I came from CheckRom Revolution HD v6 (gingerbread), and i installed omega v13. When i cheched storage information i found that i have only 2.5 Gb free on the usb storage (internal SD). There's still apps data from my previous rom (checkrom).
So, how do i perform a clean install of omega v13 ?
Thank you.

I'll try it and post the result.
It didn't work, still have system data from the previous gingerbread ROM
Found it, what i needed is Hard reset
Thank you
If you wiped sd card more so if you formatted sd card data cache and system you should not be able to boot as sd card is empty no rom no os no nothing .
Hence flash stock rom via Odin that will wipe again anything on the phone .

Can anyone help me with a fresh clean restored installation.
i even want to clean, wipe and restore my sd card memory.... with normal installs i can just clean my phone memory but not the whole 16 gb memory.
can anyone please tell me how to do it.
thanks in advance...
You can format your SD card if you chose factory reset in STOCK recovery
Is this fine to do it wont effect my phone? just some app data?
If you want to format all the data on the phone, you format usb storage, it works for me.
If you perform a hard reset it will bring your phone back to stock rom with no superuser benefits.
Usb storage is a nothing to with the phones memory its a folder for use during usb mass storage ,

Sure, you say so, bro.
I always do that and it cleans my phone.
You should try it out yourself and speak after.
I have wiped my apps and files in the file manager not once by doing this.

As I know, theresl's a setting to format internal memory in the setting, just format usb card, then facyory reset, or vice versa, then when install the new rom format/factory reset again, I belive then your phone is completely wiped.

Hi there, I'm new to this whole thing and I think I may have bricked my SGS2 but I'm not sure :/
Apologies in advance if any of my terms are incorrect!
Okay, so I was wanting to install the AOKP Jelly Bean Build 4 onto my S2.
Everything was going fine, I managed to install the ClockWordMod 4.0.0.2 onto the phone and do all the Odin Stuff.
I then put the phone into Recovery mode and then proceeded with the factory reset and then the cache partition wipe
and then the Dalvik cache.
What I didn't realise I had to do was to have the custom ROM on the internal SD. Being the n00b I am
I automatically thought that by "place custom ROM on SD" they meant to put it on my external SD card.
I can't seem to access the ROM zip file on the external SD and was wondering how I could get it onto my internal one?
I have two questions
1. Is there any way I can install the custom Jelly Bean ROM using the external SD memory? [As I don't have the ROM on my internal SD]
2. If not, is there any way I can access my Internal SD anymore because the computer is not recognising it.
3. If that's not possible either, is there any way I can restart everything from scratch, or reinstall an OS to use? LOL.
I am sorry if this isn't clear at all, any help would be appreciated guys! Please and Thank You
Factory reset from within ROM.
hi, it happened to when i finished flashing CM10.1 for my Samsung Galaxy W. what i did was i did Factory Data Reset from within the ROM and tick the "Erase SD card" box. After my phone reboot i finally can access the internal sd. thank God.
Update CWM to a newer one ... This will enable install zip from internal/external sd card
Tou can reinstall the os with odin stock rom from sammobile
Send from my SGS2 I9100 with PACMAN ROM and latest DorimanX 8.xx kernel
you may need to format it.

So this is what happened with me today , I was on a 4.2.2 based ROM with kernel Dorimanx 9.5 . Had some stability issue so i began flashing a new ROM also based on 4.2.2 . I flashed ROM , flashed gapps and was now installing a few mods . I was flashing Awesomebeats v5 zip and it was installing suddenly my device went back to recovery. i now selected install zip from Internal sdcard and voila it returned error , same for external sdcard . I didn't know what to do then so i rebooted it back in recovery as ROM had already been installed so there was this ROM's CM recovery was there. Now i selected Install zip from sdcard and to my surprise it was formatted , same with external sdcard.
i booted into the ROM then and installed a file manager , same there no data.. Why has my external and internal memory has been formatted ?
SO i tried recovery methods of data given there on xda , managed to recover just junk png files and other junk files . I just want pics from my camera to be back , any idea how could i get them back ? The internal memory is still empty so old data will not have been overwritten. Photo recovering apps are not helping .
Please help
Anyone ? Please help.
I think no-one can help you (now i useing with siyah/philz/stock ),it happened to me too before a year
