I don't know about non rooted, but if you do root (which I highly recommend), the Rom Mikvirgin still has all the languages since Mik planned to offer a GSM version in the future.

But if didnt want to root? Its for my friend, he just bought Evo 3D. Ge doesnt feel confident yet about rooting and all, but he only has Greek and English in language selection meny.
Poslato sa Eviše 3Deiše (PG86300)

Could he just run Europe RUU?

MoreLocale 2 from android market works perfect.
I've used it on an Evo 3D bought in Germany and it doesn't have to be rooted.

What ROM are you looking for? It seems stock in the picture.
its a europe version...think gsm...
Merhaba, Then get virtous ROMl in gsm section. its one very good one. You will not be dissapointed.

Is my phone cdma or gsm?

Also which is the best rom out there that everything works?
on main page it says CDMA Sprint HTC EVO 3D and HTC EVO 3D (GSM Only) how do i know which is mine?
If you use a sim card in your phone you have for gsm phone. If your on Sprint network you have cdma.
Everyone has an opinion on the best roms. I use warm 2.3 with an anthrax kernel. I love it.

[q] official ics

Hello,
I recently saw a post about official ICS but it was only for Chinese owners of EVO? Why it's not for everyone in one date but coming continuously ?
thanks
+sorry 4 my english
//**** i post it to wrong section sorry
They do a regional roll out + network specific as well
Each carrier is different. They test the software on their hardware platform with their network before they push it out to the userbase. Plus the different networks (gms or cdma).
because the chinese version is just homework of a hurrying pupil. it does not have face unlock and Gapps. And it really sucks!!!

Hey,
wich rom is the best one for the HTC EVO 3D GSM or can I install a CDMA/Sprint-Version? It have to ran stable and smooth. Can anyone help me? A Tutorial how to install it may not be bad, but I can search it by myself.
Is there already a stable Jellybean ROM?
Thanks
Sorry for my Bad English, but I'm from Germany
All I'm going to say is, if you flash a CDMA ROM and you have a gsm phone, well . You will have a expensive paper weight?????

If you would've done some research, you knew that there is only one (discontinued) MIUI rom for GSM on XDA, which is Cero's rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1906298
The original MIUI rom is housed on the MIUI website, which is over here:
http://miuiandroid.com/community/threads/3-1-11.19266/ (direct dl. link: http://files.miuiandroid.com/3.1.11/miuiandroid_shooteru_ics-3.1.11.zip)
There are some older MIUI roms, like these:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1679727
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1369526
Also, please don't ask for 'the best one', because that is completely based on your own experience.
Do you want working BlueTooth, 3D, Camera in common, camcorder, etc.
Some roms are really small and don't offer all the extras, while other roms are loaded with extras. It's completely up to you.
Oh, there was one other working MIUI rom, but that was lens_flare's (kanged?) rom. He was banned because it was a second account of an already banned user, which was banned for violating the rules.
Locked...flash and make ur own decisions.

A little bit of confusion : Evo V?

How does rooting/getting custom firmware on the V work?
I went to the store to buy a no-contract phone today, and ended up going with the Evo V. It seemed like an in-freakin-credible deal. 139$ for a 4G phone with a dual core processor? Yes puh-leeze.
Anyways, so I've had an HTC before (hero), which I rooted/firmwared up and loved it, but I can't find a specific forum for the Evo V.
I know it's identical to the Evo 3D except it has 4G capabilities + launched with different software, so what rooting guide/firmwares can I install? Do ANY that work for the 3D work for the V?
Thanks in advance.
EVO V is 3D for Virgin Mobile. I've had both and hardware is identical. Software settings slightly different. For root follow Ramjet's guide at the top of this very section. Lot of the people in EVO 3D section have EVO V now. An easy beginning step is to root with HTC method, use 4 ext recovery and flash Midnight Rom. It's configured for Virgin. Then move to S-off if you want. Or straight to it depending on your skill level. It will allow you to flash Jelly Bean ROMS.

You can root and optionally get S-OFF for an Evo V 4G with this guide.

Thanks for the heads up. I got my phone S-OFF'd pretty easy!
Now I'm wondering, what's the current state of JellyBean roms. I hear that 4.2 will have group MMS messaging that plays nice with iPhones, which I would love.
Are there any working Evo 3D 4.2 ROMs?
If not, what's a ROM that's totally working, stable, and very fast. I'm not worried about bells and whistles.

You could try dastin's CM 10.1 (Wild For The Night) or Evervolv, both of which are 4.2.1 ROM's and very stable.
If you would like more advice about ROM's we have a thread here for that.
