So I've been trying to get back to stock from ICS and I flashed the stock rooted rom and the boot image, but now I can't get into recovery and the phone keeps rebooting anytime I try to do anything with it.
Any help?
Thanks.

I can't get into the internal memory and I don't see anything call ph file with I look with a memory card reader.
If your on ics firmware you need to flash the sd card fix for gb. As far as reboots haven't seen that going back to gb usually other way around. Are you s-off ? Just s-off , much easier to go back and forth.

I can't get into recovery to flash anything as it keeps rebooting when I try to get into recovery.
Have you tried doing a battery pull sthen trying to do the Power + Vol Down? You likely have fastboot checked still.

Pull your SD card out and either put it into another phone you can access or a card reader. Delete the PH98IMG.zip file. Put it back into your phone and it will most likely allow you to boot into Recovery.
Good luck!

Flashed nils bgs last night, flashed dsb kernel, then set up, de bloated, etc. Went to do a restart and ended up in a bootloop. PH98IMG for the kernel is still on the root of the sd card, so it keeps trying to update it. When I choose no to the update, it just restarts and continues the boot loop. How can I get back into recovery to attempt to fix this issue?

Can you take the sd card out then boot into recovery then put it back in to flash a backup?

If I were to take it out, could I put it into my incredible, remove the PH98IMG, then put it back in? Didn't think of that until you mentioned removing it.
EDIT: Why yes I can!

So I followed all the instructions for loading the latest leak. Even flashed it twice, now I am having some serious problems. I can't keep data for more than a few minutes after I reboot. It will show 4G then just go away. Says I have network but it just won't connect. Also seems to be burning through the battery. Oh yeah, it did not see my sim card after the first install when it was doing the first boot up
Any ideas what is going on?????

While your unrooted and stock on the leaked ruu. In hboot not recovery do a factory reset.

thats right still lockked factory
Will do a reboot now
Thanks for the super fast reply!!!
Chris
OK, silly question but do I need to delete the leak off my SD card?? it seems to want to try and reinstall the leak everytime I go in to hboot
Chris
Yeah delete it. As a rule of thumb delete or rename as soon as u finish a update like that.

Worked like a champ!!! Had to go and delete the rom just like you said then did a factory reboot then all seems well!!
Thank you so much

I would just keep the leaked RUU on the card and rename it to something so it won't try to reload it every time you reboot. That way, if something happens and you need to nuke the whole system, the file is already there.
kept the rename on my desktop. can drop it onto the SD quick if needed, thanks for the heads up

I always keep them named properly and just put them in a folder labeled waht they are. When I need to flash I just copy it to the root of the sd card.

the file i flashed was supposed to be safe. seemed like a normal wipe script. but now i lost my recovery. phone just reboots into boot loader. i have the cdma hboot 1.3 s-off (still says that) and my computer dislikes adb for some reason.
Flash a recovery

trying to find one.. been a while since ive done this. adb does not want to work on my computer
Exact same thing happened to me. What fixed it for me: Download twrp 2.2.0 from their website. Since adb is acting up, use the pg..zip one that flashes from fastboot. Copy to root of sd card and boot phone into fastboot. The directions are on their website in more detail.

After the ruu do a factory reset from hboot before the phone first boot.

No, you're not alone. Also on the new firmware running a post-RUU ROM. Also experiencing the need to manually remount sdcard2 after reboot. I suppose I will try all these things before I flash another ROM. Not worth the aggravation now.
Sent into the innertubes from my Arnova 10 G2.
This is not caused by the new ruu , I'm still on the old firmware and I get this problem all the time . I just dirty flash the Rom and it puts a bandaid on the problem .

Did you do the factory reset from hboot afterwards as Kratz17 suggested after redoing the RUU?
EDIT - Tried that myself but problem persists.
I have a ATT sgh-1717 samsung note with Android 4.0 on it. I tried to root it this morning using Odin3 and pda.tar. It passed but I am unable to put on the next file Superuser 3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip. It just goes to a black screen with samsung logo. If I hold down the volume up and down at the same time as the power button I am able to go into Clockwork mode. I can not reboot my phone. What can I do at this point? Is there a way to copy the zip file to the sd card on my phone? Any suggestion is greatly appreciated! I have been reading all day and am quite frustrated at this point. Of course my schedule is on my phone....Thank you so much.

You can easily get one I'm sure. Slow down.

You. are right! I don't understand. I followed a guide and got stuck, now I am trying to get some help. I just wan to get my phone up and running. Please point me in the right direction.
I found the easiest way for me was to download custom Rom to sd.move it to external.odin cwm then flash twrp.reboot to recovery n wipe all caches.system.internal.not external.then install ur custom Rom.reboot system n let Rom settle.most roms already have the rooted files.if ur planning to stay stock.there's plenty of present roms for that.n make sure all the devs get their thx
