I created this thread as a way for everyone to get to know each other by name. We're a tight knit group of users in here, and I thought it would be appropriate for us to know each other by name. In the recent weeks, I've noticed an increase in bickering. Experience has taught me that when people know each other on a name to name basis, it creates a more personal atmosphere, where people are less likely to show disrespect to one another.
As your Moderator, my goal in the forums is to create a peaceful atmosphere, where people aren't at each other's throats. It takes away from the true purpose of XDA, and also pushes people away. Let's all work together to improve the overall atmosphere of these forums. After all, we're all here for the same reason; a passion for development, cell phones, and sharing thoughts and ideas.
I'll start, my name is Danny W.

Double0EK is the year and frame code for my vehicle. Hence 2000 EK, Honda Civic Hatchback. I used to frequent other forums related to Honda's and what not so I just kept that sn.
I've done some development on other forums. Mostly for my Motorola Cliq and Cliq XT. You can find some of my work on M3 (modmymobile) .com . I created an .sbf for the Cliq to flash using RSD Lite so other carriers could flash my .sbf and still get the latest firmware without getting bricked because the radio.img wasn't compatible. It also served as an attempt to unbricking the phone. Also missed a few apks to work on that little device.
I'm now not really into this stuff anymore just like to lend a hand when its needed and be a smart ass when the time is right.

Names Errol, Errol Roberts (does the bond look), lol Eh find me on fb, not that hard to find, I won't lie, I don't really talk much, I seem to socialize here more than anywhere else, well talking about something I'm into probably being why. My sn, I have no clue how I started using it, probably when I created my psn account, ended up using it on forums, think my first being when I used to unlock BlackBerry devices, been using it since then. Cheerio.
Everyone's throwing a little more out, so I'll add some more, I'm currently a student, gonna be working on my radiology degree for the next few years, after that I plan to work on becoming a doctor, technology and science have always been my strong points, I've put more actual studying towards science and kept tech as a personal hobby, though to be honest I think now I know much tech wise than science since I can pretty much troubleshoot and fix any pc issue and well I'm a quick learner, proved that after being here only a few days . I'm 21, yeah I know kinda late to go back to college, but I only came to the US about a year or so now, where I'm from (South America), the flag below my pic says the country, doesn't have much college or further education options after high school, so now I'm back on track to pursue my goals.
Sure do. I shipped jrod a Backflip so he can port over CM7 to it. But he ended up getting a Backflip from KB7SQI brand new. So he ended up not needing it. It was fun back in those days...now its just a bunch of brand new people asking the same things over and over.

I came across this thread and called Sprint as instructed in the link. I was a few weeks past the 1 year mark of my 2 year contract. Called Sprint at the number listed and they upgraded my contract to a full upgrade to the $150 discount, buy-back option on my EVO 4G and the total out of pocket for me on my new EVO 3D is $50! I should have it delivered before Monday. Here's the thread pasted below that helped me do this:
Current Sprint Customers Turn your $75 dollar upgrade into $ 150, FREE! (Evo 3d for $199) Call this number direct line: (877)775-4886 a sprint person will answer.
If you upgraded your phone 12+ months ago and are still under contract, you automatically have a 75$ credit.
HOWEVER, people are reporting if you call that number and request to pre-order the phone and ask for the 199 price, that 9/10 times they say yes!

Wont be a flame war if someone isnt trying to put it out
I don't post much but I noticed it's always the same people who make the smart ass comments.
Did it occur to anyone in here that the OP is just excited about getting an awesome deal on this phone, and she is just sharing her experience, hoping she could help somebody else out in the same boat she is in?
You guys (the smart asses) swear this is just elementary knowledge that everyone knows. Most of the time a lot of people don't know there are great offers out there for customers. Individuals, like the the OP is just trying to share the wealth of knowledge.

Thank you for the welcome!! I'm not ran off that easily. I expect some of the more experienced members to throw some jabs at me, but that's alright. I've just found this forum recently and am just now learning how to customize my phone.
I came across this deal and utilized it for myself, and thought someone else would like the tip. I could have sold my EVO 4G on CList but, really don't want to deal with the hassle, so, the buy-back option was best for me!
I do appreciate the support! Being a n00b and all!!

