Relocking bootloader requires stock kernel. Kernel is included in a ftf file. The complete stock firmware is in ftf file, which you need to install via Flashtool.

How do I go to SE stock rom for Xperia Mini Pro? I already on custom rom+custom kernel and unlocked bootloader through the testpoint way. Somebody can guide me how to go back to SE stock rom? If have easy way also better..Please help me, thanks
WotanServer or get original firmware files and use Flashtool.
Dont need to relock bootloader?
First get back to stock, then reload bootloader if you want. Just do not update while having unlocked bootloader.

Use WontanServer to go back to stock ROM and Kernel. And if you want to relock your bootloader, use Flashtool

Tqvm all for help..im really appreciate it
im a little bit confused.. just wanna know.. is it necessary for users with unlocked bootloader to flash the relock BL ftf first before flashing official ICS ftf or we can proceed to flashing official ics ftf w/o relocking the bootloader?
See my FAQ thread on updating to ICS.
Thanks,
Rick

You don't need to relock it. You only need to relock the bootloader if you plan to upgrade using PCC/SUS
Can anyone please let me know if relocking the bootloader on my xperia s will erase user data or not so that i should know to prepare backup or not?

From my experience relocking does not erase the data only unlocking.

its not important if your device is rooted or not. (relocking)
but you should know that you have to use a stock kernel when your bootloader is locked!

re-locking doesn't wipe anything!
just unlocking will erase data partition.

you can:
1) flash stock kernel with flash tool( select your ftf 4.0.4 rom & use exclude option)
2) re-lock bootloader
its not important when u flash the kernel! but the device with custom kernel & lock bootloader cant boot.
So by using flash tool on stock ics rom ftf will surely give me the options to only flash (kernel) without flashing the hole ftf rom by selecting (exclude)??

Yes. Exlude everything except kernel will flash only the kernel.

My Xperia S is unlocked bootloader, using [email protected] rom with ICS15 kernel with CWM recovery. If I want to re-lock bootloader what steps needed to flash stock ICS rom. I mean, do I flash stock rom first and than re-lock BL or otherwise. I am asking this because the rom I am using is for unlocked BL therefore when I re-lock the BL there will be conflict which will force the phone to stop working. The kernel I am using will work with stock rom? If someone guide me how to start the process with step-by-step guide. Thanks

Hi monivan. Sorry for my ignorance. The kernel I am using (ICS15) is not stock? If no, from where I get stock kernel and how do I flash it. CWM or Flashtool.
if you have a ftf for stock ics, extract the ftf using winrar or 7zip then look for kernel.sin, flash it via fastboot, or you can flash via flashtool, uncheck everything except kernel.

i think u need GB kernel first
For locked bootloader only solution is to flash a gb ftf fw first and then flasha ny custom roms
Cheers,
AJ
Flash Gb.ftf file via Flashtool, it's easy
Sent from my Xperia Mini Pro using xda app-developers app
Well this solution worked for me some months back when I had locked bootloader.
Your on a ics rom. Download any gb rom of ur choice
Go to cwm full wipes then install gb rom and dont reboot just power of device since rebooting will end phone in a loop. Since ics kernel (stock) and gb rom
Then connect to pc via flashmode (since fastboot is for unlocked bootloader device)
Flash stock gb kernel via flashmode in flashtool. Done! No need to flash stock gb and root it!
P.S. Flashing kernel is recommended before flashing rom but its jst a short technique to avoid flashing stock ftf and re-root it.
