I saw some videos 3d MOTOBLUR carried the Razr at the Milestone 2, anyone know if they will carry for the Atrix?
What....?/
Razr and milestone3 motoblur is much better than atrix motoblur.. Very fast and smooth even using live wallpaper....
Why that? Is a new motoblur version??? Is the cpu of these models better than tegra2???
Is it possible to port to our atrix?
Been asked many times without an answer. If the op could provide the video link of milestone2 running razr u.i , we can track and manybe find an answer.
Right now I am stuck and not sure which phone I should keep and use.
I have a motorola X2 Running Eclipse 2.1 v6 SuperCharger and CDMA Speed Hack
-This phone is fast and amazing I think, very nice.
I just got a Motorola Droid 3 in Mint Condition.
-Should I start modding this phone instead?
Which phone should I keep and work on, and which one should I get rid of?
Yes start modding the Motorala and use it for 1 week, you will be able to compare which one is the best for you
One reply, that is all I got so far? No one has an opinion on what phone is better the Droid 3 or the droid x2. Is there one that is faster then the other?
Besides the keyboard does the 3 have any benefits the x2 does not?
Hi i'm an Acer Liquid E user. I want to buy a new phone, and this has a fantastic hardware (razr maxx). For me it's important that there is a big community around the phone, what about this community? Another question: i'm italian, the american roms work in a european Razr? Thanks Sorry for my english!
I don't like European, but I'll answer you
There's an nice community around the RazR. I think it's not the biggest one, but it's an likely one.
Yes, you can run CDMA Roms on the RazR. Just follow the Threads to be sure they're compatible with the GSM Patch we use. Although you can have a look into J.Y.Daddys Thread. It's realy nice to have him in the GSM Section
The RazR is an great Device and our hope is, that Kholk gets the Bootloader bypassed.
For more information about that have a look @ Eternityproject.eu.
I hope I could help you out a lil'bit.

Hi!
I actually got a Motorola razr and i was wondering to buy the razr maxx for his enhanced battery (because mine just can be used 1 day or less).
My question is: Do we have any chance to get fully working custom rom on our GSM razr Xt 910? We all need a good custom rom for speed and battery life.
If we can get this rom's soon i will buy the razr maxx and if we can't i'm thinking about buying the HTC one X who probably had more chance to get more roms (even if he his uglier than the razr....)
My razr is boring and i can't use unstable rom for my daily use...
Thanks for your answers!
If the Razr is boring to you, the Maxx will be too. The One series to me though is both boring and lame due to no sd card slot.
The Incredible 4g is better by default since same hardware AND a card slot
Not sure what the GSM version will be called.
The Razr and Razr Maxx run on the exact same hardware, save for the battery, so any ROMs that work on the Razr will work on the Maxx and vice versa.
With that said, I have a Maxx and love it. I'm running ICS-based MIUI with pajn's internal/external SD card switch (because the MIUI port currently does not see external SD). I highly recommend it, it's extremely smooth and the battery life is good.
I have the RAZR Maxx. I'm running the ICS leak. I'm really loving it! Once you get ICS hopefully you'll fall in love again.
Thanks for you answers.
I'v read somwhere that the reason we have got no custom rom is because the bootloader is locked. Have we a chance that they will unlock it?
I'v seen that for USA /at&AT XT 912 there's more custom roms.
My XT910 need patched Roms that has some problems :"(h/w accel, camcorder still not work.)"... I'v already tried some but i'm not satisfied.
I like to try different custom rom's but actually, i'm hungry....
I was wondering if, soon, we can get more customs rom with customs kernel's, optimisations ect....
Thanks for reading ;-)
Hi guys
I currently have a SGSII t989 and I love it except for little things I noticed, one is this behaviour [1], I'm planning selling it to buy another cellphone with similar specs. What I'm looking for is:
- 1.2 GHz processor or more
- 1GB RAM
- TV output (via MHL or dedicated port)
- [Desireable] Removable battery (I know Droid Razr doesn't have it)
- MicroSD slot
- Screen range: 4.3" - 4.5"
- Good ROM's support
- Price range: US 250 - US 300
I'm considering buy one between Motorola Droid Razr, SGSII i777 (AT&T's) and HTC Rezound and want to know your thoughts being Droid Razr owners. I have some questions for you:
- Is this device bootloader locked? (I had a Defy and it had that issue)
- Is the non-removable battery an issue for you?
- Have you tried GTA Vice City? In my T989 it doesn't work apparently because of processor-chipset combination. I want to use the most of games that the device can support and this is one of my favorites games
- Will you recommend this phone?
- If you use CM 10.1, does HDMI out working?
Thanks in advance