Just ignore the flamers on here. A bunch of mama boys that rarely contribute to porting, deving, or pretty much anything.
Keep an eye on the EVO 3d developement threads. Some exciting stuff to come shortly from the best devs here. Talk to a few of them and when myn, virus, evokings, mikg, tommy, just to name a few get here, it will be flash central for the flashaholics.... I can't wait to throw down a couple ports myself...

Hello,
Indeed it is very cool that Sprint is offering 150 Dollars Trade In for the 4G. As I had 2 Otterbox Defenders, an HTC HDMI Dock, and the 4G was replaced 10 Days ago due to 4G not working, I was able to get 300 Dollars on Craigslist for selling the EVO and all the Accessories save the Car Charger which still works.
However you slice it, 50 Dollars is a very reasonable price to upgrade into a 3D. Had I not gotten offers prior to my 3D coming, I would have traded mine in to the Sprint Store as well. Welcome to XDA.
Cheers,
JJ

Many of the other sections talk **** about the EVO 4G section because of the way a lot of people act in there. Unfortunately a lot of those same people are going to the 3D so it will likely be much of the same in here as well. Just gotta take it with a grain of salt and walk away (don't feed the trolls). Because I'm a geek, in medical school, on unemployment and it's summer, I spend way too much time reading threads. Not everyone is in the same boat and many people are new or casual users of this site so they end up missing a lot of things the rest of us have seen a dozen times. I'm just glad to see a new member doing what he/she can to try and contribute to the community.

Listen if i or anyone else made that thread we would have 100 post's way worse then mine. Also when i posted i do not look and see how many posts the OP has or if it is even a female.Just because of the pic and posts does not make it so.You have no clue i could post a female pic does it mean anything?
The point is I clicked on the thread thinking it was something maybe i need to read only to see it is something that is posted every time a new phone comes and those people really get hammered for the thread.
When someone makes a thread title ordered my EVO for $50 you would not think it was the good ole BUT I GAVE UP MY EVO.
Now i let it go and this post is not for the OP this is for the Idiot who i wish lived near me so he could come call me that to my face.
I did not call names and i hate people who hide behind a keyboard and call people really offensive stuff. There is a big difference telling someone this and telling someone what this person.
So, with the chance of getting flamed or... flaming myself depending on the reaction to this. SprintFeed apparently got word that the Galaxy S II will be hitting Sprint first, on September 9th, ahead of all other carriers.

Just thought any defectors would like the heads up. I personally am sticking with my 3Devo.
From the screenshots it looks to be the same phone. No concrete answer on if it's packing a Snapdragon which had been rumored or if it's sticking with Exynos. *Shrug* guess we shall find out.

Damn Sprint is on a roll. Hopefully they get the Nexus Prime when it comes out. That's the only phone I'm interested in. The GS2 should of came out earlier. Samsung waited to long in my opinion, But nevertheless Sprint has a good line up this year.

Yeah, the only reason I can see why they waited was because of the pressure from Apple and it's "your phone looks like mah phone!" 6-year old meltdown of a lawsuit that has been going on. I dunno.

I was going to go the SGS2 route but it's just too little too late. The E3D in modded form can outpace a stock SGS2 easily...and the nPrime is right around the corner.
I used to love HTC and I've really grown to like the E3D General forum, y'all is cool peoples (most of the time)...but aside from the unlock fiasco I can't stand the ****ty radio and the strange behavior when powering on/off really makes me feel like one day it won't turn back on again....especially when I've seen it happen right in front of me.
...but I sure as hell will not post a thread here about it. Nothin' personal OP, just sayin'...

Well, I know a lot of people aren't happy with the Evo 3D, I decided to drop this nugget and see how it went. Like I said, I'm happy with my evo. My Radios don't suck too bad, only thing I have issue with is a Black SOD every 9hrs when using a custom kernel... which I can workaround with a stock kernel.
You're post is a little confusing. so... you're waiting for the nPrime?. that's how it sounded. That's looking to be an October release, it's being made by Samsung too. Which I find odd, I would think Motorola would be involved. I know it was just recently announced that Google was going to buy them, but...I assumed it was in the making to be some big lead up. oh well, probably next year.
I'd think I'd like it more if it didn't look like the iPhone had a retarded son.

