Just buy an extra battery. I think you can get an Anker brand with the charger for like $10. Anker batteries work well. I bought 2 with the charger for like $15 shipped off ebay. I carry one in my wallet just in case.

the stock battery lasts hella long.. I can't imagine the need for an extended one.
They have an extra battery with external charger from sprint for $49.99 you have to ask for it though it is only available for direct ship to your house.

Hello!
Does anybody know where I can get a cheap battery replacement for my vibrant?
I was thinking of upgrading my phone to a galaxy S2 tmobile version but its too pricey now so:
1) Should its price go down in a couple weeks when new phones are released at CES
2) Where can I get cheap batteries for my vibrant? The current battery is barely holding charge. 7 hours on LIthium-ion, battery calibrated,juice-defender on and its dead.
+ GPS doesn't work and drains the crap out of it!
The one on samsungs site is 40 dollars Kind of a lot to beef up an old phone.
Thanks so much!
~Cheers
Jonathan
Ebay and Amazon have tons, I'm sure you can find some under $10.

Don't mind waiting for long shipping from Hong Kong then definitely eBay. 10 bucks got me 2 and a charger shipped. 3 weeks I think it took.

Always a choice -> buy 12 batteries for 9$ to last for year or buy one good quality from Seidio or Mugen Power for 40$ and last for a year. What is better do you think? For Vibrant check this [HLI-Si9000SL ]

I bought this as well and my battery life has drastically increased! Running v11 with Easy Battery Saver. Light to moderate use, no autosync, just a little bit of wifi and bluetooth. Running over 1 day now still at 39%, usually I'd have to rush to charge after 12 hours.

Probably not fake capacity. Look at the size of it. Fake would be 4000mAh in a standar size, but not something like this. My friend had simmilar bat some time ago for HTC G1 and that battery realy last longer.

Yup, Mugen is the best. That is why they can charge $90. Fake counterfeit batteries are usually in the $10-$15 range. These are quality batteries. If you want quality then this is the one to go for.

Anker makes great batteries. I work in batteries and we tested some Anker batteries on our Cadex 7400er and they are everything they claim. The cheap ebay extended batteries usually have less capacity than a stock battery.

Is there an official Note 3 battery that we can buy yet? I feel like before the Note 2 was released there were already extra official battery kits you could purchase, but I don't seem to see those options available for the Note 3 yet.
Ive been looking and waiting also. haven't seen anything yet.
I will pick up the official Samsung external charger and spare battery kit once it's available. Most likely direct from Samsung. The note 2 spare and charger was only 25.00 during launch week. Hopefully they have a half off promotion for the Note 3 also.

I already bought the OTG and the MHL 2.0 cables from Samsung in preparation. The code rv18623 got me 50% off (I think for any products less than $50) and it should still work if you want to grab some stuff half off before the batteries are available.
In the past when I have registered Samsung devices I always got a 50% off code for accessories in the Samsung store under $50 and the battery w/ charger falls into that. Hopefully they will release the accessories soon.

judging by this, I wouldn't go hyperion that's for sure:
I have a 5000mah hyperion battery for my galaxy note, and I ripped off the label and it says "1500mah" directly on the battery... further peeling of the sticker shows what appears to be 3x1500mah batteries under the shell.. so 4500mah on a 5000mah advertised battery.
I'll post pictures later but it says:

I always buy generic extra batteries for all my phone. Not one has ever failed me. Even the $5 ones from china. I would never pay $15 for an aftermarket battery. Give it 2 weeks after Oct 4th and you will be able to buy 2 aftermarket batteries and a charger for $20.

I wouldn't risk my life buying such batteries.
Since I put the phone on my shirt pocket, I will die immediately if the phone explodes.
I've had cheap batteries from China before. They never last as long as advertised. When I was getting a full day out of my note, I was getting 5 hours out of the knock off batteries that claimed to be bigger then the oem battery.

the issue is not so much as cheap batteries, but the lack of NFC on the cheap batteries.
Samsung's site has no listings for anything of value beyond GG and S-View covers, no batteries, no cases, no nothing.

The Anker battery seems way to expensive than the past batteries I bought from them for some reason or maybe I'm used to their bundle. 2 batteries and 1 charger for $30 or something like that.
I'm not going for the anker for four reasons:
1. They're made in China, and the Samsung ones are usually Korea (still trying to exhange my Note III for a Korean Model
2. They're uglier than the OEM ones (I carry these in my pocket and swap daily throughout the day, I want them to look decent)
3. They don't include a carrying case (my Note II batteries did, which helps protect the moisture warranty-void stickers from getting wet, which happened to my S3 batteries without the cases (I carry contact cases in the same pocket as batteries at work)
4. They don't have the option to come with that super cool portable battery charger from Samsung or something equivalent. God that looks awesome for on-the-go charging!
SO Samsung, PLEASE RELEASE THE KRAKEN... err.. Batteries. Release the damn batteries already. and soon :fingers-crossed:
