If your GSM then I have no idea unfortunately. You could hit the GSM

This one is an Arabic release so not sure if this will help you out. And it's a bit old.

Flash any of the ROM's in Dev that are based on 2.17. Or just flash the base rooted 2.17 ROM.
i thought i read somewhere in one of the roms if you flash without being on 2.17 that you will get stuck in bootloop?

There is a link on the OP in meanrom thread which will guide u on how to update everything from 2.08 to 2.17 .... Just follow everything on that page n u can flash any 2.17 rom after that with no problem....
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA
You need the Freeza All In One update. This will not update you to 2.17 as that is referring to the ROM, this will update the firmware, PRI etc.

Do yourself a favor, if you are on hboot 1.5, get it downgraded using instructions in the Dev forum. Everything is so much easier on 1.4.
If your CDMA hboot 1.5 you can either find the stock recovery to flash and use the zip file that the guys just mentioned...
You could also download the 2.17 RUU exe
Wipe Relock and run the ruu you will be updated Then just unlock again pretty easy...
That RUU comes in handy if you do **** something up
Lol 1.5 is easy no issues just one extra step to flash stuff not hard and no issues.

yes if u r on hboot 1.4.... once u flash this u will have everything updated..... then u can simply flash any rom with no problem.. but if ur on hboot 1.5 this i would first downgrade it like mentioned earlier....

Can't return S-ON :/

Guys, is there anyone who has a rom.zip file of an official Honeycomb OTA update (e.g. RUU 3.55.405.1)?
I need to extract the hboot from it, and flash it over the current one (6.11.1111).
Reason why I need that is because I want to go competely stock and manually upgrade to official HC, but I can't get rid of S-OFF :/
None of the current guides can help me with that, so my only hope is to ask for help here.
Thanks in advance.

Umm, filefactory doesn't let download files with 500> MB size, unless I buy a premium account.
And those are EXE files, and I need .zip file

[Q] JellBAM, CM10.1 mods after install touch screen stops working, Noob help please?

Hello, my apologies if this problem has arisen in the past. however, after rigorously browsing the forums, I came up short.
When I install/ flash the jellybam rom or cm10.1 rom, the screen stops working except for in bootloader and twrp recovery. I heard you have to downgrade the touch panel, how do i do that?
I have;
-HBOOT 2.09
- build 3.19 and I belive everything else is up to date on the latest software.
I _think_ you need to update the touch panel drivers/firmware also, located here: http://themikmik.com/showthread.php...LE-Jewel-Radio-Collection&p=220556&viewfull=1
tp_SYN3202.img is the latest, but it says it will break touch screen in recovery and on non-stock roms if done incorrectly.
I would ask this question in captain_throwback's latest firmware thread before you install tp_SYN3202.img
I'm only pointing you in the right direction, I have NO experience with updating the touch panel .img - please ask someone who has dealt with this before you do ANYTHING (I just dont want you to break your evo!)

Cheers and Thanks!
The newest touch panel firmware doesn't work with AOSP, AOKP, 3.15 based ROMs (or lower), or older recoveries..You need to revert to the old TP firmware before flashing any ROM not based on 3.16.

As far as I know all the files are located in Capt Throwback's firmware thread. You probably need S-Off to flash them though. The new 3.16 OTA updated the touchscreen's firmware. This new update is only good with the latest TWRP and 3.16 based roms..so to flash anything on the old base or AOSP you need the old touchscreen firmware. Hope that clears it up a little.

Yes, I've finally got it to work! Thanks for all the support. All I had to do was follow dirty racun's s-off method. For some reason doing that my build number went from 3.16 to 3.15 and my band version downgraded from 1.12.11.1210 to 1.12.11.1119.

I seem to have the same problem.
I'm running the viper rom on my evo 4g. Was going to upgrade to the latest version and wanted to update firmware first.
I grabbed the latest twrp (4.2.1) installed that, rebooted.
I then grabbed the latest firmware from themikmik, installed that and rebooted.
And i then grabbed the tp_syn3202 update and installed that and rebooted
And now my touch screen does not respond to any touch input. I don't know what to do at this point since they only thing i can do is either force the phone to reboot, or go into hboot by holding down the volume down and camera keys. And all that does is ask me if i want to reinstall the tp update.
I don't know how to get into twrp to even try and install the latest rom assuming that would fix the issue.

nevermind - i got it. I didn't realize if i left the PJ75img.zip file on there it would automatically go into trying to update and not give me any other option. I deleted that file and then i was able to get into twrp and install the rom update.
Thanks

You have to downgrade your touch panel driver to the 3.15 version. Check the thread below and go to the downloads link in the first post. The touch panel driver is installed the same way you upgrade firmware, through the bootloader.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1704612
On the page with the downloads, the touch panel zip is in the second post and is labeled " tp_SYN3202.img zip". If you've forgotten how to do a firmware update, hit the top link in my sig and look for the section on firmware updates.
Seriously though, there are plenty of newer, up-to-date ROM's out there. Why would you bother with this one?

Reverting to stock Indian RUU

I was on CM 10.1...I wanted to go back to stock so I relocked my Bootloader and flashed ROM.zip from the RUU_ENRC2B_U_JB_45_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.17.707.1_Radio_3.1204.168.32_release_299722_signed.exe
But at the last step I get a 44 hboot error. I was told that I may have flashed an older RUU. I think I need 1.17.707.2 like the one that was available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2345391
Can someone help me out with this?
Anyone?
I would be very grateful if anyone could even give me their Stock backup. Please guys...in need of serious help here.

Buddy I gave you the link in pm that was shared by the OP of that post (1.17.707.2)...
So it appears that the file does not work with hboot 1.4...
I guess you will have to go back to custom ROM till hTC releases an actual RUU that supports 1.4 hboot for Indian users.