Thank god I don't get the Black SOD...
Yeah, I'm waiting for the nPrime. It's being made by Samsung which, while at first really put me off but I did sport an NS4G for a few weeks last month. Aside from feeling cheap and too light--which most people wouldn't see as a down side--it was actually a fantastic phone. Great battery life, phenomenal camera and an unmatched Android experience. It did have the traditionally weak Samsung radio, but, it seems that you can't escape that anymore.
...and so far as Motorola is concerned Google has assured it's partners that the bidding process for the Nexus line would in fact remain the same. Google is saying all but "listen, we bought MMi for the patents. The Set-top-box and mobile manufacturing is just a plus, that we don't intend to use." Of course time will tell how true that is. For the time being I believe them.
However a Motorola built Nexus would probably be fantastic as long as they ditch that ****ty Pentile screen technology. I bet they would have class leading radios and battery life too.

Yea MOTO isn't far from being a great phone manufacturer..they do have pretty good build quality and their radios are bar none..they have been in that game for a while..ditch all MOTO blur or map and the pentile..add some Google magic and we could have a winner in a few months.

Yea MOTO isn't far from being a great phone manufacturer..they do have pretty good build quality and their radios are bar none..they have been in that game for a while..ditch all MOTO blur or map and the pentile..add some Google magic and we could have a winner in a few months.

Agreed. Their designs are a bit stodgy looking, but their hardware (aside from those horrible screens and penchant for keyboards) is rock solid. They nearly invented cellular mobile phone technology. They have been doing mobile communications for as long as there has been a commercial mobile communications market. Their radios are fantastic. Build quality is always awesome. How many OG Droids do you still see around? Tons...and I have seen a lot that are beaten to death physically but still kicking ass, 2nd hand, 3rd hand...that says quite a bit.
Without knowing anything about the contents of their patent portfolio I am confident that it contains thousands of very relevant patents. I can't wait to see Google's next move.
I came from the Epic 4G to the Evo 3D. The main thing about Samsung was there slowwwwww release of updates. The Epic 4G rolled out with Eclair, took a while to get Froyo and is still awaiting Gingerbread. This really seem slow down ROM and kernel development. HTC seems pretty spot on with their OS updates.
I am waiting to see if Samsung support for their phones has improved. If it has, maybe I would consider going back. Until then, my Evo 3D is the shizzle.

I know we dont have an off topic room, so if I cant post this here then just DELETE IT!!! much love for my mods btw
SOOOOO...
some of you, like me, are married... and if you are then you have had at least ONCE in your marriage a fight or some kind of argument/disagreement that REALLY revolved around what the other person said.
well you SAID bla bla bla.
actually what i said was......
no, i distinctly heard you say the nexus was going to be better than the rezound!
...
this goes on and on.. and in the end. who knows what was actually said right? Someone sleeps on the couch.. or you just get over it, forever wondering what was really said.
The solution!!
24hour home audio recording!! A system that just records all audio in your home and stores it for later playback, just like CCTV .. but for audio only!
so next time you get into one of those situations you can just say "honey.. lets not fight, we can just listen!"
my wife said that people would hate that because nobody wants to be proven wrong or right and that there shouldn't be arguing in the first place. I totall agree! But we dont live in a perfect world, so instead of fighting about something and spending energy.. why not just "Play it back" ?
hope you all get a laugh, I welcome the discussion

So the funny thing is, we've had that ability to play things back and we still get it wrong. Remember the first Rodney King trial? Besides, you obviously haven't been married long enough to know that she's always right.
Now my wife, she thinks flashing a ROM is something you do in the bathroom.

I can't tell you how many times having the text, or G+, Bookface, etc message to prove it just got me the "whatever" look and verbalization. The only problem with 24 hours recording is there is just some **** I don't want played back! My girlfriend has her own place, we have only been together 8 months, I need my house to be my place I can talk **** about her,(sarcasm of course!) lol.
yeah, whats a healthy relationship without talking **** about one another?!
Exactly! lol, usually I talk **** to her. We have a good relationship, even with as mean as I am to her. I have things that were instilled in me by my parents that are the only way things should happen, like how to wash dishes, how my shirts should hang in my closet, how my clothes should be folded. She gets "annoyed" with me when I tell her to "do it right the first time so I don't have to correct it"... These days always end with us sleeping under different blankets, fortunately I get to stay in the bed(I paid for it!).
Hahahahahhaahah....sorry for laughing, but good God dude, why on earth are you still together lol I would never put up with a chick who acted like that...let alone can't imagine a girl who would put up with that hahahah...eh but then again I'm an asshole too lol...well no I lie, every dumbass woman I know puts up with stupid ****, then complains about it to everyone but never to their bf lol.

