D's Kernel v.01 Alpha
Well guys here it is... The first official Alpha release of my first kernel. This is mostly stock, and I am just learning stuff. A few cool features though:
Swap memory Support (If you have swap space)
Unlocked HTC Performance
Optimized for Size
CFQ IO Scheduling by Default
Conservative Governor by Default
Over/Underclockable
Preemptible for Low Latency Desktop (Performance Tweaks)
Ability to Change Governors on the Fly (With SetCPU)
CPU Idle PM Support
Freshly compiled off of the Latest HTC Gingerbread Source for the Rezound
Much more
So yeah. That's all I have for now. I may make this into ICS later but not really sure at the moment. Just wanted to get a start on this.

To install this kernel, simply download the linked zip file and flash through recovery.

Lol ok. I've got my own build built with the conservative governor and it seems to run great for now on ICS.

I couldn't get it to boot either on ineff but I was probably doing something wrong with packaging the auto flash boot IMG thing lol. (not rooted yet, too lazy lol)

It is already a boot.img lol. That may be why.

Thanks to PreLudeDrew for getting this working. My First roms were having issues so Im using his update script and binary.
This is a stock ODEXed rom nothing more so no photos needed

IMPORTANT NOTE
Most of you don't like wiping your phone to install roms. But when it comes to that its best to just bite the bullet and get a clean install.
I will try to make roms so that you can just install on top and just clear dalvic cache.
I'm at V2 right now so if I go to 2.1 it can be installed on top with just a clear of cache and dalvic but if I do V3 then its best to wipe the phone as I have done something big for a change.

This is a stock rom thats all. All that I change is added more cache for us, and optimized the apps to work better for us.

Here is my first rom in a few weeks that I did by my self. thought it was time to do something as a base. Nothing has been changed looks wise its fully STOCK. I will be adding things to it. This is a updated base for any user or dev. just give thanks where its needed. If things are changed it will be in the CHANGE LOG. as I make fixes to keep notes I will update my change log cause my work takes a bit..

I know right, since I had to sell back my HeroC to Sprint (damn I miss that phone ) to be able to afford my 3D I haven't flashed anything to a phone in over a month. It's actually been fun though using sense again, and I'm definitely content in waiting until we get S-OFF/perm root. The wait will make it that much better.

How to flash
Place ROM on SD Card
You must extract boot.img and flash via fastboot. If you dont know how to do that i have CleanFLASH that will do it for you here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1416791
This should leave you in fastboot so you then need to boot to recovery!
WIPE ALL DATA. DO NOT ASK IF YOU CAN RESTORE FROM BACK UP!

I tried it with my AOSP port and it didn't work. I did get some progress with the stock HTC ICS kernel though
Is the watermark an individual file you can simply delete.... or is integrated to some kind of modified system overly...

What I *think* is because we needed an updated radio. Thats just my first guess and only a guess.
I am sure there are a lot of bugs in it to. WiFi and text messages do work however.

I see what happened. My build script failed me yet again. It didn't include the modules in the zip. Reuploading now.

Well I guess this is what I get for rushing it. HTC broke it even further by disabling scaling frequencies. So, you cant change min/max. So I enabled it via vnc so when I get home I will reupload a fixed version

I uploaded a new version. If you notice you can't change min/max voltages. Thats because of perflock being enabled and scaling frequencies missing. I uploaded a new version but it has the same name since both were built today. So, just redownload it and flash it. Now you will be able to change frequencies like normal.

I also have about 10 more commits to github done so prolly later this afternoon I will be uploading a new one.
Updated once again. But this one will be the last for the night. Still trying to figure out the backlighting on the hardware keys.
try asking the dev of CypherRom. I havent updated to the latest version but one of the older versions had the backlight working and when I flashed your kernel over it the backlight was working and were the buttons.

I have updated the graphics drivers thanks Snuzzo. Yes I added my Hosts file lame right (I know some of you like ads sorry)? I also unlocked the locked bookmarks. Think thats about it.. this is how the ROM (if you can call it that, not sure) should have come from Verizon.

So people know there is a lot of little things that I do that I just don't list. Guess I should for the eagle eyes and change log examiners. Things like disable Debug notification, I mean do I really need to list that? Anyway I did add the HTC One sounds/notifications. Hope thats ok..

Haha I know for at least myself, it does help to know. There's a certain level or standard that I think people have when deciding on a ROM to flash and I don't think many would give it a run if they didn't know exactly what you did. I wouldn't want to flash something that I was in the dark about, and creating a detailed layout of your ROM and change log shows commitment and attention to detail that is reflected in building said ROM.
Oh and we do love screen shots as well.

Ya your probably going to need the old firmware patch for the sdcard to be able to mount. Its around here somewhere and I'm too tired to find it right now sorry..

You know what a little birdie just gave me something that will. I should have a flashable zip for it tomorrow. Its too late for me to do it tonight and for some reason this took me all day.. so tomorrow.

Does the camera in this ota allow for still shots while recording video or did they leave that for the sense 4 only?
