[Q] I-905 LTE tab recovery issues - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok guess im almost to the point of offering a reward for help getting this straightened out for me...
I have a US Cellular branded LTE Tab 10.1 running 3.2
I rooted the tab and flashed the wrong CWM via rom manager.
I have gone back and flashed about every recovery i could find that claims to fix my issue or claims to be the correct version for a LTE tab.
with each flash via odin i get one of the two issues..
1) rolling recovery
2) black recovery (nothing there)
The model of my tab is SCH-I905
I considered flashing the stock odin file for the Verizon tab but im afraid that might mess something up due to this one being a US Cellular tab.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

[Q] New to Galaxy Tab/Samsung - question regarding recovery

So I've usually only dealt with the rooting/romming scene for Motorola, and I need some help.
I bought a Galaxy Tab P7510 WIFI only off Craigslist. It's the Google I/O version. It was sold to me as a Galaxy Tab 2, but now I'm under the impression that the P7510 is a Galaxy Tab 1 (which I have no problem with).
- It came with what I believe was CM10 installed.
- After seeing that the Tab 2 had the JB OTA released I downloaded the applicable firmware (based on P7510) and used Mobil Odin Pro to get back to stock (thinking I would be able to OTA to JB still thinking this was a Tab 2).
- I managed to get that far and get to stock so at this point I looked for the OTA in system updates and finally realized hey this isn't a Tab 2 because ICS says up to date, so now I want to go back to JB, but maybe in the form of SlimBean.
- I downloaded CWM to flash custom recovery, used Odin via PC and flashed. All went well and I got the green "Pass".
- So at this point I know I'm close, I just need to boot into recovery, do my wipes, and flash the SlimBean zip and I'm done. But the problem is the Tab won't boot into recovery. I tried power + volume up, i tried power + volume down, i tried power + both volumes but I get nothing. Is this a common easily dealt with issue? Everything on the Tab is stock, rooted, with CWM supposedly flashed, but I just can't boot into recovery...
I'm surprised I got this far without asking for help, but at this point anything is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I heard that odin can restore samsung devices I just dont know how to get the firmware for my tablet I looked everywhere and what to do. If someone could please help me it would be most appreciated the device was on jellybean 4.2.1 I believe.

[Q] roms for gs2 sghi757 and cwm recovery problems

i really want to get pacman rom for my samsung galaxy s2 sgh i757 (bell version) but i can't find the file of the rom to download... the closest version i could find is for the i777. is it okay if i flash that onto my phone? or will it magically turn my phone to a paperweight. and also my samsung can never get into recovery mode. EVER. even if i use a app to reboot into recovery. and i'm pretty sure i did everything correct except for the fact that i think i need to update but rom manager says my device isn't supported. thanks for helping out a newb! help much appreciated.
If you flash a ROM meant for another device, you will brick your device. Never do this. Ever.

Soft-Bricked GT-P7500V, no stock firmware available

So I am trying to repair someones Galaxy Tab 10.1, this one came from Videotron, a provider in Quebec Canada. Unfortunately I cannot for the life of me find the stock firmware for it. I've tried several others in the GT-P7500 range but I just get stuck on boot.
The complete model is P7500W4VTR (not one google result).
Does anyone have any idea what I can flash to this thing that won't result in a soft-brick?
Thanks
If you don't want to go back to stock, maybe you can flash twrp and install CM? If successful, your phone will revive as well.

restoring samsung galaxy III i747 to factory rom after getting crdroid working

so I eneded up installing crdroid successfully on an old S III i747 i had lying around following
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-can-i747-m-compiled-by-alexenferman.4021787/ and about a hundred different threads on the internet but I got there and it worked but t-mobile wifi calling wouldnt so i put it aside. now att is offering a crazy deal to swap almost any samsung phone including the S III for an S22. so now i'm interested in returning it to stock rom. I thought it would be much easier , using odin and a factory rom but every time i use odin it starts to init the flash and they promptly stops. hard to tell whats wrong. i suspect some of the many things I had to do to get crdroid on there is making it sad. any thoughts on getting this back to factory would be appreciated.
right now i have both TWRP and CRDROID installed and its still working fine. i dont know if the newer kernel/filesystem crdroid is using is confusing odin version that is expecting much older kernel and layout. i THOUGHT odin would ignore all that but at this point I can't tell what odin is annoyed at. from what i can tell the error I'm getting can be caused by any number of things.
i can mount my phone in windows explorer so I think all the drivers and usb stuff is working.
some notes about my current state:
crdroidAndroid-7.1.2-20200102-d2att-v3.8.9, android 7.1.2, kernel 3.4.112
tried using odin 3.04 and 3.13.3, using I747UCDLK3_I747ATTDLK3_ATT
odin log shows
checking md5 successfully
firmware update start...
aboot.mbn
NAND Write Start!!
Complete(Write) operation failed.
and on the phone download interface
SW REV CHECK FAIL : FUSED 3 > BINAARY 0
i got this sorted. turns out i had version NJ1 last installed so thats what modem/bootloader etc were at.
since I had TWRP installed I found stock files with root here
Rooted UCUFNJ2 Stock ROM
The development for the AT&T I747 has been discontinued by the developer. Thank you for your support. STOCK NJ2 Thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-att/development/rom-d2att-ucufnj2-stock-rom-deodex-t3183267 Stock rooted...
forum.xda-developers.com
i was able to install the UCUFNJ1 file over the garbage i had. i then proceeded to wipe everything i could. i thought it was hanging on boot but i think i was just impatient. after 4 spins the att logo stops but its continuing to start fresh. not realizing this i ended up installing the stock recovery from TWRP so I could do a stock wipe. I was planning on doing this anyway. After that and after waiting long enough device booted to stock , i even tested it with my tmobile sim and confirmed i was talking to the network. after that wiped it again. the download boot still shows custom/warrenty bit 1. i started trying to good with triangle away but most posts still say it wont fix that in knox firmwares and I suspect att will be throwing this in the trash anyway. hopefully the drones that are paid to issue refunds for the new samsung which claims you can send in a galaxy SIII for wont care as long as it boots stock and works. guess we'll see. i know it was a long time ago but i cant thank enewman17 enough. all his work and files are still hosted here and enabled me to get this done. i hope whereever he is he's having a great day.