lol, it is only occasional. I started doing my own laundry again, lol. Plus, I pick on her all the time, she is from Boston and is 21 years old without a drivers license. I took her to get her permit a while back, but she has to hold it for 180 days. I made her learn to drive in my cobra, and now I make her drive my F-150 FX4. She hates it because it is too "big" (That's what she said). I even helped her buy a beater so I don't have to drive her around, lol.
I am not THAT mean to her, but when I am mean she knows why, lol.
Every relationship is different. What works for one couple may not work for any others. Also, everyone's a little nuts; you just need to find one that you can put up with. Key to any relationship is communication, that's pretty much universal. Something bothers you, talk about it. Something good happened, talk to her about it, tell her she makes you happy. Compromise but don't collapse.
There will always be disagreements, there will always be the "but you said" type of arguments. Misunderstanding is a simple data transfer error. Communication between two people isn't digital, it's not perfectly clear, and even digital transmissions get messed up, so how much more likely is it that human interactions have problems? Remember communication is a two-part interaction: there's a sender and a receiver, and an error can happen on either end.
Be honest with yourself, if something's not working, don't ignore it. We are each, ourselves, the easiest person in the world to lie to. It's built into our conscious thought, and it's called denial and it's very powerful, and very dangerous. Sometimes denial blocks some pain or trauma that we're not ready to deal with just now. Sometimes, it covers up something that should be dealt with immediately. Don't ignore that little voice in your head that says "something's not quite right," that's your subconscious warning you that this girl has too much of the bad kind of Crazy (with a capital "C" of course) for you.
Sorry, you guys wanted to go off topic, I tend to ramble. Could talk about bad relationships that ruined me for a long time all day, but I won't.
Hahahaha that's full of win. Any girl who drives stick is exponentially hotter to me, so without even seeing her, congrats on your hot gf. However, Boston eh? Accent? If so, Idk how you put up with that...hearing people from New England speak makes me wanna shove an ice pick in my ears.

No, her family is originally from Haiti. Her, her twin, and their other siblings all pretty much sound like Midwesterners despite being born in either Haiti or Boston.
She was the one in the video of me racing that didn't have very loud Audio. She was too afraid to hit the track since she had only driven a few times, but, I do have 1 girl/friend of mine who I let race my car at one of my Auto-X events this past spring.
Girls who have driven my car:
My Girlfriend(This was taken by my buddies Boss same day as that video in my car):
My best friend(Me in the pic):
Every relationship is different, that's for sure.
I have been married twice. My first Wife & I fought ALL THE TIME, but ever since we got divorced years ago we have gotten along great. Not only that, my current Wife & her get along great & I think her new husband is a GREAT GUY.
My Wife & I have actually gone out partying with my ex & her husband & had a GREAT TIME. How many people can say that about an ex wife???
~John
nice! that boss is sexayyyyy
also, hook me up with your best friend. ;D
Haha, she just got engaged.
The 1st pic, my car is the 6th one back with the hood up. This was taken in between heats. It was like 86* out too, sucked ass! I was happy as hell they didn't make us wear fire suits for it! That was also the only day I ever wore that helmet The very next day I met Steve Saleen and he signed my dash/helmet, and some posters, including a rendering done by Karbon Kreationz for me when I owned AFCC.
DAMMIT I MISS MY CAR!
Also, Allison is a professional Model. If you live in the Chicago Area there are a ton of billboards and signs with her on it. I am her unofficial agent, lol.
And, besides snowboarding, this is why we get along, lol.
My girlfriend is in the learning phase of all the sports I do
siiiiiiiiiiiick. get her back. better yet, get a saleen lol
Yea, I told him he should hook me up! He told me save my pennies! lol, he was a really cool soft spoken and seemingly humble guy! I would LOVE a SMS 25A.
I think if I recorded everything my hubby and I talked about I would be proving him wrong!!! ;P On the occasion that he is right I would stick my tongue out and tell him he is sleeping on the couch! Of course he really wouldnt but I say it anyways LOL

