It's separate due to legalities. CyanogenMod was issued a Cease and Desist awhile back when they were including the gapps because they are proprietary apps. CyanogenMod was allowed to continue making ROMs because they came to agreement with Google by separating the gapps from the ROM.

On friday I should receive my Gtablet so I just would like to get some advices about what's the first custom rom I should install.
Please note that I would like to have a rom where everything works!
I was thinking about Flashback (Honeycomb) but it doesnt have full gpu support and the camera doesnt work , so unfortunately its not an option to me yet...
What are your suggests guys?
Thanks in advance

For starter, I'll recommend froyo or Gingerbread custom rom.
Vegan Tab 7.10 by Gojimi (2.3)
Cyanogen 7 repacked (2.3)
Brilliant Corners by Roebeet(2.2)
Calkulin and Clemesyn version 6 (2.2)
Or if you want honeycomb. Either go for flashback or gtabcomb. Not recommended though, since they tend to drain battery faster than the rest. I personally favored gtabcomb a bit, but the developer (zhyong), discontinued the development (i think it's because xdadevelopers doesn't recongnize it as developer T_T or some sort of issue )
Thanks mate.
But please note that I want to have everything working. Is fullhd accelarstion by hardware supported on gingerbrrad roms of gtab?

If you want everything working and HW acceleration then go with the last two he had in his list, Billiant Corners or C&C V6. Very stable, very fast.
Thanks. Thats all what I needed to know

You should note that Wifi locations detection doesn't work on those Froyo ROMs, only stock ones.
thanks a lot for the info martin88ca.I think I could live without wifi locations...

Man I had a look to the threads of those roms and.I.can see that both of them have uv/oc by default. Which one would you rexommend me without uv/oc (and with everything working)?
Thanks

Which one is GB again?
CM10?
CM7
Why is Facebook the only app in the world without a colored statusbar? Are the devs that lazy? Is it so hard to add one new line of code? Are they not aware this feature exists? Do they hate Android? New features on iOS are patched the day after. Same questions go to Facebook Messenger too.
What do you guys think of this?
