Has anyone found a solution to this issue, i too have been stuck in this process for quite some time :-(

All the same, trying to flash the firmware on sgh-t859. Firmware hung, rebooted - got mode Download Mode, which sees USB, recovery is not loaded, the OS is not loaded. Just buttons vol + and vol - reversed. In the hands of both models have the Samsung Galaxy tab sch-i905 and sgh-t859 (analog p7500). Analyzed the two: in different hardware (different motherboard), most other parts analgichny. I believe that after a failed firmware bootloader pytaetsya connect to another USB, which in this model there is no.

I'm currently helping someone resolve this problem. I'll post a backup when he has booted his device up
:-: A TIP FROM THE NOOB :-: All ways backup your current rom before adding root apps, modifying system/system files, flashing zip files, or installing new rom. just to be on the safe side. do it now or regret it later

hello every one,
i flashed a international galaxy player 5.0 kernel in my galaxy player 5.0 usa version, and now my competitive buttons / touch sensitive buttons doesn't work. can any one please give a link to download the galaxy player 5.0 usa version stock kernel.
or any other way that i can fix the issue.
please help ,
If you have a stock firmware you can unpack zImage and then tar it. Then, flash it with odin.
You can now use the Entropy512's kernel (just released, search on development section). Is for US version.
I'm fairly certain someone posted a stock firmware dump somewhere.
I'd psot one, but my system image was cluttered heavily by zergRush insisting on installing Busybox in addition to rooting. grrr...

I'm in the same state as you but unbrickable resurrector is the only thing that gets the screen active. I did have a handy dual boot of Linux Mint and XP to go back and forth with the software tools. Perhaps you chose the wrong option in unbrickable. It's the choice that is marked "player" and says 111 instead of 110. Sometimes you have to disconnect and reconnect the player so you don't get the fail message but it works nearly every time for me. The graphic wraps around the edge of the screen but works fine for Odin to see it. I just can't get anything dropped onto the device from Odin to work. The process succeeds but I still end up with a black brick.
Lots of info to search through, just take your time. I figure I now have to learn how to access the device from a command line to see of the partition tables are screwed and figure out how to fix that. The various PIT files and bootloaders are not doing the trick. Whether I've applied the right bootloader or not either I'm not sure of.
Unbrickable is a great tool to start with. After that I'm still learning though I know my device is going to work eventually and at least I don't have to open it and solder some pins.
Update: I got my WinXP in VirtualBox running on Linux Mint working nice to streamline the testing vs. the constant dual booting. It's worked very well. Flashing multiple files wasn't working.
-I used the Unbrickable Resurrector to get my International Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 into download mode. I got the device from Woot.com, it has the Korean country code TTT sans the hdmi or tv antenna. Physical home button so the international roms should work.
-I flashed the bootloader file by itself which was provided by AdamOutler. This brought back the Samsung logo to the screen and the device no longer communicated with Resurrector. That was fine because now I can get it into download mode with the vol down, home button combo.
-Now I believe it's on a bootloop state. I don't get anything other than the Samsung logo after trying several roms.
Update II: I realized since I had already put a 2.3.5 pit that I had to find a matching Gingerbread rom since I no longer had the original Froyo setup. I tried out the official Gingerbread release G70XXKPF and now my Android recovery boot is working again though it spits out a bunch of errors that it can't find certain things or files. Failure to mount /efs or /cache are the errors that I can see, the rest scroll past too fast. Looks like one more round should get it home.
Recently I have tried to root my Samsung Galaxy 3 7.0 (SM-T210R) WiFi edition. After unsuccessfully attempting to install a custom rom, I believe I have accidentally deleted the stock rom for the device..So now, whenever I turn the device on, it automatically brings me to CWM recovery. I have tried to install a different rom onto the device unsucessfully, giving me an error saying "format() expects 5 args, got 4" It also says (Status 7). I have also tried to connect my device to my computer and hook it up to Odin, but Odin does not recognize the device. If anybody is able to resolve my issue I would greatly appreciate it.