Psh, you need to meet my girlfriend and teach her a thing or 2, lol. She has this thing where ideas automatically become what is going to happen. For example, if I say, "Hey we should go here this weekend", she automatically thinks it is a plan set in stone. Which, could sometimes be a good thing for me, lol, but I am usually just throwing out ideas.
OR, She will completely forget we even talked about doing anything and makes other plans that conflict with what was actually set in stone. We never have a middle ground.

I think it is because everyone is scared of its size. I have one and love it. Stopped traveling with my tablet cause I got this. I admit it is big but not so big as to not be able to fit in my pocket. Everyone says "Oh you got that huge Android Phone." and then ask if they can see it. Once it is in their hands they say that it feels good in their hand and then they like it. It seems that the talk on the blogs and reviews about it being too big has keep a lot of people from even looking at it even though my contacts at ATT say it is flying out the stores.

Att and Samsung are advertising pretty hard for it. I think once people realize how portable it really is, they will consider it. I still get a few jeers from my friends, followed by them admitting it is a pretty sweet device.

I wonder what the percentages of the below are, when discussing iPhone users:
1. Aware that AT&T allows them to upgrade at 18 months
2. Aware that having an iPhone no longer makes you "cool"
3. Are of the age where they can buy the phone on their own without parental involvement
4. Are aware of what they are lacking with the iPhone
5. Care that their iOS device is at best outdated
Regarding number 3 - I knew the iPhone lost its caché when I was at the movies and saw an eleven-year-old (!) with one. At that time I'd already jumped to Android but my wife still had her iPhone 3G and wanted an iPhone 4. I gave her a good ribbing about wanting a phone that even kids have nowadays.
I remember her needing a new phone and pay through the nose for the original RAZR., so the idea was not lost on her - I think she'll go android on our next upgrade date - she's already entertaining it.
Her trepidation stems from her unfamiliarity with the Android interface - I assure her that she can make it whatever she wants, and even recently showed her a video of Espier launcher; I think that sealed the deal, so come August she might have a better (but not bigger!) phone than I have.
I think cause its still new and its a bit over priced.
Definitely because it's just a new device. The Streak was the first mainstream "phablet", but due to a lack of advertising and outdated software, it never took off for anybody that wasn't familiar with the dev work for it. I think the trend set by this phone combined with good software, great specs, and heavy advertisement by Samsung will make the Note line of phones very popular in the future.
The Note already is selling well, as the ATT store I bought mine from only had one white and no blue ones left when I bought mine...lucky me I wanted white. And I live in Northern Minnesota, which you could say is less tech savvy than a lot of places in the US. Goes to show Samsung has a potential gold mine on their hands if they push this market. Right now, you could say it's a niche device, but I think it's going to turn into a mainstream class of devices.
Everybody who has asked me about my phone is absolutely stunned by it. First, they laugh at its size and ask what the hell it is. Then I tell them it's the Galaxy Note, and explain some things about it, highlighting the 720p screen and SPen. They are impressed by that, but then ask, how the hell do you fit it in your pocket or carry it?! If I know them, I invite them to put it in their pocket and feel the size. They are wowed by how big they screen is, yet how portable and pocketable it really is. By the time I am a done showing them everything, their opinion is completely changed, and they admit it's an awesome device. The only people who say they wouldn't want it themselves are Apple loyalists, who argue that their integration and iCloud make it so they could never use anything but an iPhone. I tell those people that they're being ignorant, because you can do basically ask if that just as well, if not better with Android and Google apps. Even still, they admit if they weren't an iPhone/MacBook user, they would like the Note. I have not seem a single person who dislikes this phone so far.
Just show off your device every chance you get, and eventually people will realize how amazing devices like this really are, and realize their full potential.

