Not working for you either?

The gt-i9300 is the Galaxy SIII, right? That means you're on ICS. Facebook contact sync doesn't work for ICS yet. There are apps like HaxSync that do this though.

Actually on the Gnex. Custom from, but didn't work on stock, usually worked

Some ROMs incorporate it on their own, so I would just stand by for a ROM update.

I am using ICS and have been for a while. Facebook did some changes to their API and Google didn't approve, so for the most part contact sync doesn't work in ICS(unless dev made it work) as a work around I use syncmypix, not ideal, but works wonderfully. Check it out in the play store.

Any chance we'll see this incorporated into a 2.3 ROM or available separately as an .apk before we see ICS ported to SGSII?
I wouldn't doubt it, the same thing happened with the Gingerbread keyboard on 2.2. Someone just needs to get a Galaxy Nexus dump and extract it to see if it works.
bumping to ask if there has been any development on this now that the source code is out?

Using the XDA Forum app v1.5.2 on a stock rooted Epic 4G Touch, search is returning NO results, no matter what is searched for?
Is it only me that it isn't working for?

Thanks, at least I'm not alone. I can't find anywhere to report this to the devs.
Same here, using tapatalk
I don't remember seeing listed as a fix, but search is working again in the new 2.0 version of the app.
I am using the latest app .. !!
Everything is working
There's a dedicated thread for reporting issues with the xda app...

Didn't find anything. How overcome ported 10.1 HC rom to 8.9?
I don't think overcome development arent working anymore but I might be mistaking. Also remember there are tons of devices out there, most development is going to be on the most popular of those devices....

I have the liquid JB rom and need the samsung s note app to install to be able to have the use of the note as before. Is there an app to download or install the premium suit for it?
This should be in the Q&A section but the short answer is no there is not because it needs touchwiz framework
No s note will never ever work with liquid jellybean. It is tw based and liquid is aosp. The two won't work together. The closest thing u can get is g note it can be found in our pa rom op. If u want s note u have to have a touchwiz rom.

Ok so MIUI galnet is now down. ..typical as I just found out of its existence.
So what alternatives are there? The best thing about galnet was it was miui but it had all the Samsung apps and options I.e. allshare and dlna.
Are there any other MIUI Roms that offer this?

I'll check it out. Miui is super stable and fast plus it has a music touchscreen with controls. But it's just lacking allshare cast and dlna which it seems miui android are reluctant to add on ....don't know why

Consan has included links that are dead as of June/July has this Rom been killed off?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Speaking of MIUI. Is the latest MIUI on miui.us based on JB or ICS? (the non-aosp one)
Ics to my knowledge
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Yeah ICS unfortunately.
tried royglobe today the animations and theme were disgusting and very laggy. ..do not recommend it!
most critically it doesn't have the allshare cast option....
