The Problem was i installed ad blocker with Rom toolbox, that causes the Problem. Yes my phone is rooted! Thanks

(Question) What causes the need to fix permissions everytime I want to flash something? Everytime I go to fix permissions, it seems to take longer and longer to fix also (approx. 30-45 seconds). Also, it seems like this is always the fix in order to have successful flashing of themes/fonts/mods. Is there a resolution to this?

Anyways...Well I understand this. I am just confused as to why I continuously have 152 errors whenever i fix permissions. Doesn't seem to "fix" anything, unless i am doing something wrong. I've fixed via TE and CWM. Help is much appreciated.

So I've been running ICS alpha 2 since its been released and all of a sudden i stopped receiving text messages? Does anyone know the fix to this, i think i've tried everything except flashing a GB rom? Did anyone else have this problem is is it just me?

You didn't freeze any text apps did you?....if your using a third party app like handcent make sure its set to defult...and stock message app just leave the app alone and turn off notifications....make sure u didn't freeze anything by accident ..or uninstall the text app and reinstall....not sure bud...

Did you try an alpha 2 re flash or maybe try flashing a backup.

Thanks for the help guys, turns out my from juss happened to go bad so I went through a emence process of flashing with formatting and everything from the alpha 2 thread! Its working again thanks so much you guys, rock

I asked before and im asking again..can somebody please help me with this. Every time I restart my phone I have to wait 4-5 minutes to get it start as its always optimizing all the apps and saying Android is upgrading. How to disable this Android is Upgrading and Applications Are optimizing thing? It gets very irritating

Not on every boot.
OP: It must be a mod you installed recently that is somewhat bugged, and does that. Dunno how to stop it.

I dont wana change da custom mod,is there any way I cud disable ds android is updating thing from happening.. Some one here on xda said if u delete da TB odex file this error goes.but I cant find dat file anywhere in data/apps

I don't think there is any way to fix this, except for fixing the faulty mod.

Hello there,
You should really take a good 20 minutes and try to write your problem properly so people can understand them.
As I understand, when you tried to launch the camera application on ICS, there was a error saying "camera failed" or blackscreen. And then I think you said something about you updating to jelly bean and the error still being there, right?
If that is the case, then the first thing I would do is try to flash a custom kernel via odin and then try some custom rom and see if the problem still persists. If its still there, I recommend taking using the warranty and have them fix it, if you still have your warranty that is.

You're welcome.
You can try it if you want to. First go into the Samsung Apps and try to update it, if it doesn't work just try my way.
