Did you skip android 101? Open the launcher, long press the application and drag it around where you want it.

I do have it, if I go to es file explorer and open a pdf I can read them but would rather not have to go that route.

It will only show in app drawer if the ROM has apps unhidden like my 3.6 ROM and lllboredlll's and I think Joel's
Thanks, unfortunately I'm in Afghanistan for the next four months so I can't S-off or download any roms till I get home. So I guess I'll just have to wait.

Anyone found a way to make the camera app change the file name to date when it takes pictures? I miss this from my old phone and I can combine folders with my old pictures because it keeps trying to overwrite them.

Some of my app, in the app's menu, switch pages and are opening new page every time I reboot my phone.... How can I stop it.
I assume you're using TouchWiz (the default launcher), and if you are then search the market for AppZorter. That should help

I know that there are some apps in the market that have a "toddler lock" built in. For instance, there is an app called Toddler Paint that locks all buttons on the phone until a certain sequence is pressed to unlock.
My question is this: Is there an app that would allow me to apply this principle to any app on my phone? My kids like to play games, but often hit the Home it Back buttons.

Ok I have another question. I transferred all my pics from my last phone to the DNA and they don't show up in the gallery app. They show up in quickpic though. Any wait to get them to show up there?

If you're rooted, try using file explorer to move the pictures from wherever they are to the gallery directory. Otherwise, send them to yourself and download them to the phone again.

Try clearing cache on the gallery, or restart the phone and open it.
Make sure there isn't a .nomedia file in the directory of the pictures.
If all else fails you can move them to the default picture location, and you don't have to be rooted as the guy above me seems to think.
But the default gallery app seems to be really good for me about detecting pics.

Download an app called rescan media from the play store, it'll fix your problem. :good:

I didn't say he had to be rooted, I just said that it would make the process easier. He can just as easily send himself the pictures from the other app and download them to his gallery. OP, you should try whatever suggestion you think works best.