- BL was locked, but no need to worried about that.
- Not an issue actually,if you buy a RAZR MAXX,you can use for more than 4 days with D-WIZ ROM.
- Almost every game works.I tried GTA,Real Race,MASS EFFECT,Tample run,doodle jump,Angry brids,Fruit ninjia,they all works perfectly.
- It's a great phone.
- HDMI seems not working with CM10.1,but you can use both STOCK SYSTEM and CM10.1.No need to be worried.

Hi 我顶你个肺隔膜,
i have even the opportunity to by an razr droid.
Actually i use my HD2 since 4 years nearly. There was a very huge dev community. And i got everything to configure.
Now my question:
Is there a rom without the motorola implemented stuff, like a pure android rom without modifications of motorola, which runs stable?
(On HD2 i had 100s roms but only some roms worked without problems and with all functions and features.)
Go for iut

For the specs you need. I'd suggest it a go..You can buy it and won't face a problem.
As for your questions,
Yes.! The BL is locked but that ain't an issue for me.
Non-removable battery doesn't cause any problems.
Yes.! And it works..so does most of the games.
Already answered.
CM 10.1 is in development state right now so many things might not work. You gotta wait for a stable build.

Thanks, i bought it as used today. At weekend i'll try a AOKP Version.
I would have upgraded to something newer or better at this point in the game.

Hey Guys, not to thread-jack, but I've also been considering the Droid RAZR and, like OP, had some questions so I thought I'd just post them here.
I was wondering if there are any general hardware problems with the phone. For example, I used to have the T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant, and it had a hardware bug where the GPS basically never got a solid lock, I also had a Motorola Defy, and I heard some people had problems with the earpiece sound quality, although mine didn't have that problem. So I guess my question is, are there any flaws in the design of the phone that can't be fixed by software?
Also, how do AOSP-based ROMs run on it? I saw that CM10.1 has a couple bugs, of which the random reboots is the only one that worries me (though I'm sure the devs are hard at work on it!) but is there another version of CM, like CM10 (ICS) that runs better? Are the reboots actually often?
Finally, is anyone here using the XT910 on AT&T? if so, is it detected by AT&T's system as a smartphone? I'm using a Lumia 710 right now that doesn't get detected, so I'm not being forced into getting a data plan, and I'd like to stay that way .
Thanks a lot in advance!, and sorry for the noobish questions, I'm still relatively new to the Motorola scene.
PS: Is there any reason why I shouldn't consider the RAZR? I'm just trying to get the best bang-for-buck that works with AT&T 3G without requiring a data plan, so top-notch performance isn't really my goal.
phantomsniper773, your questions are more than welcome in this thread, it can help me too for choose my next cellphone (already sold the S2 Hercules). Right now I'm thinking more in HTC Rezound that in Razr because of few reviews and the battery thing, I think that eventually in some time (1-2 years) the battery become useless and there will be no replace (worst scenario) and I'll have to sell the phone for a very low price

Ah, well I can't speak for the Rezound myself, but a friend of mine had it and hated it (he exchanged it for a Galaxy Nexus). He said it had really choppy performance and felt too bloated, even with a Custom Sense-based ROM. Of course, this was before they had S-OFF and AOSP ROMs, so I'm sure a lot has changed since then. I just thought I'd mention it.
