I have the same bug, but it's in the nightly. Get used to this bug, because it's exactly how battery drain issues began on the GN

Actually upon looking into it further it is the governor not lowering the CPU clock when sleeping

maybe calibrate solves to you
Tried twice.
The best fix is this:
Download SetCPU and change governor to hotplug.

Two questions:
1) How did you identify that it was a governor issue?
2) Why would changing the governor to hotplug fix the issue?

Hi,
I got Alien #3 ROM with faux123 1.1GHZ OC kernel.
Now the only thing i need to do is install SetCPU and set the max to 1100\minimum to 216 and check the "Set on boot" checkbox ?
Thanks.
Don't set on boot int'l you're sure its stable
Sent from my GT-P1000 using Tapatalk
1100/216 is perfectly stable. Very mild OC and the one everyone is using. If you are going to play with undervolting, or in the future are going to OC the CPU more as the ability to do so arises, then you will definitely want to ensure stability before setting anything to set on boot.
Is that profile good and should i add more ?

What are some good volatages to use for undervolting?

Start with -50 across the board then push it if its stable. Lower speeds.can.bbtake more. Note 100 is the most it will handle currently

Hi,
I bought a new Atrix from Personal Argentina. Ever since I bought it and change it to CM the battery drains as 3% or more per hour when the phone is idle (no data or wifi on, neither screen). I changed to Neutrino 2.2 EE rom as it is supposed to be optimized for battery life and the issue still persists.
I tried to check if some up was running in background using high CPU with WatchDog but I didn't find anything.
I also tried the process these guy describes on the first thread but my Atrix already measures around 4200 mAh http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1198333
Not sure what to do next.. Maybe change the radio, but I am not sure which one should I use for Personal Argentina.
Please Advice
Just changing ROMs is not enough, you'll have to experiment with different Kernel, ROM and Basebands (radios) until you find the best combo.
For me Wetdream 1.4.3 ROM, FAUX 1Ghz Kernel and 77.36P radio seem to do the trick. (see screenie)

????????????????????? ANYBODY
You should just try setting some profiles to see what you like. I don't get too crazy with profiles... I will undervolt for charging and screen off but that's about it.

Also I have a screen shot of my phone.
I was wondering F someone could help me. Is there a good kernel I could install or something I can do please help.

Looks like your screen is eating a lot of battery.
Try reducing the brightness to minimum.
Also the OS on your phone takes some time to set itself up so wait a days or two and then check it again.
Also there have already been many threads adressing the same issue, starting a new thread without searching is not a healthy habit.

I can highly recommend greenify (when you have root access). It can solve a lot of battery drain problems, due to stopping unwanted backup processes from running.
I shutdown/sleep the cores when Im not using some high resources apps, but when I turn them back on, only 1 is working and the rest are still idle. And I've to restart the phone to make them back to normal. It looks like this

Can someone tell me why and a way to solve this problem without restarting my phone?
Im using stock kernal with MIUI V5 ROM, the apps I use to tweak my phone is Kernel Turner.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Why are you using this app? The kernel governor does this by default anyway. This app will just cause you problems.
If you use a kernel like Devil with Devil tools, or Set CPU.... you can tweak under what load the cores come up or go down. You don't need this app.
Mostly because the phone is draining battery very fast. So I decide to shutdown the cores myself. I didn't knew it would cause me so much problems
