PCC or SEUS.
some reports lag on video recording on ICS, I also have that, but after I watch video it's ok.
battery is ok. don't know what you mean by battery, but on latest 4.0.4 battery is ok.

No.
As long as you dont flash 2.3.2 or 2.3.3(maybe) after ics everything should be ok.

Reverb Effects On My Neo 2.3.4 are not working. i've just updated from 2.3.3 yesterday!
when using playepro (full version) and applying reverb presets like small/medium/large...room/hall or plate, it doesn't make any difference...and bass booster is also not working. Virtualizer is working good.
When It Comes To "Equalizer" App (full version) all working fine.....but when i try to select reverb ist says - "reverb audio effect unavailable.your device/firmware may not have support or you may have another audio effects application running. please contact us"
i'm not running any other music effects app, i even turned off xLoud.
i'm not sure but i remember this message doesnt come up in 2.3.3.
Any Solution?? any other whose facing the same prob? can i downgrade to 2.3.3 without rooting and bootloader unlocking? If Yess Then How?

Oh yeah, true. I forgot the issue was with 2.3.2 not, not 2.3.3....but still I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Uninstall your any third-party apps for any audio equalizer (ie equalizer). Reboot and then its back.

Did It.... No Change!!
I have Sony Xperia Neo V. The Problem Is Weird.
I have updated it to the official beta version of ICS (4.0.3).
Now days automatically lights up on its own after each interval of 2-3 seconds.
So it eats up a lot of standby battery.
What should I do?

maybe you should update your phone into official ICS 4.0.3

No. I am using simple pattern lock to lock/unloack my phone. not even any other app.
But yes i used face lock for a day or two. just to check it out!

I have already updated it to ICS 4.0.3. It worked fine for me. Just facing this kind of problem from past few days.
I had the same problem with GB, and it happened when a installed an app that was working in background (i Guess)... i uninstalled it, and the problem is gone.. Unistall the latest app that you installed and tell us
That also happens to my brothers galaxy s2 on ICS so its not isolated to sony.

I have only known apps installed, from reputed distributors. And these are those apps that i also had on GB.
But Thanks for advice. Will see any suspicious app and remove it. 'll inform you guys.
[EDIT] Problem resides. i have uninstalled all my apps.

As we remember, 4.0.3 has came with lot of problems (laggs, jerking video recording, low performence in games, battery drain). I suggest to type here what has changed in new OFFICIAL rom for xperia ray (mainly if bugs are solved).

You will not see the information on your phone. You have to use PC Companion or Bridge (for mac).

But an updates note? i've installed this firmware on my ray, but i don't know what changes to 4.0.3
I updated yesterday but didn't notice much difference. I have to admit, I didn't check video recording (I hardly use it) nor 3D gaming performance.
As a few others have pointed out, the notification LED didnt appear to work after receiving an SMS or email unless you woke up the screen.

I understand, you have official 4.0.4. Can you tell what about:
- recording video in hd (what about jerking)
- games performance
- laggs
- battery consumption
comparing to gingerbread?
ok, i have found the answer by myself on sony blog. Here it is:
4.0.4 update on Xray
Pros:
*ram usage is better.UI is much more smoother.no lagging at all.
*game performanse is better.(and when exiting the game home screen opens directly.no lagging here too)
Cons:
*Calendar widget is still not showing the next event (so What's the use of this widget?)
*Video recording still lags (playback still lags)
*Dialpad is still taking 2-3 seconds to start at first try to open.
*NO notification LIGHT when you recieve a message when screen is off.
I'm still waiting for another update. Good thing is that between first and second update to ICS it was a short time.

Phone: Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo MT15i - New in oct 2011
My frontcamera is suddenly "dead"..and gone from all menus on my Neo.
It is not possible to choose from the camera settings anywhere.
It does not work in skype, or other third party apps.
When i hit service tests with *#*#7378423#*#*, choose secondary camera it says: "the device does not support this function"
It was avail for some time in camera settings, but when i chose it, it froze the whole phone.
But as describe above, now it is all gone.
Consider it lost and just move on?
Or does anyone have some other suggestion? Software fix?
PS: I tried flashing back to gingerbread and so on.. no luck.
Considered flashing. 587 again?

I did, both rom and kernel.
No effect.
Seems like a hardware effect, but i am not sure.
Strange thing, seems like i am not alone with this, after jumping from GB to ICS on a neo mt15i
Also i un-installed cam app, and reinstalled again. No effect.
The only system apps i have frozen or un-installed by systemcleaner, are update center and update service and all Facebook apps.

Try to flash stock gb rom using flashtool.. Maybe it will start working again... Otherwise goto sony service center, its a hardware fault..

Hi all yesterday I officially updated my XU ST25i from GB 2.3.7 Build. 184 to ICS 6.1.1.B.10 Indian stock ftf but found that camera quality on this is exceptionally poor(dark and faded kind of pictures at night).
Want to ask you all is there any way this can be made as good as GB(as pictures clicked on GB are way far better than ICS)...
