I was dumb and deleted the factory bootanimation. Could someone please post it?
Anyone. Please help.
I think you should be able to just delete the new one you've put in place. If there is none, it will go back to the default. As in, the first time you copied a new one, you didnt have to overwrite the one that was there. There wasn't one.

Thank you, but that didn't work. No the boot animation is just the work "android", not the Asus one.
Please could someone just link it to me. It is located in the system/media folder.

Any chance of making this work on a captivate? My friends don't understand why I play with my phone so much and this would be a way of showing them.

Is it possible for one of the devs to port this to the fascinate? I'm not sure if this has been asked but it would be nice.

For future reference, this probably belongs in themes and apps.
Anyways, you can probably pull it from the system dump. Is there one for somewhere?
Here it is. Havent tested on a Fascinate yet though. http://www.droid-life.com/2011/01/10/download-droid-thunderbolt-boot-animation-for-droid-x-and-2/
Ok installed and works. Well copied the bootanimation.zip over anyways. Didnt cwm install it.
Thanks. When you installed the bootanimation.zip, how did you do it? Better yet, where did you place it?

You put it in system/media. Should replace the one that is already there. Check your system folder and put it wherever your current one is. You'll need to rename it bootanimation.zip.
Thanks!!!!

Sure thing. Post your results if you would. And also which ROM you're currenlty running?
I tried Rom SC2.6, Stock Eb01 Deodexed, and SC 2.7.1. All I get is a blank screen during boot up.
Edit: n00b mistake....I got it to work now! Works on all three roms I mentioned above.
My freind was messing around with his phone deleting the bloatware and he accidentaly deleted the Setup.apk from his device and because I know more about this then he does and I own an Atrix i thought i could help him. I tried replacing the setup.apk from the system dump posted here and setting the permissions to rw-r--r-- and he still gets force closes when trying to access Accounts. Im assuming that it is because the dump posted was from a European phone. If someone could post the setup.apk file from system/app from a ROGERS device it would be greatly appreciated.
It would be much better to just get a full system dump from the Canadian model, or even just /system/app

I had the exact same issue. Mine was due to spaces in the recovery name, however.
Forgive me first off if this post exists somewhere else in this forum. I have looked with very little result. I recently rooted my device Cm-10.1 all went well. What I am missing or was not included was the My Net app from the tablet. A lot of people said you could find it on the ASUS site .. ummm NO unless I missed it. Could someone attach that APP to this post please.
here it is, idk if it runs on cm10, i pulled it from the cleanrom! maybe the asus apps dont run on cm10? try and tell me!
if you need the other Apps :

I am wondering how you got it to install. I am using CM 10.1 night 2013-0101-Nightly. I have tried it on several other versions as well and it will not install is this by chance a permissions issues ?
How are yoiu installing it? You will need to push to system/app manually and change permissions yourself I would imagine.

I just realized I never answered your question. I am pushing it to the download section and then just clicking on it to install it there I will pushing it over to the system/app section and doing it from there

Doubt that will work.
Here I have made an installer for you - try flashing this. I suspect it won't work on anything but a stock based rom due to some reliance on Asus framework files.
Let me know how you get on.
