Hey guys,
I'm having an issue with Infamous 1.0 when trying to connect to any wifi network on my P7500. I've tried to turn off and on the wifi connection, but it just keeps cycling through "Obtaining IP address"...and doesn't get pass that point. I've never had this issue in the past with any other ROMs. I came from ICS....but I've already re-stocked and then re-rooted my tab before installing Infamous. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any ideas on this would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Hello everybody,
I've been encountering numerous WiFi problems lately.
Don't know what's the cause since everything has been working before.
I've tried flashing different roms and radio's but no luck so far.
The problem is that i cannot connect to any WiFi network (except free)
When i try to conneting:
Code:
Connecting...
Verifying...
Connnection lost...
Then i tries to reconnect, but after some tries the network get's disabled.
I've been trying for 2 days to find the problem, but no luck
Only yesterday i flashed a older rom (and the network was already configured, while i wiped to whole thing), and it connected automaticly.
Then i reflashed to another rom and ever since it doesn't work again.
I tried flashing back to the older rom, but no luck either.
radio: update-hero-radio-63.18.55.06JU_6.35.09.26-signed
rom: Elelinux-7.0.0-Hero-v1.9 (2011-04-11)
router: linksys WRT150N using WPA2
Nobody who know's what might be happening?
Could it be that it's a router problem, have you power cycled your router? or possibly change the routers wifi settings.
Yeah i tried. Also tried changing the WPA2 password.
I even tried different places like school, girlfriend's place, but no luck whatsoever.
It all worked a while back
Totally noob question here.... I upgraded to GB 1.3... Everything seems to be working well, BUT, my Wifi when turned on connects, obtains IP, but when I go to a browser, I cannot access the internet. This applies to any downloads of apps as well.... Can someone plz help me fix this issue?
Thanx
As strange as this question sounds, have you reset your router? I had major wifi issues connecting to my router after installing GB 1.3 as well, and in the end resetting my router finally allowed me to connect. (Bizarre, I know!)
Hey guys,
OK Ive got a strange problem with one of my Galaxy S3's!
It will not connect to some WIFI connections! It will say 'Obtaining IP address' then 'Failed to obtain IP address' and then loops itself doing the same thing over and over...?
I have two S3's and my other rooted device is fine. The one that has the problem is running a standard O2 4.3 rom (Un-rooted)
My rooted phone is also running 4.3.
Anyone experienced a similar problem? I have had this problem with 4 or 5 WIFI connections now, including my home one which is rather annoying! I have tried the obvious and rebooted my router, which hasn't helped!
Any advice welcomed!

I've had issues with the quality of my internet connection being checked, and then the connection being killed due to "slow internet connection", even on strong Wifi networks. Solution turned out to be to uncheck the automatic network switch in the advanced Wifi settings.

How so, when I have an identical phone sat right next to it with the same version of Android and that phone connects perfectly?
The only difference is one phone is rooted, the other is not (Both running 4.3, just different kernal number and build number)
Well wifi is a function of the kernel .
Hi everyone
Does anyone came across wifi problem like my Alcatel, I'm on android 4.4.2. I get wifi signal when I close to the router 1 meter, I can connected to wifi no problem. But if I move farther away I lost wifi connection, I don't know if the software issues or it there fix? If anyone have the lollipop for this Alcatel pop icon,I would like to flash it to see the wifi can be fix.
