Hi.
I've rooted my A70s with chulri's kernel and it seems to work ok.
My next goal is to get more app room ... so I guess I need to resize the app/data partition.
I've thought that having my internal storage formatted on ext4, it would be possible to ln the /data folder to /storage/data without problems, but then I should create a boot script for that. The question is... can I do this with my current root status? What would be the way to do it? I'm don't know enough of linux os to make it on my own.
If the system can't be fooled with a ln, then is there any way to resize the data partition, even if I have to backup/restore my current data?
I don't want to use Urukdroid, since all the versions I tried were very unstable on my machine.
Cheers!!

Follow chulri's method, or repartition your internal storage in Linux, mount it on the archos, and copy the data there. Then edit init.rc and change the data mount line. If it gets mounted in the kernel, you'll have to umount it first to remount it to the other partition.
hi, i got a problem here. i was wiping my data and system and i accidentally format /emmc . now i couldn't do anything. i cant mount usb storage also.
i got E:unable to open ums lunfile. tried mount sd card also cant.
pls help me!
Re-flash the ROM or restore that is if you made any backups, you don't have to wipe your data this will solve the problem.
Hi,
I just installed the Phantom Kernel on my Sony Xperia Go and noticed that I forgot to (stupid as I am) backup my data.
The only thing that is quite usefull on this phone is my huge pile of sms.
Is it possible to recover the mmsms.db file somehow?
I managed to recover a lot of files from /storage/sdcard with O&O Recovery on Windows (Ontrack Easy recovery does the trick also very well).
The main problem now is that I'm not able to mount /data on my pc to get the tool to recognise it as a drive.
Years ago I had a problem with a failed hard disk, created and mounted the image in windows and were able to recover files out of it.
Do you think it might be possible it this case? I know that there is a difference between a failed magnetic disk and a flash memory but I'm just asking
Right now I'm creating an image of /dev/block/mmcblk0p11 and hope to get something out of it....
Any ideas?
Edit: ok I forgot, the image I once created from a demaged disk was made with Acronis Disk Director wich was able to mount it afterwards. I can't find anything to mount the android ext4 image in windows 7.
Hi everybody,
I want to access the data partition from windows like you can acces the internal card? How is that possible?
I want to delete and write data on it; what is the easiest way to do that?
Cheers
I can mount the second partition on my SD card in the terminal, however it's only visible to root.
How can I mount it so any app can see the data? Surely this must go been hooked on KK already and I just can't find it.
Anyone?
Many thanks.
