I'm trying to repair the ESN on my Lg ax265, but when i use QPST's EFS explorer to read the NVM folder, there is no $SYS.ESN file.
Hi,
I'm new here, and I want to make a custom firmware for my LG BL40. When I extract the .kdz file, there's a dz file. When I extract this file, there are many mbn files (like apps.mbn) and 3 .bin_1/2/3 files. It's the same with the LG GM750.
But how can I extract these .mbn files and the .bin_x files?
Thank you
Felix

I Don't understand what '15. Since it wants a .bin file, you can open the .TOT file by typing "*.*" inside the File Name query and hitting Enter' means. Everything went fine except this; what does it mean by
"you can open the .TOT file by typing "*.*" inside the File Name query"
I typed "." in the file name when trying to open the .tot file but nothing happens. any help?
downgrade help from 2.3.6
uninstall and reinstall the lgpnst, the store version seemed to only be needed. found this when I searched the error about block calculations after i changed the file extension. turns out, typing the whole path with the .tot extension will get around the file type problem.
First of all, I hope this is the right section to post this thread. And as the title suggest is there any way to extract the contents of .tot files that are being used to flash LG phones to Factory State. I don't have the concerned device(LG G2) right now with me, that's why I need to extract the contents from .tot files. There is just one thread of XDA(from all the internet) that talks about the extracting contents from .tot files but it seems the procedure explained in that thread requires a device to be had and using the log file that is left by LG Flash Tool during flashing a phone.
Starting off, when LGNPST is used to image a phone, it creates a log file in C:\LG Electronics\LGNPST\Models\LOG\ For example, mine was called LS970Log_COM5.log. We are really only interested in one part of this file, located close to the bottom when the phone is actually being imaged.

See that quote, so I can't use that method. So, please some one let me know if there is an alternative.
