CWM installed fine when I rooted but since it seems most of the Dev's are preferring TWRP to CWM I was thinking about getting rid of the CWM and installing TWRP.
I looked around but didn't see just how to do this. Anybody got a link to instructions or know what I need to do?
OR.... Am I worrying about something stupid and shouldn't worry about it?

I would switch to TWRP. All you need to do is flash TWRP right over CWM. You don't need to erase CWM first. Just follow the instructions for installing TWRP, and you'll be good.

Not to my knowledge. Teamwin recommended installing it as a PG86IMG.zip for now, as that's the most reliable way to install it. You could also use fastboot to flash it if you'd want. Those are the only two ways I know to install it.
Actually, it looks like you can use Joeykrim's flash GUI app would do that...maybe research how to use it for that.

my opinion is Teamwins recovery wil become the standard , nothing against clockwork . Amon Ra was the king of recoveries in the EVO4G days or atleast in my mind it was . I flashed the Teamwin recovery using the PG86IMG.zip . Went very smoothly without a hitch . My only advice is when you flash to Teamwin make a backup of your stock set up then let the flashing addiction kick in .

Yes. There's a new touch recovery available. Search the play store for 4ext. Its a touch recovery.

Latest Twrp works well. Only issues I seen in the latest was the time is off by 3 hours in the recovery and it doesn't seem to charge no red light.. But flashes everything right..
Hopefully this fixes a issue where the phone wasn't charging to green while off...
I've just started to use 4ext and so far I have no issues. TWRP works well also. I did get some restarts while in TWRP.
4eXT is going to become the standard you just don't know it yet...
(used Amon Ra, Clockwork Mod,TWRP and now 4eXT.)
I tried to root, good, I got Super User CWM, I cleared the cache as instructed. Tld me for clean install, format, I did, I cannot get past Duel-Core (I do see the stock "Fastboot?" Please get me out of this, PLEASE. I will pay or do anything, but i depend on this 24 7 for job! I'm sorry, help me!!

How did you root? Do you have unlocked boot loader or are you trying to keep bootloader locked?
Which CWM version are you using? the newest one doesn't work with our phone. I found that out the hard way the other day when i tried to flash an ICS rom. You need to fastboot into your phone and use a cmd prompt to install 5.0.2.7 recovery.
qbking77 has some videos around that show you how to do it.

Your second link is "Page not found!?" I found the video, but I cannot find the insructions to follow.
Did you try flashing the recovery zip?
Sounds like you already have CWM.... Did you unlock your bootloader?
All that should be needed here is for you to flash the correct recovery, which I linked above. Assuming you did a backup, you could just restore. I'm guessing you wanted to flash CM9, if that's the case, you'll need to flash that recovery, go to mounts and storage, format data, system and cache, wipe data/factory reset, install CM9+optional Gapps.

Yes, bootloader was fine, the link in the video instructed me to clear flash, dismount, and format for clean install. After that, nothing, just back to duel-core. I can get to the normal fastboot, thats it. I have RSDLite. The link I wes provided above takes me to your video, but I still get page not found on the instructions.
Power on holding volume down, when it says fastboot, press volume down until "android recovery", volume up to select, follow steps above.

Triangle and little yellow exclamintion sign. Android dude outside.
Damn, you'll have to do it the harder way, I was hoping you could still access recovery.

I have a Titinaum Backup on my desktop and usb?
You should just need to reinstall recovery.. Here is a link of a step by step video, give a huge thanks to QBKing77! Your bootloader IS unlocked, correct?

For future reference, when flashing roms, go to backup/restore in recovery and backup. Titanium just backs up apps, etc. Recovery backs up your entire system and all data. But the link I posted above and spleef referenced has the fastboot commands for installing recovery, from there you'll be good to go.

That was the video that got me here. I got into CWM, link told me to delete cache, then, "If I want clean install of CM9, unmount and format" FUBR big time then.
I saw a video where I can download file, and run dos commands so it will see phone and boot?
Hi, I just want to install a Liquid Jelly Bean 2.0. But it need to use the TWRP to install this Rom. I know how to use the CWM. I installed this GooManager in my note already so how can I start? Should I use Reboot Recovery or Browse Compatible Roms. Thanks for all the input.

Install recovery from the Goo manager menu. Then browse compatible ROMs and download one of your choice. Then reboot into the recovery. Find the ROM you just downloaded from SD card, wipe and flash. Very easy.
Edit: I think you need to download liquid jb from Dev's website because I don't think you can find it in goo manager.

In the recovery, first go to wipe section. Wipe factory reset, cache and dalvik cache. Go back and go to install section. Find the ROM in your SD card and click on it. Then click add more zips button and choose gapps file. Slide the bar and install. Reboot and enjoy.
PS: I think you should back up your ROM first in the back up tab in recovery before installing a new ROM.
This is not my first Android device and I'm familiar with the process of flashing ROMs. Usually I would follow a guilde to root my device, flash a recovery then use Rom Manager or something similar to flash the latest recovery before trying the ROMs I wanted but the Nook is a little different. I managed to root my Nook, then I tried to use Goo Manager to install TWRP but I could not get the Nook to boot in to recovery after I did. I ended up using a CWM installer .apk to flash CWM 5.x.x. That all went well. I then tried to flash Cyanogen 10.1. It seemed to install fine but when I reboot it starts to show the Cyanogen boot animation then freezes and shuts down. Doing some research it seems like not every recovery works with every rom? I think I also saw somewhere that I need to flash Cyanogen 7 before I do 10? I keep finding random different bits of information all over these forums (some newer some older) and it's hard to find definitive answers. If someone could come in and point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. I would preferably like to flash an up to date recovery where I can try out different ROMs easily as I please without having to flash a new recovery or unbrick my Nook every time. What recoveries do you use and what is your normal ROM flashing process?
You don't need to install CM7 but a CWM 6.x.x is needed. If you have an earlier version CWM you can use that to flash the higher version. Under C in this post I give a link to where I found mine when I did my first CM10 install. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2081981

I'm not sure what link you are referring to, k
But in the one I provide there are links to Verdicts ftp pages. If you go there you need to choose what to download once you're there.
