So idk if there is a dx2 bench mark thread... atleast i couldn't find one. But im curious as to how everyones dx2s preform with different mods/roms installed.
so heres the deal.
post your rom, any mods, and anything else that makes your phone different. then post your benchmark score for different benchmark test.
Pictures are always better =D
I'll be the first to start. and all my information is in my signature =D
Not to spark anything, just want to throw a theory I heard out: it isn't grounded in solid evidence but when Antutu compares your device to others, your overall score is inflated, ever heard that?

The problem with benchmarks is there is no standard scoring system so scoring is different depending on the tool used

Here's mine, running CM7 RC1 with beats 5.1 and ICS Themes. I was running mashup before but it was doing some funky stuff so this is stock CM7 build.prop
I might add my screenshot. I got ~3300 on quadrant on stock cm7.2 RC0.

I got over 5500 on antutu while I was on RC0 but it only happened a couple times.

Dx2 running CM10a3
I just ran Antutu and Antutu X and got an average from 3 runs of ~8000. I was expecting 4000 from online reviews running GB.
Ok Iam getting 8034 using Antutu + Antutu CPU Master and CM10.
Any antutu review from over a year ago (roughly) will show lower numbers. Around that time frame (forgot exact date) antutu updated it's testing algorithm to include more GPU intensive tests (which nVidia chips were beasts at, a.k.a. Tegra).
This is why you are having higher than "normal" scores.

Ok Ive switched to Eclipse v2.3 and get a score of 8068 and that is the fastest score yet.

I too am getting 8000+ scores on my X2. I ran Antutu on a Droid X and only got a 4000. X2 is a lot of bang for the buck.

I used to be getting 3200-3600 on my gs 2 but ever since I flashed unnamed 1.3 and icscrewed 1.1 I've been getting score ranging from 2800-3200
Is this suppose to happen?

The numbers mean absolutely nothing as far as how the phone runs. If they go up or down doesn't mean anything unless you like showing off your epeen....
Benchmarks don't mean that much (except large differences 1000+). How quick does the phone respond? Does it feel fast? If so great. If not, keep working.

I see.
I'm not a least bit regret about flashing unnamed because my phone is ridiculously fast right now.
I guess quadrant score really doesn't mean anything lol

really? you should be getting around 9,999,999 if you're using quadrant. thats about how accurate that app is. its a worthless piece of junk that you shouldn't use to measure the speed of your device dude. just use your phone and weight it out from real-world user experience.

Doubt it, all of the listed devices have dual core processors and/or really high level specs. we could probably make it run but I doubt it would be very playable.

The galaxy s line has a better GPU than the droid x or x2. The x2 has a better processor than this phone but not as good of a gpu so the difference would lean towards this. But for a game as intensive as that, you would need both a high end processor and a good gpu to make it run well. Im not saying our phone wont be able to handle it at all, but if it is installable for us then it will likely be a mediocre experience.

I just got an update to Quadrant Standard and I'm hitting 4500+ in performance mode! Anyone else hitting that without o/c?

Its always amazing to see how much powerful prime/tegra3 is then any other device. Its never by a little bit. It's always by a landslide that puts it in a class of its own.
Why is the CPU, memory, I/O taking so long? Sheesh! 2d/3d is where it excels. FYI I'm still on HC 3.2.1. Getting about 3300 roughly each tests.
Cf bench is still better at really getting a feel of how well your tablet performs. Alot of these others are just for flash n don't really take into account for multicores. CF was made for multicore devices. Only drawback is it takes so long compared to others..lol
I'll do cf-bench and give it a go. I couldn't beloved it scored that well considering the crap ton of background processes I had running. I like this thing more and more everyday.
I wish ASUS would put a rush on that bootloader unlock tool

Here's an interesting one (to me anyway).
Rooted+ATP tweak (noop, turbo 2, interactive):
just over 5000
Rooted+ATP tweak (noop, turbo 2, performance):
4750
No root:
In performance mode ~4100
In balanced mode just under 4000
In power save mode ~2200
Interested in others' settings/results.
I never really liked Quadrant, a really piss-poor benchmark.
For a while, I had the highest Quadrant stock clock scores ever for a smartphone on Smartphonebenchmarks.com with my Samsung Epic 4G. I cheated to get the score by using a ramdisk partition hack, and admitted as much on the website in the hopes that Qualcomm would get off their butt and update the app which was built for ARM11 (think the original G1) processors and had some really skewed weighting towards internal memory performance, which is exactly how I managed to get such a high score.
Not long after, the owner of Smartphonebenchmarks.com began working on a benchmark app of his own, Smartbench2010, and then Smartbench2011, which has multicore support. I think he's released a Smartbench2012 but I haven't really played with it. I still believe it to be a better benchmark than Quadrant, update or no.
But it's popular, so nothing will stop people from using it...
I would trade some of the power for a little better WIFI and GPS.
Could someone tell me what atp tweak is. Im only getting 4300+
Here is mine not modified at all on ICS in performance mode:
Picture proof of 4465 score
Quadrent Scores are pretty useless. The can be fooled and should never be used to judge a device. Any developer will tell you that the OS can be modded to give over 9000 bench mark but runs like crap. A search would have shown you this.

Anyone using this? I like it better than Antutu. The only thing my phone doesn't kill it at is the complex 3D. Guess I'll have to start looking into tweaks to get that score up if at all possible. I saw in the comments section on the Play Store that users of several different phones were complaining about low scores in that test.

Benchmarks aren't very accurate. They run like a normal app so they get limited by the OS in what they can do. A true benchmark would be a separate ROM that only does benchmarking. That way it could use all system resources to test the hardware.

We're always going to have relatively poor graphics performance due to our 1280x720 screens and last-gen Adreno 220 that was made to handle qHD (0.52 million pixels) not 1280x720 (0.92 million pixels)

Hmm, never heard of this. Any link to this info?
Yep, my wife's galaxy proclaim gets a higher 3d score simply because it draws like a fifth of the pixels my rezound does lol.
But seriously I've learned to not trust benchmarks, if it's smooth then it's fast enough

In AnTuTu this phone scores almost half of what the Nexus 7 scores in GPU test, though it beats it in everything else.

Not reliable info. Phones can be modded to do well on benchmarks. Wait till we get our goodies and see what happens

Generally the mods affect the IO scores, I'm speaking about only the GPU scores.

The optimus 4x hd is the closest and most comparable to the optimus since it has essentially the same software and is the closest tegra 3 device to the OG.
Per antutus website, the OG beats the 4x HD in total score and GPU. It loses barely to the N7, but that is likely due to butter and software improvements. Assuming both are on the same software, the OG should perform better.
I believe anandtech said Adreno 320 is the best ARM GPU this year minus the iPad's PowerVR GPUs. It is the top android GPU.
Either way, both are great GPUs, but the S4 Pro has a better CPU.

I'll find that interesting once we can disable the throttling on this thing, cause right now it's not scoring very well throttling so often.
