10.2 is optimized for tegra 2 and such devices
The performance is definitely better with this version on the Atrix. I've attached a modded library that will allow you to view Hulu and other desktop-only sites. Unzip, push to phone, copy to /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib/libflashplayer.so. Use Dolphin HD, set user agent to Desktop, Plugins to Always. Enjoy.
Thanks pal

Thanks so much for this! HULU runs amazingly on the phone, controls are a little off, but video is awesome.

Yes, hulu works great on Atrix but I tried naively to use your trick on my Galaxy Tab and obviously it didn't work.

push as in /adb push
push != copy
When you say copy too "libflashplayer.so", do you mean I overwrite that file? Because its not a folder. Im new too all this, so be nice, LOL.
Well I removed the original file and copyed the mod file over and it works now. This is so awesome!!

so did you rename the mod file to what the stock file is named? I tried that and it told me I didn't have Flash installed so I went back to regular 10.2.

I posted a modified libflashplayer.so in the Galaxy Tab->Apps/Themes forum a while back. It's not 10.2, but it should be the latest non-tegra2 flash. Search for "hulu flash" and it should come up.

Sorry, I should have put a bit more detail into my post.
1. Install the 10.2 Flash version from the OP.
2. Once you download the attachment and unzip it, you'll have a libflashplayer_tegra_mod.so file. The stock file is named libflashplayer.so. You can either rename it on your PC and then adb push it to your phone, or push it as is and rename it while in an adb shell. Either way, just make sure it's named libflashplayer.so and gets copied to /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib.

You'll need either Root Explorer or use some other method such as a root shell via adb.

The odex file has to match. What firmware are you running? You can also try a deodexed apk from a custom rom.

I'am running KF3 kernel.
I have downloaded already a custom rom but when unzipped
there are some image files and when I try to unzip those or mount
it with some iso program it will give a error.

I attached a program that will help you. Unzip and install.
1. Open the program and click on the "Drives" tab then "mount image" use the factoryfs.img from the rom you downloaded.
2. Once the image is loaded it will be labeled "Linux native volume 1" double click this.
3. This will open up the drive and allow you to view the contents. Search for the files you need and then click the "save" tab.
I also attached a deodexed apk for you, see if it works.
Gonna try it tonight.
Thnx for your help.
Jobmanager won't install.
I put it in the system/app folder that's good right?

Yes that's right. It should work, have you tried rebooting your phone? Also make sure that there is no .odex file for jobmanager. If there is, delete it from system/apps if you're using the deodexed one I gave you.

Extract an app

Hi there,
Is there any way to extract an app from a stock rom to place it on my phone?
Say, I don't know how I lost my stock Task Manager from GB, the one that closes applications after 2 minutes screen off, so I want to extract it from my friend s phone and install it on mine.
Or does anyone have it?
Thanks!

Download the gingerbread fruitcake. Task manager should be under system/app within the .zip.
I think the "fruitcakes" use .img files.

I know they are flashable zips but inside the zip is .img files which you cannot pull an apk from. You would have to flash it onto your phone and then pull the apk from your phone, whereas, custom roms come in zip folders but they have the system files inside which you can unzip and pull apks from on your computer. That's what I meant.

Oh ok. So, no easy way ofrece extracting the app?
Sent from my MB860 using xda premium
Well, unless someone posts it here for you, you can just download a "Full" Blur rom onto your computer, such as Home Base, Darkside, or Wet Dream (they all have a "Full" version), and just unzip them, copy the apk, put it onto your sd card through your computer and then move into your /system/app folder (if you have a root file manager), set permissions and reboot.

Just send installable apk of any file manager by bluetooth to ur cell and install it from notification drop down list. This worked for me. Before sending the file through BT, enable "Unknown sources" from Application tab in the settings.

Mate, you can just download APK for an app you like to use. Google is your friend.
Install APK > Titanium Backup pro > move app to system

The ROM might be in a multi-file .rar or something. If it is, you should use 7-Zip or a similar program to decompress it and then install the .zip file.

With Nottachtrix you have to put both the downloaded files in the same folder, right-click the "NottachTrix1.3.1.part1.rar" and select 'extract files' (at least with winrar, 7zip's procedure might be the same). After the extraction, you'll have the regular zip you have to apply in the recovery.

Max Blur and 7zip are exactly the same process
General advice: If unsure, always try to "peek inside" the file you just downloaded (ie. try to open it in an archiver or whatever app is appropriate). The insight might prove very revealing.
