I've searched around but I can't seem to find anything. I found one for the HTC Sensation at repairsuniverse. Would that be compatible since the phones are so similar?
Please keep all question/helped based threads in the Q&A section. Thank You.

No you'd have to buy a whole camera and then take apart phone and remove camera with cracked lens. Then re apply but this is one hard phone to open safe there are tiny flex cables, I don't recommend you do this, you should send to HTC.

It seems quite early for this phone to be dropped and considered old news already. I see older phones than the amaze on the website. Probably means that HTC Has dropped, or is planning on, dropping amaze support.

No Vivid or Rezound either
Its such a shame how a phone with great specs can be thrown out of that list... i guess they had to make room for all the HTC One series phones....

Hi guys, I posted a thread in General but figured that some folks may only browse device specific forums, so please take a look:

I'm hoping for more input to help me decide. Thanks in advance!

Lol greatest answer ever..
But to answer the question, both have flaws. Both have similar hardware. Choose one for the support, style, quality. Just do a side by side comparison. It answers so many questions

Go to a Sprint store and compare them side by side see which one wows you the most. Personally I love my EVO LTE.

I mentioned in my main thread that I've played with both in the Sprint store on multiple occasions, as well as having read tons of comparison threads on multiple forums. I posted my experiences and observations so far as well. What I'm more interested in is other people's personal experiences. For example, what made you decide on one device over the other? What issues have you had since getting your devices? etc etc.
Coming from the Galaxy S2 I couldn't wait to get rid of it. My main grudge was touch wiz.

I didn't read the other thread. But my personal reasons for choosing this phone was updated hardware and sharp screen resolution. I came from the og EVO so this was a major step up. 2 year old phone in this technology influenced era? You better believe I wanted the LTE asap. S3 just flat out didn't appeal to me
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
I chose the evo because for a straight month the screen just flat out amazes me. My wife went the s3 route but nothing touches this screen imo

I prefer the build quality of HTC over Samsung. My friend has the S3 and it just seems cheap to me. I'm also not a fan of touchwiz and the screen seems almost cartoony.
This phone is better, but development on S3 makes me jealous, and will likely blow away the development here in terms of volume.

I had to laugh when I read your link. It's pretty obvious when you compare your pro's & con's. Enjoy your Lte.

Well the LTE appeared to be the logical choice since I have the OG EVO But I'm not beneath going for another device if it proves superior.

Why is that? I was expecting as much development as the OG Evo. Did a lot of people get burned when they jumped ship to the Evo 3D?

Galaxy s3 for sure

Another one of these threads.....
Anyway... the S3 screen is a joke in comparison to the EVOs, unless you like oversaturation, pixely pentile display, blue tinted colors and dark black blotches on black screens. Build quality is better on the EVO, Sense destroys Touchwiz, EVO gets better battery life and it scores better in benchmarks. I could go on all day, but the EVO by far is better.
Although the S3 has far better development. Also the S3 seems to be far more popular and the EVO is the underdog.
I've been a HTC user for a while now. I had the OG Evo 4G then the Evo 3D before this, still have the 3D actually. Had the Touch, Touch Pro, and Touch Pro 2 before those. I've always been impressed with HTC build quality and Samsung has always felt cheaper. I've never really liked Samsung screens. I've definitely never liked TouchWiz!! The camera and screen played a big decision as far as hardware goes. I assume both will have excellent developers jump on board, so that really wasn't a factor for me.

I'll be honest. I have both. The HTC build quality can't be touched. Screen is a toss up, the S3 is more vibrant but not as natural. As far as the performance and features, the S3 is far superior. Absolutely no lag which I feel with the evo. I was rooted on evo with meanrom. I haven't rooted my S3 yet. Honestly, go for the S3. Cant wait to get rid of the cartoony touchwiz. Check out both, either way you won't be disappointed.

Similar hardware, performance should be similar, I went for the Evo because I'm not a fan of plastic.

Are you saying that your rooted EVO with MeanROM is more laggy than a stock S3? I definitely noticed that the S3 is smoother when I played with both in the Sprint store, but I was hoping ROMs will be able to fix this. I was also able to change the launcher to Apex on the S3, so it seems pretty easy to get rid of TouchWiz?

Didn't some other guy ask this same question like 2 or 3 weeks ago?
Well first off this is not a support forum. So putting urgent in the title is pointless. Don't do it.
Second. No it will not work. Either get the proper replacement part or don't do it at all.
The right way is never easy and the easy way is never right.

I think the vibrator motor has failed in this device. Anyone else experienced the same?
I see a replacement unit is only a few dollars, curious as to the difficulty of installing one.

Not warranty?
Probably, it's close.. but I have rooted this device, and the effort and time to clear that, and all the hassle of sending it off.
I can make my way around most electronic component replacement, so I was just asking around..
Thanks

noted..
I currently have an HTC rezound and after HTC abandoned it after one update never going to get another HTC. I've been reading a lot about this phone and came across audio issues and the amoled screen cracking not the gorilla glass in peoples pockets. Is this phone really that flimsy cause Ill give HTC this they do know how to build tanks of a phone. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and does Verizon replace it.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda app-developers app
Android Authority did a drop test with it from ear height, and it barely managed to crack a corner of the screen from direct impact. I would venture to say that you could have this in your back pocket and sit on it, and it wouldn't crack it.
Of course, there always is that one lemon....
This was my concern as well. I just got a stiff case and a warranty so I'm treating it the same as my old GNex. So far it's been fine.

I think those few cases of the amoled breaking on the international forum were lemons.

I think that's the ones I'm referring to. The I9505 and the I9500s.
btw, WE MUST HAVE JUSTICE...haha C&C Generals ... very nice
The way I look at it, depending how it's dropped your phone may or may not break... Just get a good case. As far as the phone, the S4 is the best phone on the market in my opinion.
My screen seems pretty sturdy to me. You're always going to have a few lemons when something new comes out.

Mine didnt make it. I have the s4 on the useless sprint network but at least i get 4g lte. My screen cracked while in my pocket and i had a case on it. everything is working on the phone just got that annoying cracked screen.
I figure if mine cracks, I'll get the replacement and immediately sell it to break even.
