Hi everybody,
I'm a noob on xda developers, so I maybe ask bad questions, and i didn't find a similar thread.
I've just rooted my xperia mini pro with superoneclick and installed cwm. Now I want to flash a new rom, but I dont want to unlock my bootloader (my xperia is 4 months old and i dont want to unlock)
Where can i find tutorials and roms for my mini pro, which can be installed with locked bootloader via cwm?
Thanks for reading and please answer
Michi
Stable ROM: Xperia UXT NXP
Unstable, still in testing ROM: GB ExMIUI by expeacer
Both are in development section, go look there. Only these can work with locked bootloader and stock kernel.
So I can't download any rom for my xperia yet?

These 2 can be used. Download and install via Recovery.

ok what about this rom?
http://rootzwiki.com/topic/12588-ne...tt-charge-while-off-updated-bootmenu-scripts/
Galnet miui?
That ROM is for Droid X as far as I can tell. It won't work with mini.
@someguyfromhell, could you please provide a link to Xperia UXT NXP ROM?
I can't seem to find it
Ok then there are only 2 roms i can use? What a pity!
@iONEx here's the link:

You must install it without formatting system or cache first, or it won't work and you'll be unable to boot ur device (like me - but fixed it )
LoL. I saw that thread. Actually I just took a glance, and mistook it for some mod or something.
Talk about n00b
Thanx for the link

Hei guys!
Am I able to install cyanogemod 7 or 9 to my xperia mini pro with locked bootloader?
I don't want to unlock my bootloader and flash another kernel, so is there a ported version for stock kernel from xperia mini pro?
Or am I only able to use these two roms with stock kernel? :

You can't install any CyanogenMod without an unlocked bootloader and there isn't any port that I know off and also, the 2 links you gave are the only ones that you can install with a locked bootloader Anyways, just wait for a few days and ICS will be coming out
Yes i can't wait until the update is out, I've been waiting for 6 months now! Bu
There aren't more roms, nobody knows more than this two?

if you want 2.2, all the roms based on 2.2 will work on stock kernel, so you don't need to unlock the bootloader, just hope the download links still work.
If you want 2.3, go to the MiniCM7 thread, the last version to run on stock kernel is 2.0.7, which can still be downloaded from the dev's repository, there is a link in his first post where you can find it.
Any later versions are all based on a custom kernel, so you won't have any luck with those.
Good luck
can u give me the link for 2.2 n also for 2.3.....
& tell me all bugz r removed...........
thanxx for your support....
I posted similar questions the other day on here trying to update my x10 mini pro to 2.3 which I got resolved.
My post towards the bottom tells how I got my phone updated without having to unlock the bootloader and only took about 20 minutes and since installing that rom other roms that don't require an unlocked bootloader are simple to install now and take a matter of minutes to install through cwm recovery.

dude that post is for pro not for mini......
if any dev have link so...plezz give it 2 me i wan't 2.3....full working in my xperia without any bugzz
thanxx 4 your support
Do you have your phone rooted and clockworkmod installed?
If not you will need that done.
Use super1click to root your phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682
Then install cwmrecovery for x10 mini http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1513534
Then you should be able to install roms that don't require an unlocked bootloader using cwm recovery, booting into it by pressing the back key repeatedly when the white sony ericsson logo text comes up. You need to copy rom to your sd card and once in cwm recovery back up your current rom and then install a new rom.
bro.....i wan't 2.3......if dere any link for 2.3...with unlocking bootloader
plezz provide me
i would be thankfull 2 u....

Is your phone rooted and do you have clockworkmod recovery installed?
If not you will have to root your phone and install clockworkmod recovery - I had some problems getting clockworkmod recovery installed on my 2.1 stock rom but the link I put in my previous post installed it without any problems.
Once rooted and clockworkmod recovery installed these roms will install through clockworkmod recovery without the need to unlock your bootloader

This is the last version of MiniCM7 (GB 2.3.5) which will still run on stock kernel on the E10i.
There is not much else, but it's fairly bug-free as far as i can tell from personal experience.
I think you can do that by going on your Settings Menu.
can u explain ......
As I have upgraded my Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 to a Sony Xperia S the beginning of this year, I gave my old X10 to my younger sister.
It is currently running Wolfbreaks latest GB ROM with DooMKernel.
I am looking to upgrade to ICS.
Can anyone link me to the most stable ICS ROM?
And what are the steps into flashing it?
Is it like back then where you flash stock ROM then root and then enter CMW and flashing Custom ROM?
What about kernel?
I really do apologize for my noobiest... I haven't touch the X10 forums since AGES. D;
They Are All stable, but you should try the new v2 of feralab ics.. And Gingerbread still seams to be faster than ics so it's your choice

Just flash Fera's V2. Didn't see much problem, but if it's for your little sister, I'll suggest stick with GB ROM for now.

Goto following link and Install a FerKernal V4 and ROM, you need to install a ADD on package-1 and other apps to get the Google Play after installation of ROM and Kernal.
You will get the Addon packages and SEMC apps in the thread itself.
Its preety good and stable.

I tryed all, what i can (not tryed with Hybrom, because i can`t find it)
Using for example method #3 from your thread I`ll try to explain:
1.Flash standart .62 firmware;
2.flash rage cernel for xperia mini
3.flash that wrong rom
4.when I boot phone, touch working bad
5.flash stock fimware again, but after that touch not working again.
Maybe, I do something wrong when flash stock rom second time?
P.S.:Thank you for reply.
Hello guys, probably i'm just i newbie and the answer of my question is easier than i think. I'm currently running the Cyano11 on my xperia p and i was thinking of trying a jb based custom rom, like the Phoenix. Firstly i have to flash the latest stock jb rom right? where i can find it? and for installing it, what i have to do? like the other roms, i can flash it with the recovery? and, what about the kernel? sorry guys, i'm really confused about that... is there someone who can help a terrible noob like me? thanks u a lot
tom
When you are trying to flash a rom read that page completely .. It has all the info you will actually ever need ever
Go to xperia p devlopment page .. First thread will be some thing like this "ROOTING UNLOCKING BOOTLOADER xx xxx xxxx .. NOOBS here !"
Read that thread completely you will end up having all you need
For kernel .. there is kernel in built in a rom so when you flash sony's rom you will have sony's kernel . For phoenix he asked you to flash NEMESIS because it gives you a custom recovery so that you can flash your rom from there .. thats it .
HIT THANKS dude .. psst I OWN A XPERIA P
