is it possible to have an app that can control walkman light(available only for LwW) when walkman is not in use?
it would be better if it can blink once for every few seconds which is a striking feature of nokia N96 model, which has light around its menu button, keeps on blinking.....

Hello all,
all Xperia u users must have noticed that notification leds are very dim (specially blue led for sms and miss call notifications)
@xeda developers
can u guys please tell me if we can we control the intesity of these leds through code (in upcoming custome rom or some application)?
thanks
Mahendra
I just got mine today, but unless I hold it and look straight at it I can't even see the top LED is on when charging it, not tried missed call notifications yet.
The LEDs on top are crap
And cannot be intensified by any app or code.
There are apps that use the big led bar below to take over the notifications.
illumination bar app:

is it possible to make a mod which will allow the notification light blink every few seconds when screen is off? in purpose of knowing that the phone is on? (Like in Nokia phones) I will of course donate to the person who will manage to make it work :fingers-crossed:
l think that there is an app for that. Search for Lightflow in PlayStore.

How to slow down led notification speed in FXP CM10?
I'm using lww with fxp cm10 207, lupus jb v3 kernel.
Every time my phone has an notification, led is blink very fast and i think it'll make battery drain faster. In setting, i only see color choose, not led flash rate.
So plz show me how to slow it down.
Ps: i changed also pulse rate and speed but it didn't change, still very fast, about 2 times a second

When you set a new color, then you can set pulse length and speed. I'm using currently cm10.1 on my ray, but in lww must be the same.
Sent from my Xperia Ray using xda premium

I have a little app I assembled (using Tasker) to mimic the shake for flashlight/torch toggle functionality of the Moto phones; hope it's of use to others as well. I've only tested this on an Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact, but I've been told it works on the Xperia X Compact (and possibly many other phones).
The first time it's run, the lamp goes on. From then on, one or two light "karate-chops" should toggle it on/off. Caveat: the screen must be on for the app to function.
The permissions dialog states it requires use of camera, but in reality it's only the camera LED.

Thanks, I will give it a go.
I really miss the Xposed torch, so this sounds ideal.
Good work.
