waiting for Dark Kingdom.

I haven't tried many Emulators, but I've tried FPSE, Mupen64Plus, and N64oid. FPSE is the only one that does not recognize the keyboard (or any controller plugged into it) as an input device with the latest update of FPSE. It worked before the January patches though, so I'm sure it's just a bug in the coding.
The sixaxis controller has worked great for me. It even works through the tablet to move around add navigate.

Double check that you're using the Default US keyboard, and not the ASUS one. It never worked for me if I had it set on the ASUS keyboard when using the dock.
I don't know about the standard Transformer, but the Prime can map the to the dock on FPSE, you just have to go to menu setting map H/W buttons and do each one individually
GTA III can use the dock without any mods. Arrow keys to move, space to jump.
as for the other controls, no idea lol, i just know i can walk and drive with the arrow keys
So are there any games that can use a mouse and WASD? I found out, to my dismay, that Minecraft and Duke Nukem don't support mouse/keyboard. Kind of ****ty....
There's a plugin for the USB/BT JoyCenter app that can emulate screen presses via keyboard/gamepad. I haven't tested it out yet but it might prove useful in this situation.
Well, riptide can customize keys so that could work. I personally use arrow keys.
GTA 3 uses the keyboard, but not sure if its specifically WASD

Hey just saw your post and thought I'd mention the one I've been using because I use them pretty often. I was a big nesoid fan until I recently found NES EMU on the Market. I can't think of the guys name off hand but he also has one for Sega, neo geo, colleco, and some others I'm forgetting. Anyway they are extremely well made and compatible with Bluetooth controllers so I definitely recommend them. I'm not sure about using an Xbox controller, but I know you can use a ps3 controller with the app called Sixaxis Controller by Dancing Pixel Studios. I set up touch profiles for MC3, Shadowgun, and Gta 3, and it's almost like having a portable console! I played through and beat MC3 with my ps3 controller and the controls are almost flawless. I'd also recommend fpse for PlayStation games and n64oid for Nintendo 64 games.
Awesome man thanks, can you load and save games?

Hey sorry it took so long but yes you can save and load games. You can even set it to auto-save and you can access it all with a ps3 controller if you're using one. I'm impressed with the overall setup on all of his emulators. Hope it works out for ya man cause they are definitely my new favorites. I've also been messing around with the touch profiles in the Sixaxis Controller app, and if you have a ps3 controller hooked up you have to try Modern Combat 3 with it. I think it's a great game and nothing beats playing it with a ps3 controller because it's just like playing on a console! Let me know if ya need help setting up the touch profiles cause I can send ya the one I made. I've got all of the controls set up just like it's a ps3 first person shooter!

You can use a wiimote with most emulators using the wiimote app. I'm not sure how far they've come with the wiimote app though because I haven't used it for games in awhile. I have a windshield mount for my phone in my car so it's basically my car stereo, and I actually prefer using the wiimote as a remote because it's a lot easier to use when your driving. Other than that though I just use my dualshock 3 as my controller for my games because it works great most games and emulators.

From what I've read it has to be a sixaxis or a dualshock 3 but I'm not 100% sure. I've never tried anything other than my dualshock 3 so I don't know if an aftermarket one will work or not. I hit up craigslist and found an official one for pretty cheap.

You need to get the app called Sixaxis Controller by Dancing Pixel Studios on the Market first. Then you have to follow their instructions to pair the controller to the touchpad. It's pretty easy and you only have to do it once, but you need the Sixaxis Pairing Tool for your pc. Plug the controller into your pc with it's usb cable and then run the pairing tool on your pc. On your Touchpad the Sixaxis Controller app will show you the Bluetooth address of your Touchpad at the bottom. Enter that address into the pairing tool on your pc so the controller knows what bluetooth address to pair with. Then hit start in the Sixaxis Controller app and it will connect to your ps3 controller and the light on the controller should change to number 1. From then on anytime you want to connect it to your Touchpad press the ps button on your controller then just open Sixaxis and hit start and it'll connect. If you want to use it with your ps3 again you just need to plug it in with the usb cable to the ps3 and it will re-sync to it. Hope this helps

Is this a real question? Yes you need to buy the Sixaxis controller app to use Sixaxis controller mappings. Didn't think I needed to do this but here are the step by step instructions.
1 - BUY SIXAXIS APP

I figured it out. See I thought I could just use this with it being just USB but I guess u have to use it as Bluetooth. Still tweaking it though. Wish they would just support game pad control anyways. It would be easier since the prime already supports ps3 with USB and Bluetooth

Thanks! I'll try this out tonight. I have MC3 and Sixaxis, and a controller is really the only way to play that game with a 10" screen.
I am pretty happy with my MC3 map on Sixaxis, but it's definitely not perfect, so I'm always tweaking things around. Can't wait to see your approach, and try your profile.
Question, which controller setup should we use for your MC3 map? The in-game controller settings offer three different setups: virtual joystick, something else, and something else. Which should we use with your controller map?
Thanks again!

This.
Also pretty sure you can just use an OTG cable and use the controller perfectly fine for free without any apps. Not 100% on that but I know that ever since Ice Cream Sandwich I believe they implemented native support for controllers. Dualshock 3/Sixaxis controller being one of them.
Highly recommended, it works perfect for every emulator I play.
PS3 controller is best you only need sixsxis app if you want to play wireless and you have to be rooted to use wireless. If you use the cable it works as native controller.
The Moga is pretty solid. I like it.

Sixaxis is one of the best options as most others have said. If you have the PS3 controller, I would go this route.
I have the Moga controller and it doesn't work well with all emulators for me. With Gameloft games its great, but it can be laggy at times.
Another option is using a Wii Classic Controller Pro along with the Wiimote Controller app in the market. The app is free (the one by C.C.P [email protected]) and works great.
For now the PS3 with SIX axis is the best but in a few months this looks promising http://www.phonejoy.us/

So the ps3 controller with the sixaxis app with work for all games? I have the Moga controller and it works just for a select amount of games that provides Moga compatibility and emulators. If someone can confirm that the sixaxis will work for all games, I willbsell this Moga to the highest bidder on Ebay.
The app has the ability to make custom maps via a screen shot so I suppose yes it would work on all games
