I just got my S3 pebble blue two days ago. The first day, the screen was brilliant and nice but during the second day, my screen suddenly turn a bit yellowish. It is the yellow tint issue!
I saw someone in S2 forum able to solve their yellow tint issue by upgrade the firmware. Is it correct? Or I going to have a replacement at samsung service center?

This morning when I woke up
I realized there are some horizontal grey lines on my phone screen
Then I was outside jogging
I noticed the lines are gone
When I back to my room
I put my phone right under the air conditioner
After 15 minutes
When I pick up my phone
Those lines are there again..!
I bring my phone to my living room
My living room is without air conditioner
After 15 minutes I watched the lines are disappearing
I was so curious
Then I again... Put my phone under the air conditioner in my room
Those lines are back!
After this experiment
I assumed the temperature cause these grey lines on the screen
Is anyone also have the same experience?
Facts:
* even without *#0*# the lines are quite visible
*I lived in jakarta, indonesia my AC is set at 25C
*Outside my room without A I reckon about 32-35C
*stock kj2 with speedmod kernel
I'll wait if those lines keep coming back
Then have to visit samsung service center and the them about this.
Pics would be helpful ... because the early batches of SGS2 had the Yellow spots/Line issues!
i had that issue too. when i flashed MIUI rom and i could see horizontal grey lines on the white notification bar... so i did some research and its the hardware issue.. sometimes flashing a new rom goes a way but comes back randomly..
It is hardware issue
Just bring it to service center
They replace the whole screen for you

Apparently not.
Don't worry, I had the same problem. It happens when it's pretty cold outside. However the problem just dissapeared..
I had the same issue on my 26" led monitor, Galaxy S, Galaxy S II which bought in May and newer Galaxy S II which bought in November too. My room is 22C and outside is -8C.
Is this be a screen virus Its more noticeable on purple and grey colors. Android 4 uses grey colors and my CM9 looks bad.

Hello, please forgive me if i make a new thread about bleeding. Searching it a while ago and cant find any answer about that. No its not about bleeding when screen on. Its about bleeding when screen off!
Its been 2 months since i got this amazing phone. Through this forum i learn to flash both custom rom and kernel and all work well.
Few days ago, my friend talk about yellow tint and bleeding screen.
Used *#0*# to test it then I used Receiver (white) to test yellow tint and vibration (black) to test bleeding screen. Glad i dont see any sign that my friend told me.
Then last night right before i go to bed (dark room), i charge my phone (i always turn off my phone when im sleep) i see a black spot at the edge of my phone screen (around battery image).
Any1 know what it is and how to remove it?
Or its a lcd issue and i much replace it with a new lcd?
Is that "black spot" effect my phone performance.
Im afraid it getting worst.
Thanks and sorry for bad english
hello guys... i was going to buy samsung galaxy s2 phone when i heared about the yellow tint and the camera pink spot issue...
i was wondering about the severity of this issue and DOES IT APPEAR OVER TIME OR JUST FROM THE DAY OF PURCHASE ??
thx every one i really need ur help
Might depend on the phone mine has a horrible green tint when you look at the phone from an angle or have it in lower brightness. My friends is perfectly fine. Id assume you will be able to notice both straight away.
There is a very long thread about this which might help you. Try searching for it.
It appears on purchase.

Hello,
After 6 months I'm getting a huge yellow tint on the left side of the screen.
I know this is a normal problem with the phone, but I've got it on steroids.
Even my white clock widget is really yellow on one side.
I've tried flashing different roms etc but nothing works..
Do you think that if I go to a support center, will they change my phone with a new one or just send it to repair?
After 6 months they wont supply you with a new phone it will be off to the repair centre. Where it will probably come back "fixed"
Ricey
update to the latest 2.3.6 rom, it solved the problem in mine.
take it to the repair centre to change your screen unless it's a software issue
So recently I've been having a weird light yellow color line on the screen, it only appears when in a white background but disappears immediately in black or grey background. It really isn't a serious issue, but during white backgrounds it really stands out in an annoying way. The issue came a few weeks back, but I've no idea what's causing it. I could try returning it for warranty but I don't have a backup phone available
My phone is an Honor 7, EMUI version is 4.0.3 and the android version is 6.0. The phone is about an year old, haven't had any issues before
Thanks for the help
it looks like a display issue , better to replacement under warranty
