USB cable issue Prime - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

So I was just removing the USB cable from the adaptor and this is the end result:

The plastic portion that was covering the USB part came loose and a piece of it broke off on the side. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement?
I figure that I could contact ASUS and have them send me a replacement, but I wouldn't mind having an extra adaptor and USB cord for my Prime as a back up.
My apologies for the not so great pictures, but I took them with my 4th generation iPod Touch.

Exact same thing happened to me so I just taped it up I would also like to know where to get one from.

You can get them pretty cheap on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw...&_odkw=tf201+charging+cable&_sop=15&_osacat=0
If you want to buy both the cable and adapter you could get that at OfficeDepot:

The same happened to me I just fixed it with electrical tape.

Got this issue to but luckly i just rang to the store i bought it from and made them send a new after a mail whit some pictures

Hemmm i've forget a thing..
The PDA Charges only 1 time at boot.. why?
I've cortocircuited pins 1 and 2, with the male usb jack in front of you and the white plastic in the low side.
very nice ... what's the usb port for?
The phone will only charge once because you will need to short pins 4 and 5 on the mini USB side of your connector.
To simplify, the TyTN looks for this short to decide what to do with the USB connection. You need to trick it into thinking that the USB cable is a charger.
There's another thread on this somewhere else. It might be a bit difficult to solder, but it'll work.
Oh. One more thing: Your phone will charge more than just the once (after a reboot)... It should also charge if it's turned off (standby). Might take a minute or so, but it should work.

Errhhh, it looks pretty much like my Shift charger, except that mine has a magnet around the cable about 4 inches from the connector. The connector looks identical.

bamp. am i worrying about nothing?
Have you tried the one from monoprice yet? I have one of their cables as well(10ft) and the plug is exactly the same as your picture. I used it on my OG evo and it worked. The only problem was it was a really tight fit and I felt like it was going to rip my usb port out when I removed it.(It happened to my friends evo so I know its possible) Needless to say I only used it once and thats it.
its pretty tight, plugging in and out.
im keeping a close eye on it.
It will work fine...
And yes its safe to use....

Wireless Charging MediaPad X2

I believe this can be done quite easily and cheaply with a wireless receiver attached to the microusb port and stuck to the rear metal exterior shell of the phone. (My phone is then in a case so it would not be seen) . Then place the X2 on a transmitter pad and we should have wireless charging... No more plugging and unplugging .. Anyone like to comment ? ... Not found a suitable supplier of a receiver yet.

What do you think about this case. I cut the speaker hole bigger like the rest of the cases.

[Question] Galaxy S2 HD LTE (SHV-E120L) Wireless Charging

Hey, i just found this old phone while cleaning up some stuff. My sister brought this from Korea a couple years back and left the box and manuals there.
There's like a two gold contacts on the inner face of the back cover which connect to the matching pins on the back of the phone, are these for wireless charging? i saw a pretty similar pins on Galaxy S3's back (but no gold contacts on the cover, so they attach a separate receiver and taped it on to the battery). Does this mean my back cover already has the receiver?
Edit: Those might be for NFC, as seen on the back of galaxy S3/S4, difference is that S3 and S4 have another separate pair of pins for charging while my phone only has a pair. The question now is can i charge my phone through these pins?
