YOU PROBABLY DON'T WANT THIS...DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!
This is just what I want, not necessarily what you want http://www.mediafire.com/?tstgikwhfezj6ph
This Rom will mostly be unsupported and unmaintained.
Flash at your OWN RISK.
What it is:
Stock slide rom.
added busybox
added netcat (busybox nc isn't good enough for me)
added bash
added htop
removed link toolbox->df (prefer the one in busybox)
removed link toolbox->rm (prefer the one in busybox)
changed the default animated boot ADVERTISEMENT and jingle
pngcrushed and zipaligned apks (with the execption of one) to save some space
Kangs:
what isn't.
maybe a few more little changes I forgot.
changes:
from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1:
added a2sd (from eugene373's smr5r1. breaks boot animation)
added default themes back.
from 1.0.1 to 1.0.2
added e2fsck
mySlide-1.0.0-signed
mySlide-1.0.1-signed

Not sure why you say that (in those words), but this does look decent!
Also, noob question, but are the stock ROMs (apps included) not zipaligned by default?
Yup they were already zipaligned. At least the ones I just checked
Honesty I didn't even look first. The crush actually takes off about 10Mb though.
yo dumfuq quick question... what exactly is required in editing a kernel to allow for overclocking and undervolting?

Not exactly sure if this is what your asking but basically...
You need the kernel source code to edit (the legend kernel source has the espresso board files),
A handy dandy text editor (like vim),
a cross-compiler (There is one under prebuilt/linux-x86/toolchain in an AOSP or cyanogenmod build environment),
and a linux environment (cygwin might work not really sure).
1. download source
2. unpack source
3. edit source
4. set environmental variables
4. compile source
5. make a boot.img or an update.zip
Obviously that's incredibly simplified, but hopefully you get the idea.
Ok quick question to the maker of this rom... How can i add the themes back to this rom? I want to put the themes back but i dont kno which folder to put them in. Also which folder is where i can change the boot animation you have installed to stock? Thanks
this actually seems like exactly what i want. My only question is does it support a2sd. if so.. i have a new rom

good question. a2sd is a plus
you don't put them in anywhere. you can download and install them. there's a thread already with a small pack of themes to download and install. You install like any other APK. Search this forum section for them.

The PNG crush killed the stock themes. If you want them back you can either boot to recovery and push the original ones to /system/app/ or just flash this...themes-signed.zip. That is just an update.zip that will copy the original themes back to your phone.

Nope, no a2sd.
any plans to add a2sd? I mean seriously... this would be PERFECT for my needs if it only had a2sd. I'm happy with a stock rom... i just want a2sd.

Nope. Currently I don't use a2sd, or this rom really. I made this just for an optimized stock rom to bounce back to when needed. Currently I'm running a customized version of eugene's cm6 as my daily driver.
in your experience.. how hard would it be for a novice to add a2dp to this? I did a quick google and found about 3 good pages of data.. but it seems pretty complicated (packing and repacking boot.img looks to be pretty intense on a windows machine without any experience from what i can tell). Do you think i should attempt this? LOL.

Not that I don't believe you have installed this ROM and not that I don't have any experience flashing, but how did you flash a .rar file? CWM will flash .zip files but not .rar.
EDIT: ok so you double compressed the file, not really needed....

Good job BMW-BOY, the ROM boots and allows access to the Market. Strangely it isn't as fast as the stock ROM. I didn't take any measurements but sense panels don't scroll as smoothly and apps don't open as quickly.
For a V0.01 great work!
Russ741
Can i have a stock config ,fresh from the device?
Code:
adb pull /proc/config.gz
And bmw-boy,this rom is running stock kernel?
@BMW
i just wanted to let ya know bro. But nothing you have stated in the OP is working. Zipalign doesn't work (No zipalign database), No init.d support, no working busybox run-parts, ect... just figured I'd give you the heads up.
P.S- Nice bootanimation. Its the same one I've been using in my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 rom for a while now.

Hello everyone!
Few days ago I bought HMP and was disappointed by number of custom roms here) That is why I proud to present my own vision of ideal ROM!
ROM is based on official ROM: C232B005
Rom is TOTALLY cleaned
It is rooted and have preinstalled SuperSU
Rom is fully deodexed and V6Supercharger-ready
Cust partition is reduced to 70mb and cleaned of anything unnecessary
CD image consists of MyPhoneExplorer-PC and HiSuite installers, drivers, adb and fastboot tools
Many build.prop tweaks are integrated
You can download version 1.0 here: http://narod.ru/disk/54104751001.38b35451aa9e7b2e69793a5936b78a7b/HMP_AKM_1.0.7z.html
If you want to go back to stock rom I reccomend flash another base version first (B009 for example) because flashing B005 directly may cause troubles (it can forget to wipe data in partitions and this make system unbootable, but this is not fatal )
by your short explaination, it's look great ROM. Maybe Better than HWMOD or other.
But it'll better if you add more ROM Description like another ROM (HWMOD, OsiMod, etc). I'll try to use your ROM tomorow.
Thank you very much
Thanks. Will try tonight.

