[Q] Domestic voice/data do anything? - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

Under mobile network, there's an option for Domestic voice and data. Just curious if they actually do anything. Tried with on and off and they work just fine. Everytime your select it though, it states that it may incur charges.
So any ideas on what it means or does?

Those are for roaming in the usa. Unchecked means you cant make calls or txt when roaming.

Try this and/or this.
Also, you could try to change your PRL to 11115, it's a business PRL and usually gets a decent signal.
these speeds only means one thing, you are under 1x instead 3g, so i think your line needs a maintenance...
Definitely call them and complain, they can't do anything about it if they don't know its bad in your area. Try asking for a 'refresh'.

Select time zone message?

Does anybody else get this from time to time? I get it every now and then when I'm both on 3G or WiFi.

Noticed that after running the root kit. Once you get root though, you can manually edit /system/etc/wifi/wifi_supplicant.conf and thrash the entry there, reboot.
I think I saw them when I first got the phone, before rooting. I assumed they were related to at&t access points.
I thought that they were att hot spot relevant too.

It could be, you may be right. Although I don't remember seeing it when I first pick my phone from att store. Either way I deleted them, and att hotspot still works. I have a backup either way. Will post if I notice some problem.

[Q] Help! I can't use my packet data connection.

I flashed a ROM called Custom Rom Ceberus V5 (S3 Edition) by Frang
but the packet data connection does not appear in status bar when I touch it and I can't connect using packet data connection.
is it the ROM's problem or there's something I need to do?
Here's the screen shot of it..

Check the accespoint names in the 2nd screenshot. Maybe the entries have be deleted. If you need to get them back, you can check online if your carrier shows them somewhere.

Hmm... Interesting. This seemed like an appealing feature. Do you know if T-Mo Wifi Calling can hand off these days? I.e., if I leave WiFi, do I lose the call?
