Stuck in Mooboot - TouchPad General

Hi guys,
I've been trying to install Android on my touch pad but have ran into an issue. I'm suck on the moboot bootloop. I followed the idiots guide 2.0 to a tee. The only difference being I downloaded the latest CM 9 nightly file from the site and also the 3/17 gapps folder. I couldn't find the "official" nightly file though. I tried also using an ACMEInstaller 2 which was found using my ggood friend Google. Should I download the latest nightly again and boot into CWM and then flash it that way?
When I boot in CM9 I see the logo and then it loops back to the hp logo then moboot.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advanced!

I assume that you already have CWM installed via ACMEinstaller 2, just redownload the official nightly ROM here:
http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?type=nightly&device=tenderloin
Your downloaded ROM might be incomplete or corrupted, to be sure, try to check the md5sum before flashing it. You can mount your sd card straight away from CWM in the mount USB drive menu.
If you have done everything and still stuck in bootloop, try redo the whole thing from scratch.

When you say offical..You mean the latest one right?
update-cm-9-20120529-NIGHTLY-tenderloin-signed.zip <-- that one?
I also see that yours sig says V6 supercharged and beats audio.
How do I do that?

Wellbutrin would be the.0530 now and Beats Audio only works with Beats headphones and the VGA script isn't worth the trouble

Yep, always download the latest version of the rom. You can aso download goomanager in the market. That app will tell you if new rom is available.
Beats audio:

V6 Supercharger:

Make sure you do a nandroid backup (backup from recovery) before proceeding. If anything goes wrong, just restore it.
Also make sure you download the ics version of v6 supercharger.

Well, the latest recovery can be downloaded through rom manager apk. Install it from play open it and follow the instructions. The recovery from droidbasement is not the latest, but it is the only one that works with ics.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hello
im going to desagree with you, just that because my experience was diferent.
I have try the Recovery CloxkworkMod for my equipment, that was the 7500 (Download P4 (Odin; GT-P7500): recovery.tar.md5 ) and like i said earlier in the post, that went smoothly without any problems. That said, im in a stock room, dont know if it works on ICS.

I didn't say that it doesn't work. Of course it will backup your device. I just said that it is not the latest. That's different than saying it's not working.

That recovery I linked him to was the last CWM recovery for HC 3.2 roms. Its the last one that preshot did for HC, you can use later ones (the ICS ones) but from my experience their a little glitchy when you pair them with HC roms.

How to install Devil Kernel?

Let me start off by saying im a major noob when it comes to roms, kernels, and all this other stuff. Anyways, I was wondering how devil kernel works and how to install it? My phone right now is running the lastest nightly cm10 build from the cyanogenmod site.
You can install it the same way you would flash most other things- reboot into recovery, wipe cache/davlik, install zip, reboot
Im confused on which one to download.

[q] help! Stuck in bootloop!

So starting yesterday my droid dna has been stuck in a boot loop. I just bought it about 5 days ago.
It was rooted and running supercharged HTC sense rom and stock kernal.
I tried everything I could find online.
I relocked bootloader and restored rom using the RUU exe that everyone links, I re-unlocked installed the rom again to see if that would work and it allowed maybe 2 full boots out of 100+ tries occasionally it booted up and had several crashes on the supercharged that included the custom AC!D sound mod adn the UI would lock up if I tried to make or answer a call. I tried re-restoring with the RUU. all fastboot commands worked fine with no error on restoring the bootloader and recovery etc.
NOTHING is working. Please help for the love of my brand new droid dna which has already boot looped...
Have you tried just restoring from your backup? The one you made before flashing the rom
And just curious. Did you dirty flash it? What recovery are you using?
Sent from my SuperCharged DNA
You're supposed to use the kernel that's supplied with the rom, not the stock kernel.

