Oh darn, I thought I posted this in the q& a section. Sorry about that, however it isn't in there either. When I choose windows it allows me to make another browser windows or a incognito but no menu options. At least not on my phone.
Mod, please move to the q&a section.

I'm on stock and for the life of me I cannot find it. I'll check the version and report back.

Im starting another thread - no big deal - but basically just click edit on the bottom of the post (on the old version of XDA it is on the right, not sure in the new version) and you can modify the "Message" portion. If you want to edit hte "Title" of your post/thread, then you can click "Go Advanced" on the editing window.
Hope everyone adds to the keyboard thread!

i was able to install certain apps from the market without any problems. but when i uninstall them and decided to install them back, i'm unable to. i get message in market that says that the app isnt compatible with my device... i dont get it! how can i fix this?

sorry it was late when I post this but the runny v3.3 rcmix3d is in the desire hd thread. But yeah it could be in the build prop settings but be careful with the change but im sure it has something to do with the I D of the phone in your file explorer in the sys folder you will see the buil.prop once your their you will see all the way to the bottom stuff like ro.model.= as example. I also have inspire 4g and i had this issue but when Capychimp updated his rom it was fix

hi negrobembon.. i didnt change anything in the build file. but i did install 'font changer'. and this does change the dpi. but, i changed the dpi back to normal and i still get the same issue.

I was getting same problem and it was getting annoying. I fixed it by logging into the android market on the web and tried to install an app that said not compatible. Hope that helps.

Also your market problem is very weird, try to restore and old backup from before u deleted the apps

orb i appreciate your work on xda.. but keep in mind that i put my question in the forum that i thought best. there are many forums here and many times ppl dont know where exactly to put their question or issue. honestly, i dont know the difference between q&a and general forum. to me theyre so similar that theyre the same. i thought i posted my question in the forum that i thought best. you cant ban or punish someone for posting a question in the forum that they thought was a good fit . its not theyre fault.

Free @ Getjar (www.getjar.com). An updated version has been posted which fixes the "expire" due to leap year but you can also just click back or any button but "ok" and it will still go into the app. The app will NOT show up in the list (no idea why, it runs fine) if you are running an ICS rom so you'll have to download it on froyo, gingerbread etc and backup the apk to transfer if you are on ICS.
*mods* I thought I should add this is not warez. GetJar has several "Gold Apps" which are paid apps available free through their app store.

My Nook Color running CM7 had no problem finding it using the getjar APP and going into GOLD apps. I'm not sending you the apk so you'll have to get it via normal channels.

Hey my fabulous devs out there where in the android system do i find widgets... so if i install a new rom... but dont have a few widgets i love from the stock lgog ics. So i can put them on the new rom. Thanks

Widgets are stored in the apk they are for.
So unless you downloaded just a widget (which is still an apk) they are embedded in an app.
A lot of manufacturer launchers include their own which can't be used on another launcher or ROM.
So you probably want one in the LGhome app.
If not, check which apps you no longer have.
FYI: Included stock widgets are found in /system/app/. You can download a rom to your computer, extract the widgets you want, put them on your sd card, then copy them to your current rom (putting them in /system/app/), set permissions, and finally reboot.
