suppose I wanna flash my phone with a new rom, my beats audio will be gone. So is there any way of saving the audio beats file or extract it as a apk file? So I can install it later after flashing.

More and more Rom have beats within, other than that, a couple of kernels had got it embedded as well, run a search

Hi I'm new to the whole android system.
I'm rooted but not unlocked.
I installed the Rocko 3.0 rom for locked users and i want to install the beats audio mod. I wanted to know how to install it. do i do it thru recovery mode and just install zip, or do i just do it thru file explorer.
any help would be appreciated. thanks!!
Doesn't Rocko already come with the beats mod included? Or am I mistaken? Either way you could just copy files with root explorer to destination fix perms and do it that way if you wanted.
what "beats" performance fix ? care to share the link ?
Beats audio libs, like beats by dre. some claim it helps other say it's useless.. Do a search on xda, I would for you but on photon

I don't think rocko comes with the beats audio included cause there was a separate link for it. and i don't know how to replace the lib. so my question is if i could just install the zip file the same way i installed the rom thru recovery mode?

Can anyone here upload a working one for me, I want to use it with poweramp.

DSP Manager - is from Cyanogen mod ! And it can't run on ICS (androi 4.x.x)
DSP Manager 2.0
Push the apk into system/app and set permission to rw-r-r
Note: DSP Manager will conflict with other sound equalizer such as music enhancement, audiofx widget and srspanel....So, you must remove other sound equalizer before you can use the dsp manager...
I also included original lib which come with the dsp manager... But you can use it with your current audio libs in your phone...:fingers-crossed:
Be sure make nandroid backup before doing this...
Beats Audio+Dolby Mobile +SRS. & Mega Bass Beats.
The ziped file contains beats audio ,dolby mobile,srs, and anther zip contains megabass beats .
Just flash to work.
Tested personely on lxdroid2 & longhorn 2.9.1 works fine.
Plz note that delete dsp manager else you will get force close @ startup.

I feel no difference after flashing and enabling it.

I dont feel any difference dude.. Only doolby appears after flash :crying: no beats audio after flashing 1st zip file.. Anybody can confirm it..?

Notification. Will not apear on status bar with this if u want the notification instal beats audio installer. Then .....do all things with it .....

For srs there is notification.Yet (gb) it enabled by default ..
This mods does not show any major difference. If u use good quality headsets. Difference. Is always there....
I felt difference in my stock headphone its all about your ear .. . .

I used beats audio installer from market but no notification yet.. I flashed that Walkman zip file already but no success dude.. Anyways thanks for your help..

for the time beeing we can depend on manual uninstall...using root explorer...
just search for same file which is located inside the zip..in ur os ...& kill it...
& copy the orginal lib/media files ..from your rom..& restart zats it....
for doing this u should have the orginal lib files backup....
I've recently downloaded one of my favourite games from Apple which is Jetpack Joyride.
When I played it, there was no volume what so ever.
Volume was up to max, etc. But nothing.
So, I flash stock ROM and sound was there.
Flash custom ROM, sound works
But when I installed the AC!D Audio Technology v3.0, sound was gone.
I have everything set up and I really do not want to reflash everything, restore things and re-customized my phone.
So is this an issue from AC!D Audio Technology v3.0? Because I know for sure it's not the game.
What I was thinking though is that I am missing a certain sound file to make the sound work.
Any ideas?

I havent any music mods on stock Xperia with 4.0.4 .587 and i have same problem =(
I'm using xperia neo v ics 4.0.4 stock(MT11i_4.1.B.0.587) with mod kernel
at first , it hasn't any music,after reboot phone , i got music
after that i do a master reset and now i'm not hear anything.
any idea how to get sound?

Done each n everything... moved my app a lot of times but still no sound whats wrong? I m using acid v5 n ics rom. Plz guys help me out it was good on pure stock rom but now i m on optimax 1.1

have tried to trace the contents of ACID 5.0 in your optimax? have you tried to delete them... try to delete similar components of acid 5.0 and the contented of optimax... then flash optimax in your phone followed by ACid 5.0...
