There are too many ROM and so many possibilities.
Lately i have tested the Kitchen Sink ROM and loved it, but the thing that gets me the most is Stock Motorola Cam. It doesnt have it . The CM9 Cam from kitchen sink is good but its delayed alot. There are more i would like to explain but ill just leave it simple. Can you make your own ROM?

Unlike the winmo days where anyone could get a kitchen and build away, the closest thing android has to that is the aroma installer kitchen sink uses. So building a rom on android is a bit more advanced. Best bet would be getting an already credible minimal rom such as the 3.2.5 deblur/cm7 and theming/modifying it to your liking. But the fact that you asked such a broad question kinda tell me that youve got a lot of reading to do if youre plannin to undertake such a project.

I don't think you do anymore. That video was posted almost 1 1/2 years ago. I think you can do it on windows now. But honestly I truly dont know lol. Just a guess.

As current roms stand there are no AOSP roms out at the moment . But also bare in mind root status is still very new , if anything still in its infancy . Give it time and before you know it AOSP will be ready for flashing . I know cyanogenmod was ported to the Sensation already , so I dont think EVO3D will be to far off from that . Some Devs have had roms on standby waiting for root to hit but never had a device to test stability on (even though there were s-off devices running around in the wild) . Like I said give it more time , heck the development thread has already started up with kernal threads and rom threads . The fun is just now begining so kick back and enjoy the ride
I'm not trying to be rude but there's a fee threads on this already.
But yeah first I heard it would be ported and cyanogen wouldn't officially support it then I heard that toastch is working on it. So I can't wait either.

Short answer, Nope.
Longer answer...it can aid in the porting of cm7, but it won't be a direct, instant, no problem port. It will move some files for you, but you must also know which files to remove, edit, tweak, etc. before you could even begin porting it
I'm thinking a fresh new build is most likely the best option for CM. You'll have to be patient like the rest and give them time.There's a lot of time, work and testing envolved either way.
You got an answer from myn so that should keep this thread short and sweet. OP you can always go to the CM dev team and watch for any info they share.

Eclipse and liberty are just roms that you can flash onto your x2 if you have rooted your phone. If you or someone you know hasn't personally put them on your phone, then you'll have neither. It isn't something that would be on there from the manufacturer.

Also posted in my theme for Molten. He installed Molten and I guess tried to install other 2 ROMs too.

all I am trying to say is try to NOT be harsh...some things can read harsher than intended when type.
im not trying to say u didn't or that no one is trying to help out.
but it is also inevitable, that people no matter what they have read, will still need that little bit of "extra" info on "what to do now"
especially since our X2 can be picky with what you do or the process you use to do it
I really just said what I did in hope to "preempt" any "mean spirited" replies.

So im sitting here with CM7 and I have flashed a billion times different roms because bordem has set in. I know that CM9 is supposedly around the corner but can we get some new roms and or updates on current ones??
I'm thinking there are no significant updates to be made, short of the one "we"are all waiting for...

Thanks for the input. I think when I have some spare minutes i'm gonna do some research and do some hellraising. Our roms are few and far between. Maybe next phone I get is International SGS3, much more variety

REALLY?!? Nobody wants to do any groundbreaking changes when ICS is literately right around the corner. A few little updates probably wont quinch your bored thirst either. You do realize though for the Devs to come in here and read this, they can take this as a slam, right? Not a nice way to get more roms/updates.

Since you're bored, Id suggest to read up and learn how to hellraise and then try a few i9100 romes. That will both take up that bored time and also give you some new roms to play with.

Well, this is a relief, since i have seen many roms reach "FINAL RELEASE" state, i was getting worried people might be already leaving development for the little guys
