So I changed my DPI to 220 with xxTweaker and I didn't have problems until I read that I have to get a fix for the Play Store to work correctly and I messed with that file and the GoogleServicesFramework.apk by replacing there apks with Multi-Dpi files I found on XDA and know my Play Store gives me an error that I can not get rid of, " Server Error". I can not utilized it at all. So I need a fix to have it work for 220 DPI and since the Play Store is not working I can not purchase the DPI modder app. I have also tried to fix it by reflashing gAPPs. I don't think it will help but I am on B37 AOKP + Fluxi XX 5/27.
Well it sounds like you went to more trouble than you needed to. Why didn't you just use rom control to change your dpi?
If you were messing with framework and who knows what else.... best bet is to full wipe and reflash. Then use rom control to change dpi. I have had mine set at 200 without any issues for some time now.

reminds me of people i have to deal with daily at work. they dont like the answer you give them, so they shop around for one they want to hear.
usually more effort and energy is wasted trying to get around doing the work, than if they just did the work and went on about their lives....
I just like multiple confirmations.

What in hell is wrong with you people? He probably got in trouble in the first place by doing the first thing he was told. So now, when he simply asks for confirmation before doing something wrong again, you put him down. Remember the old saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."? All he is doing is confirming the correct, and best, solution for his situation.

He was given 3 confirmations... is that not enough? A little reading through here and you would know that Nick and PirateGhost know, at the very least (and that's not giving them credit), the basics. Then you have Phalanx, another Android educated member of XDA confirming by his reaction in the response which makes it 4 confirmations...
Maybe I'm missing a screw somewhere, but that's enough confiation to just get it done and stop asking for "more confirmation". You don't go to multiple doctors to tell ya you've got the flu do you?
[EDIT] Do we need Entropy and lilchris to confirm as well?

Ah ok. Next time, try clearing the data of the application. I always wait until I've reached a complete dead end before factory resetting; getting everything set back up can be a pain, unless you hadn't done much to it yet.

Yeah I did that. Cleared the data, uninstalled/reinstalled. Tried an older version from titanium backup. Google searched...lol I was at a dead end. But its no big deal doing a factory reset, I had tons of backups. So it took me about 30 mins to get back to normal.

I just received 2 batteries for the I-777 that I bought on eBay. However, they do not have NFC. For the hell of it, I double checked and tried turning on NFC in the settings and it said "error occurred". So I'm like yeah okay, figures. So I pop in the original battery (NFC capable) I was using and tried turning it on, and it was still not working. I'm on ICScrewed 2.1 with Siyah's last up-to-date GB kernel. Re-flashing didn't work. Help?
Stuff I've tried:
Wiping/Re-flashing
Back to stock, re-rooting, reflashing (was sure this would have fixed it...)

Labeling people as "trolls" won't get you help around here. Especially when they are the guys with most of the answers!
Keep searching, Google, xda forums, everywhere. Sometimes the answers are in obscure places. It's a pain in the ass, especially xda's search function, but it's worth the time. You may or may not find your solution but learn something helpful in the process. Right now I've screwed up supercharging my phone... Now im frantically looking for ways to fix without flashing. Keep kissing ass to your friends. Phalanx doesn't help. Look at his answer. Absolutely nothing to do with the OP. Instead, he's insulting me by saying I haven't searched, when I have. Not to mention, he does that in every thread I made. I'm pretty sure such behavior is trolling.
Anyway, like I said. I did search. All people have said is: pull battery out and put it back in, reflash (wiping of course too), and going back to complete stock and re-rooting and flashing. None of those have worked. See, you people assume I haven't searched, but I have...
Apparently, there was a flashable zip to fix this, but it was for a different phone when I was looking on Google.
All I can say is include everything you've tried in the OP. If you come across anything, make an update in the thread or an edit to the post, whichever is easier for you.
It took 2 people asking a question to get that you had tried two other possible fixes and they failed. Do you go to the doctor and tell him your head hurts but leave out the part where you damn near knocked yourself out working under the sink? No, you tell him everything you can think if that may have caused the issue in the first place.
No trolling, no judgment and for damn sure no kissing ass (see the thread where I pissed of Shoman). Just a normal guy trying to help ya out a bit.

Flash the stock 2.3.4 with root and then flash siyah or entropy's kernel for CWM. There's your spoon feeding for the day

Questions belong in the Q&A forum, not general.
Many of the methods will not work. You can flash a custom kernel which injects root (increments the flash counter.) There is a rooted stock ICS in the original development section (does not increment the flash counter.)
No no no! Creepy, they don't want the EASY way dude. Have u learned nothing? They want to update with kies. So they can make a thread about not being able to update with kies. Then make another about the correct drivers and how kies sucks in general. Then they wanna use that for 2 days , find out how bad it sucks, then try and flash back to something else with Odin. Except they can't get Odin to work. New thread time again! Then once they get that spoon feeding goodness they wanna Odin back to stock and flash a new ROM. I have tried both of creppy's roots and one of the galaxys2root.com roots also (i know you people dont approve of the site), and some random forth root. So I dont know what else to look for.
The Phone: the turn on animation still say it is a GT-I9100 even though it is running of the right stock ROM (idc about this thought it might mean something). Every time i download creppy's roots after i press the droid it either freaks out or say it cant find gapps even though i still have gapps.
So you can either criticize me or help me I dont care. I just dont have any clue where to go from here. All i can do is to turn to people who know more.

Last weekend I installed the JellyBAM ROM v7.6.2. Today, I decided to try overclocking. Following the galaxys2root guide, I downloaded and flashed the Zedomax OC Kernel using CWM Recovery. It was all going smoothly untill the reboot. It's stuck on the main boot screen with "Samsung Galaxy S-II," but nothing comes after, no matter how long I wait. If anybody has advise for me please tell me. Thanks a lot.
Do make sure yours is i777 and not i9100 first.
I know what version I'm running haha, I'm not that stupid. I fixed it by running cwm recovery and reinstalling the ROM from a folder i made in the external SD. It's also not cool when people use stuff from other sites and then want people on xda to help fix their problems, meanwhile a quick search almost always lands good results.

I do know the responsibility in making this account and the rules that follow... galaxys2root didn't have the answer so I was hoping that the people on xda could help. I understand now they are not affiliated now but what I did not know was that JellyBAM wasn't either. I asked a question that solved itself, and I apologise for offending, annoying, and or breaking some rules. I needed help because I thought my phone was ruined, and I normally dont trust other sites. Everyone here knows what they are doing. By the way, I'm going to stop using galaxys2root... its unreliable... (to me)
I respect that. Nice to see you've stopped using that site, good luck and have fun flashing .

+1 on the unreliable. Xda is where it's at. I've learned a lot here just reading and reading, specially when taking a dump and I can it's pretty awesome. There are a lot of sites out there but xda is the best imo
