No indication of activated Wifi, GPS, G2/G3
Hi,
I use a Samsung Galaxy S, installed F1 Galaxy Nexus Build 5 (03-06-12):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1628028
and use since a couple of days. I can activate Wifi, GPS, choose G2, but none of these are indicated in the top status bar (where I see time, battery, signal strength, new mail indication).
Any help appreciated.

Im on Samsung Omnia 7 and my phone have issues with incoming calls. I get silence when i answer. And my friend just bought Samsung Galaxy SII and he have the same problem. It only happens when you use a specefic carrier and it only happens when your in a weak signal area.
Also notecing a lot of internet connection, bandwith changing. Its all over the place all the time. Edge, 3g, 3g+ .. i belive on Android it says HSPA and HSPA +. But it seems its the sma problems with all Samsung devices thats new.

Are your APN settings correct? If not you could use an app called Tweakker its free on the market and it sends you the correct Internet settings. Worked for me every time.

Dears,
I usually use Wi-Fi direct to move large files between a Galaxy Note II and a Galaxy S II.
It works fine erphones alive but, about 60 seconds after the screen goes off transfert is aborted.
How can I avoid this?
I'm on stock ROMs and kernels on both phones, rooted.
Thanks a lot.
Check keep wifi on standby from advanced settings

Hi
Today I realized that my GPS isn't working. My phone is samsung galaxy s3 mini (gt-i8190). i think it is because of gps conference. I found it in a diffuculty and i put it here:
NTP_SERVER=tr.pool.ntp.***org
XTRA_SERVER_1=***htp:/***xtra1.gpsonextra.***net/xtra.bin
SUPL_PORT=7276
XTRA_SERVER_3=***htp:/***xtra3.gpsonextra.***net/xtra.bin
SUPL_HOST=supl.google.***com
XTRA_SERVER_2=***htp:/***xtra2.gpsonextra.***net/xtra.bin
note that i put three asterisks and i wrote "htp:/" because the system warned me "you are a new user u can't put outside links"
i just want to know where the hell am I via gps. but the gps circle on the notif bar is winking consistently. i tried almost everything such as Faster fix, gps aids, gps doctor, gps surgeon etc but no success. :crying:
If you are able to help please dont stop, post a reply.
solved by flashing fckin stock kernel
