baseband is not unlocked... bootloader is bypassed...

overclocked custom kernels are already available... though they are still in early alpha stage (not very stable)
I have an Xperia U, obviously BL unlocked and rooted. I prefer GB to ICS for its superior battery and gaming so I installed KASSPEED ROM with the KASSPEED kernel v6.1 on it. The developer of the kernel(AWESOME ROM AND KERNEL. THANKS KRABAPPEL ) claims there is OC in that kernel upto 1.2 GHz. So could someone tell me how to OC. I have the kernel installed but SetCPU seems to register my max clock speed at 1000 MHz. Please help......
Can anyone create an overclocked kernel for kitkat roms for xperia sola?
Hello there! I want to know how I can make an OC of 2.30 GHz to my Sony Xperia Z KK Ultra with 4.4.2. I'll have to change the Kernel or ROM?? You can OC with stock kernel?:good:
Have a read of DoomKernel and PimpedKernel threads. My tow ZU will only go to 2265 with the current tables - looks like it is cpu bin dependent

it's possible?
thx

The rom needs to be ported to your device, otherwise it won't work...You have to ask the ROM Dev to port it to xperia u...Maybe he (or another dev) can help you
well first of all you need to have unlocked bootloader whereas you have locked bootloader.... second the rom you are refering to is specific to the xperia u devices... flashing it on xperia P will brick your device... and why do you even want to install xperia u rom when xperia P already have every custom rom possible from ICS to Kitkat.... flash one of those..... i prefer Kitkat because its close to perfection and can be used on daily basis... just use greenify donation app to hibernate apps and xbooster pro with multitasking profile to boost ram with right governer and io schedular..... trust me you will become a very happy man.... ps. if have any problem with bloatware just remove it...
