i have xperia mini build 62.
for rooting my device i downgrade to build 42 then root my device and when i used update center to update my device to build 62(with 50KB P/S wifi speed) downloading finished in 3 min.
but i heared from others they downloaded 160MB of data for updating.
now i whant to know is my device updated correctly or no?
after update my build number returned to 62

Yes, your device is updated properly, the OTA updates are small.

My Phone (Alcatel Ot-908) in June 2012 have update from 2.2.2 to 2.3.4. Now I Have GB on my phone But in this moment in my country this phone is more popular and update is not available ( I Dont know why - Alcatem ) So i Create Recovery Backup and Send More people that they can update device to 2.3.4 but This do not work!
My Question is - why is that?

I got that yesterday too. However, today it updated no problem. The only problem I now have is no root
Hi guys i updated my rom via firmware finder but now the build number has got weird (8.0.0.046)(0DZV). is this normal? Will i get official updates on my device or i have messed up. Also now firmware finder is gone and i havent unlocked the bootloader, is there any way to install official roms?

I'm running the BLA-L29 8.0.0.142(C432), (bootloader unlocked by Huawei), version using root via the last up-to-date Magisk.
The update manager ask me to update BLA-L29 8.0.0.145(C432) and maybe more after...
Question :
What will happen If I upgrade ?
Will I loose root after upgrade, or should I just re-apply Magisk via TWRP to regain root ?
Should I update until the very last 8.x version ?

- You will have newer version, but you won't be able to go back, if you install 146 and higher. No prob, if your phone is already unlocked.
- Yes, you will lose root. EMUI 8 (up to 8.0.0.157 so far) is still rootable with magisk, but with firmware 156 patch01 and higher you have to patch ramdisk with magisk and flash this file via fastboot.

P.S. Yes, a few people received EMUI 9 via OTA, but if you need root, you shouldn't update to EMUI 9 actually.

I recived it. it downloaded automatically. it says it fix doul sim problem. some days ago i recive 1.4 GB update saying it's android 10 update. download it automatically too. i'm done wasting my network traffic. moving to crdoid