The diferent is OsiMod using C170B008 Russia based ROM, and HMP AKMod using C232B005 latest international official ROM.
It's many different B008 and B005. And I've try B005 is better than B008.
for example. Try to copy paste long text message or news on your mediapad. If using B008 unreadable, so many additional spacebar, only on B009 and B005 with clear result.
I love Osimod very much too, better boot animation, Battery Mod in %, etc.
But I leave it cause based on B008. If OsiMod build on B009 or B005, I'll use it again
But It'll be great if TiJay, Rac, and CarpeNoctem build ROM together :good:

could you go deeper about the how to install?
I know that it needs cwm to be installed but I would be happy to know if somebody uses the rom tool bootstrap what are the results?
does it overwrite with its own bootmenu or what?
how do you configured the installer...I know how...but most people I think would like to know...and I'm just tired and would be happy on my own...just kidding right!

Installs on any bootstraper normally not need to do any cleanup. One of the options the installer is just install plbootmenu that this case will uninstall razr touch black.

I tried to install only the kernel modules selecting just that and even if it says installation succesful I can't see any new modules been loaded ... they are not inside system/lib/modules ... so they aren't copied at all..
stock rooted ics 4.0.4 rom with latest ota update. international razr
Try to mount system under Mount & Format before you flash the modules. Just an Idea, i've not used this Zip. I always apply the Modules manually by put the needed one into the lib/modules Folder and start them through my init.d script.
BTW: That's not an OP which is clear stated. Maybe some more Informations about How To???

does somebody know how to change moto gallery with another one even for the camera app?
cause camera app even if you freeze or delete the stock one does not find the alternative one you install.
is there some solution ?
I really can't stand the motolag gallery....I got a sgs2 and every time I use its gallery and after use the moto one...I want to cry
however I'm using 900-1050-1100-1150-1200 mv for the cpu and I really doubled the standby time which is great and the device stay way cooler even when stressed

First impressing after looking through rom-folders is framework-res is "mighty fat". Its nearly double-sized than stock ones.
I have no time to check framework-res because I need to fix smali bugs which prevent first "stable" screen. If some one want to contribute and fix remaining bugs, here is temp folder -> http://munjeni.homeunix.com/temp after initial patchings so we need to look into reject folder and fix remaining smalis to get rom working! If some one patched (and tested) something please attach it here (only working things!) !

remove SEMCSetupWizard.apk from /system/app (phone can not boot using this apk)

No need to edit build.prop its edited by default by micode, only you need to use 2 libs from stock rom (libhwui.so and libjni_latime.so) and one binary (installd) and add them to your rom zip, allso you can use all frameworks from current rom and add to your rom zip, allso you need to add shelld service to ramdisk, and allso you need to remove some apk from your zip (see previous post) and you will get rom working!
Make sure compile hdpi apks instead of xhdpi (you need to find where is xhdpi definition and change them to hdpi)... !
Edit:
Forgot to let you know something. You need:
adb shell chmod 06755 /system/xbin/*
adb shell chmod 755 /system/bin/*
...because some files have no right permission!

Make sure compile hdpi apks instead of xhdpi (you need to find where is xhdpi definition and change them to hdpi)... !
Edit:
Forgot to let you know something. You need:
adb shell chmod 06755 /system/xbin/*
adb shell chmod 755 /system/bin/*
...because some files have no right permission!

Sure, i already put "local-density := HDPI" in makefile
Permissions... i didn't look after the in xbin - /bin is set.
Good news for P guys Got booted for Xperia P
Working: Launcher, Statusbar, Toggles and also task manager!
not working: anything else (even file explorer won't open and get reboot on lock! but will try to fix )
EDIT:
got working other Mi programs by replacing android.policy.jar (so it's a smali bug) but modems are not working and settings is a bit miss sized
will try to fix these :good:
hope we can get a fully working MIUI V5 :fingers-crossed:
Well, since you have working build you can start patching frameworks. You no need to use patchrom anymore, just simple using apktool you can patch a rest of smalis trought "reject" folder / reading logcat...

hey Munenji..
I love miuiv5 .. but i can't download this torrent.. and can you tell that when will you fix its bugs and make it ready for daily use .
Maybe never, maybe soon, I don't know! Now I am very satisfied with stock rom + ex.se and simple thinking stock rom is better that MIUI, so no need by now to waste time in making bug clean MIUI v5 Hope some one use them and finish them?!
well, all the good stuff from miui are in the ex.se so..
And for those who want the "iphonish" look, just ad the miui launcher found at playstore
I just love MIUI music Player, sad that is not ported to another rom

@munjeni - Have you tried building the ROM on top of the latest firmware available? Maybe the changes needed with it are less troublesome.

Porting MIUI will ever be difficult for our phones, because we haven't "standart hardware", like ST-E U8500 chip, mali gpu and some other things. So, whatever rom we would like to port needs to get the drivers for that. It would be quiet easier, if we have a Qualcomm chip and an Andreno gpu.

true, but MIUI sure is worth it
wouldn't it be easier to wait for a stable cm10 and use that to port from another cm10 based rom?