i think you have same problem as in this thread
anyone help me with stock rom wont boot and says use emergency recovery but i tried kies and the other software says phone unsupported
Hey have you ever figured out how to fix your phone....I had the same problem...I experimented with ODIN and I was able to successfully re-flash my Samsung Galaxy Express 3. There are some other options you need to check in ODIN to make it work...Please email me at [email protected]
I've just spent the last week messing around with a j120a. There 2 available firmwares on the net that you can download. J120AUCU1APC8 April 2016 and J120AUCU2APJ2 November 2016. There is a newer Jan 2017 but it's nowhere to be found on the net yet.
This is how I successfully installed the OEM Firmware.
1: Installed latest Samsung drivers
2: Downloaded & installed latest ODIN
3: Put phone in emergency mode (Vol down + Home + Power), then Vol up to select E-Mode
4: Run ODIN & plug your phone into the PC via a USB cable
5: Click the AP button and select your ROM(Firmware)
6: Click Start & it installs.
Possible errors & their solutions.
1: If your phone shuts off during the install process you need to swap USB ports. On a desktop use a rear USB port. DO NOT USE any extension cables or USB hubs or front USB ports. USB cable MUST be plugged directly into a rear USB port. Laptop, not sure. I never tried. Try swapping ports.
2: If while installing the firmware the install process errors then you are installing an older version of the firmware. It will not work. You must install the current version or newer. Start with J120AUCU1APC8, if it errors then try J120AUCU2APJ2. The J2 worked for me.
Note!!! J120AUCU2APJ2 comes in 2 versions the Oct. & Nov. versions. Every file I could find was the Oct. version. It is lacking a security update that the Nov. version has. Because of this the Samsung Galaxy App (Samsung App Store) will not work and you will most likely not be able to upgrade to the latest Jan. 2017 firmware via the OTA updates. It will just say you are already up to date. But your phone will function properly otherwise. Once someone uploads the Jan 2017 firmware the you can most likely use the above directions to install it.
Hope this helps.
Custom rom for j120a
Does anyone have a link to a working custom rom for this phone?
Root successful...........but at&t?
I was able to root with firmware version J120AUCS3AQE1 but because mine is an AT&T phone the bootloader is "locked and signed" meaning it's never going to unlock........? I have the latest version of firmware that came out in may 2017 and it will be available to you as soon as I can post an outside web address............ Every Recovery image that I flashed caused everything to fail and a big triangle that said AT&T detected software on your device that is not allowed on our device so I guess this one is never really your own........ but you can Root with Kingroot and supersume pro to get rid of bloatware and such but other than that no custom stuff on this one.
If Kingroot keeps freezing just restart phone and keep trying it took me a long while to obtain root.
Hi all,
Hoping someone might have some knowledge on this Chinese cheap build tablet.
Its an iRulu eXpro X1, model X10. Inside is the Allwinner A83T with 16Gb Rom and 1 Gb RAM.
This was previously with my daughter but we just upgraded her to a Sumsung Tab A, so I thought I'd play with the iRulu (bad mistake lol).
The iRulu was still running kitkat so I rooted it (Kingo Root works fine in anyone else is trying), attempted to install CWM and TWRP. Both failed, every attempt through adb / fastboot gave bootloader: secure mode fail error.
So I them decided to flash the new rom from iRulu's website - using PhoenixUSB.
All was going well, the tablet went into download mode (hold Esc button, plug USB cable in and press power button 10 times in rapid succession.) and the firmware started to download. At 80% PhoneixUSB threw a boot(0) error and stopped.
After this the tablet will not start (nothing on display) nor even show the charging icon on the screen! It does however still enter the download mode so I can try other images. So far I have tried 5 different images (including darkglow10.1_android5.1.img, A83T_N102_N1021L1BC_20151123.img) however all of then error when writing to the bootloader. I have also tried PhoenixCard to write an image in Startup mode - this gave nothing Live Suite makes no difference either, using the images I have.
Unfortunately the serial number has worn off the device so I cant be sure of the exact firmware from iRulu website to install. (I've mailed them for what its worth).
I have opened the device and the pcb is marked INET-N102-REV01 and Zeng-gc2014-12-22. Google has some stuff on it but nothing I understood
Does anyone have any thoughts? I'm concerned that the bootloader is locked / corrupt in some fashion which is stopping the download.
thanks
update: using the x1081 firmware from iRulu and PhoneixCard I have restore functionality. The device thinks its an expro x2 plus and it doesnt recognise the SD card slot (tried multiple cards) but other than that it seems okay
Will try to figure the correct firmware thou - anyone?
thanks
Having the same issue
Hello, I am having the same problems with that tablet, got it from this girl I'm seeing. It was freezing whenever it connected to the internet, I assume was a ROM issue, i flashed an incorrect recovery on it after getting frustrated. Can you please help?

I found various firmware downloads, but need to know the exact type of firmware you are running.
Example of one I found: rct6603w47m7-android6.0-v23-v2.15.80 (<-- underlined part is what matters)
If you boot into recovery, it should show you the type of firmware you have.

Had the same issue also I came across a bunch of ota test files on a Chinese site but links were dead and because no ota update is available i can't grab the ota url or file name. So ended up hitting a dead end.
Would it be possible to bypass the activation code screen with cwm or twrp? Or maybe put a different version of android on the tablet, other than marshmallow.?

I've got the RCT6603W47M7 tablet, but here in the UK it goes by the name of RCA Neptune 10.1L.
Problem is I have bricked it and I am now trying to recover it using SP Flash Tools. I have tried 2 different stock ROMs, only to have nothing but errors and interruptions during flashing. (errors 2004 and 4008). My tablet is fully charged yet it will randomly disconnect during flashing. I've tried both the MTKAllInOne.bin and DA_SWSEC.bin but I still get the same problem either way.
I've tried different USB ports, different cables and the two download agents that I just mentioned but I am stumped.
I wanted to try the ROM found here https://www.needrom.com/download/rca-rct6603w47m7/
But as I don't have a premium account I cannot access it.
Any ideas? This is very frustrating.

Thank you for your reply, I was worried that this discussion was dead. That's frustrating to say the least! Damn! Well, I don't know if this will work but I found another device that is also a MT8127 and has exactly the same spec of this tablet. My point being is that I found a TWRP image for that device, and because it's the same chip set I assume that it'll work for this device too?
If I can get my bricked tablet to even turn on I shall try it. It also makes me wonder that if we were able to root the device, would we be able to access the internal storage by normal means? By using the micro USB ? Either way it'd be great to have it rooted.
I stayed up all night last night trying to flash this tablet and still no luck, it keeps disconnecting half way through.