The size of this phone freaks people out at first. I remember after getting this phone and taking it with me to work, every student I had was drawn to it like they didn't know what to think. It was comical to watch them all take turns seeing if it would fit in their pocket.
Despite the initial skepticism that they would like a phone this size, a vast majority of the students after messing with it for a second really liked it.
Same thing happened at the bi-monthly staff meeting. It was even funnier than the students...watching a bunch of adults playing pass the phone down the line game. Several of the teachers have either now went out and got this phone or are going to use it as their next upgrade.
I will say that I kinda enjoy having a phone that's not super common

I have seen two others both in the airports while traveling. Most people who notice my phone have seen the ads in one form or another. They know you can write on it!
EDIT: I send this original message while at my son's karate practice. I was sitting there and this very attractive Asian lady comes up and asks me if that I the Galaxy Note. I later found out she is Korean and loves Samsung and Android. She has a Vibrant on T mobile and say she heard they just hacked the GNote for T mobile...I was blown away at this girls knowledge of phones etc. Of course I let her play with my phone!
I then told her she should get a pink GNote and she googles it and you would have thought I was her hero...it was pretty wild how excited she got about a pink GNote although I do not believe it is out yet.
Pretty cool story regarding a simple ole phone!

I've only seen one other person, I was in line at a hibachi grill and while waiting for food the guy beside me pulled out his note, was using the flip-open battery cover case that AT&T has. We chatted for a minute or so while waiting for food, he came from the Pre and was disappointed how WebOS turned out, and said it took him a few days to get used to the size, he's still learning Android, asked me about a few things like do things "crash" all the time, etc, told him I have yet to see a single crash out of mine.
Cool thing was, when he first pulled it out I didn't say anything because he was getting into his calendar and looking up some events, added an event between them to someone and sent off the invite. He was getting along pretty good, and didn't want to disturb him while he was doing work.
Besides myself, I know of 3 other guys where I work with one plus I've ran into a couple other people with one at restaurants. The guy at the local AT&T told me they sold out the first day, so there should be several of them around here.
I have yet to see one in the wild. But any pol look at mine just like you guys shared. I love the attention from the girls looking at it.

too many sheeple that think that because everyone else has one, they have to have one to "stay cool".
I've always considered myself an INDIVIDUAL. I don't buy things based on what everyone else does. Almost to a fault, I'll go the opposite direction of "trendy" things. Hell, I still (when I can find them) wear the same style Nike White with red "swoosh" leather Cortez shoes (the ones like from back to the future). I've worn them since 1976....why...BECAUSE THEY ARE D*MN COMFORTABLE. Same thing with how I dress, my opinions etc. If you don't like it, tough, it's how I am. I got a Dell streak in Oct 2010 because I thought a 5" screen would be a benefit to me, and I was right, too bad Dell & at&t didn't market it. When I heard Sammy would have one, couldn't wait to get it. And I'm right, it's PERFECT for me. The sheeple can squint at their TINY screens all they want and look cool, at least my eyes don't have to squint.

For those of you that celebrate thanksgiving or just want to participate in this thread you are more than welcome too.
I would like everyone to say 1 thing they are thankful for this yea. It doesnt have to be about XDA or Devs. Just any old thing that you are grateful for. (we could use some good thoughts here.)
I will start:
I'm thankful for the doctors that are treating my dads cancer. 2 weeks into his treatment they say the tumor has shrunk 1/3 of the way and the outcome looks good.
I'm thankful for my girlfriend of almost three years. Things have gotten a little bit rocky at my house(won't go into details) but through everything she has always been there. She keeps me sane.
Also thankful for the developers, especially those who have been kind enough to reply to my pestering PMs(always trying to learn stuff). Thankful for those in the community who keep me entertained when I'm bored out of my mind(seriously... I check xda before Facebook or twitter in the morning).
Also. The fact that I live in a country where I get to ask myself what I want to eat. Not if I get to eat.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda app-developers app
Good to hear the cancer is getting its ass kicked! Keep your spirits up! :good:
I'm thankful that my needs have always been taken care of. As a 16 year old kid and my dad getting laid off twice, I have never gone hungry and never had to worry.
I am especially thankful for my mom and how she has always been there with me. She helps me through everything and is the most intelligent person in the world. That may sound cliché but it is true.
I am also thankful for a decent community here, where other forums are a wasteland. We have a great community and great developers!