There's a discussion in that thread about the developer including the kernel in the rom, doing that won't flash the kernel. It doesn't look like the instructions were updated to reflect that. Try Supercharged Hatka, made by the same developer along with Mustafa.
I managed to get it to boot up as stock with a 2nd relocking using fastboot oem lock and the RUU.exe. Haven't had any issues yet. I will see if anything goes wrong. Made a few calls and restored off gmail account.
Now that you got it running don't use that Rom this time, try Supercharged Hatka or Viper.

I even asked the guy in the thread if the rom is stable on stock kernal and he stated that it was. I didnt read the whole thread but I didnt see anything about a kernal included. I know some are running cubed with it. Regardless, it worked fine on my device, I went back to stock just because Im looking to try out viper or hatka

Maybe. There are so many boot.img files floating around things get mixed up and sometimes you forget what kernel you're running until you look at the About phone menu. It would be nice if they could be named appropriately.

Yours looks stock. Covxx said he put DSBs kernel in the rom but it has to be flashed separately to apply it, therefore DSBs kernel is not flashed and you remain on the stock kernel. Dsb has his name in the kernel version when you look at About Phone.

What rom are you using?
If it's a Sense based GB rom, did you grab the Sense kernel?
If it's an AOSP GB rom, did you grab the Aosp kernel?
If it's an ICS rom, it won't work.
***EDIT
Via TWRP website:
Since TWRP 2.3 is based on AOSP jelly bean sources, TWRP now uses recovery API 3 instead of 2. Some zips may no longer work if the developer is using an out-of-date update-binary.
This API change should not be a problem on newer devices, but older devices will probably encounter several zips that need to be updated.
If needed, you can try using this update-binary that was compiled with current sources.
It goes in your zip file in the META-INF/com/google/android folder. If you're getting a status error 2 during zip install, then an outdated update binary is almost certainly to blame.

Ok thank you so much! FAST response lol. Would there be another recovery that is better to use or it doesn't matter?? Currently I am using your, I believe, ICS rooted debloated ROM stock/rooted. I was on liquidsmooth aosp and cm7 thundershed switching between them to get a feel for them... But for some reason I tried to do a full wipe and then reinstall from my restore of those two roms and try the leankernal, it's saying failed after I updated to TWRP 2.4.3
**EDIT:
Where is that zip you are talking about located.. In /system or somewhere else bc I can't seem to find it?
There is a backup bug in the latest release of Twrp. Switch to 4ext and your backups may work again. Someone posted on the n7 he could restore backups in Twrp from the previous version with the version he made them with but restoring backups on the latest version couldn't restore those

Dude so far no problems with 184mhz.. Speed is no issue, no lag, no reboots, but I'll have to put it through the 24hr test to fully see how it does. And I charge my battery to 100% when installed it, approx. 4hr 41mins with pretty much none stop usage.. at 72% now. On the old kernal I would have been dead..

Flashed this last night as well and didn't even notice whether the camera app was missing as I rarely use it on a tablet. I have since flashed today's nightly and the camera app is there.
Regarding the transparent notification/nav bars, it is some unknown performance thing specific to this tab.
Anyone else notice the settings are now non-tablet-optimized? They stretch across the whole screen like on a 7" tab or phone. Feels kinda weird... only glaring thing I see out of place.
I tried a tweak to get transparent bars and is true what Google said, you can see the difference in performance, it gets worse. What I don't get is that I tried it in a i9300 too (Temasek) and it works awesome. Hope we'll see a big update for Manta when the next

Exactly opposite for me. Could not get it to flash with TWRP 2.6.3.1 but installed CWM touch 6.0.4.3 and it installed just fine. By the way, does your twrp show 2.6.3.0 when you are booted into recovery even though you downloaded and flashed the 2.6.3.1 binary?

Not sure, out and about right now, I'll take a peek when I get back home.
I flashed TWRP with Flashify. Tried flashing CM11 using CWM Touch and when it failed it wouldn't boot. So I re-flashed CM10.2, booted, DL'd and flashed latest TWRP with Flashify, then CM11 flashed fine. Didn't take note of any version aberrations.