Now THERE is something most people overlook. I'm thankful for that as well.
I am also thankful for my wife and for all 4 of our babies and for a job that allows me to pay for a mortgage and necessities to take care of my family.
I'm thankful to the xda community and for all the support from those that enjoy my work. I am also thankful for my android friends and for those whom I've been growing "android developmentally" with. The Rezound was beginning to look hopeless but we all took charge and made it something amazing. I'm thankful also that Chad upgraded to the Rezound from the Incredible lol. AOSP wasn't possible without you dude, at least, not any time soon for sure.

I'm thankful for my beautiful, healthy family, good friends, my faith, and for all the great devs that have basically given me a new phone every week! Thanks all!
I'm thankful for my family of course. Then I'm thankful for this great community especially the off topic thread people who I feel are better friends than the ones I have in real life. I'm thankful for the devs who make this phone with keeping for the 2 years of my contract. I'm thankful for my health and just thankful to be alive.

Just kidding bro. You're a good kid, and can take a joke without getting butthurt.
For me, I'm thankful for my two beautiful son's. I am also thankful for modern medicine because without that both of my sons wouldn't have survived birth or post pardum. It takes a lot for a big tough guy like me to tear up, but thinking about how lucky of a man I am to have them sure does it.

I'm thankful for a wonderful Wife of 19+ yrs, the opportunity to have worked for the same company for 20+ yrs(my only FT job, ever), and the fact that my immediate family are all still with us. Also thankful for the people I have been fortunate enough to make friends with, and for those I was blessed to have known before they left us.
Happy Thanksgiving, fellow geeks.
I am thankful for for the way my mother raised me, she passed away over seven yeArs ago right before my 18th birthday, without her guidance I would have never made it as far as I have in my life. Also thankful for my love of two years, sense I've met her she's done nothing but hold me together, and support me in all my decisions.. also thanks to everyone here on xda who helped me become part of the community I've found people here I'd rather talk to then anyone on my Facebook.. I'm thankful for a wonderful family, even with all the stress having an autistic teenage stepson brings. For having a boss who appreciates the work I do. For parents that brought me up right in this disaster of a society. For having a roof over my head and food on the table. And for devs who have made my phone everything it was meant to be.
Sometimes you have to be smarter than your smartphone.
I'm thankful for music. It's gotten me out of the toughest times and in the future is gonna provide for my family. I'm thankful for a supporting family who's always there for me, and great friends who I can always count on. I'm thankful that Stone Sour exists. When I was going through a hard time last year, some of their albums kept me from losing my mind and helped me hold on. I'm thankful for the music in general, sure, but I'm especially thankful for Stone Sour in particular because of how their second album kept my spirits up and helped me feel like I could weather the storm.
I'm thankful that both my legs and arms work fine, while others aren't as fortunate. Relating to the condition of my body, I'm thankful I've been able to lose 25 pounds since the spring. I'm in the best shape of my life right now thanks to regular exercise and the resolve to keep it going.
I'm thankful for the community I've been a part of for the past five years. I've been moderating it since 2010 and the community there is hands down the best one I've ever found on the internet. I've met some of the most intelligent, amazing, and hilarious people on it.
I'm thankful for the fact that I'm intelligent enough to not be in a self-defeating mindset and always know to not trap myself in it, while most people are constantly stuck in that kind of mindset and never see success in life.
Thanksgiving is my favorite Holliday. Omg the food my pallet will be graced with. Family is nice too but I see most of them all the time anyway lol. My mouth is watering all ready
I'm thankful there are guys on the internet who post nice things they are thankful for. <3
I'm thankful and grateful for my best friend who creates a place for me to grow and be a better person just by being such a wonderful person herself.
I'm thankful I love my work, even when it is aggravating.
And I'm thankful for my furry friends. These guys were like kids to me, I'll never forget them. I fill with joy whenever I think of them:
R.I.P. Ruga Buga Muga Wuga and Chocolate Ice-Cream Face. <3 <3 <3
So many things for which to be thankful. I'm thankful for my wife of 2 months. We've been together for 4 years and just got married in October. I can't imagine my life without her.
I'm also thankful for my aunt, who actually knows how to cook a turkey. I'm also thankful nobody got food poisoning from the turkey my mother in law cooked last Saturday.
And I'm thankful for the Rezound and Android dev community. Sure, it's a little glitchy but it's still better than sense and getting better with every build.
