1. has anyone tried this type before,
2. is it worth the £7,
the coloured screen is just to show the fitment the actual product is clear.
Why screen protector ?
In past I used screen protector. When I did take off it, then I was very surprised how much screen protector degrades quality of screen at my Touch HD. I bought Touch HD for his briliant screen. Please don't use screen protector it is not necessary, especially if you use fingers only and not stylus. After 3 months usage w/o screen protector I can say that touch's screen is enough resistant for daily use.
I got my clearprotector today. i bought the full body protector and just applied it.
Result: I tore the body protector off right away....cant do this to my blackstone...everywhere you look you see where one protector ends and the other starts etc...nothing for me, as i like the original look of the blackstone ;-)
but as you just asked about the screenprotector, I have to say it's really nice and definitely worth the money. Its very clear and very accurate, not like the original one from htc. the only thing you have to get used to is that sliding on the screen with your finger is a bit more difficult since the protector is a bit sticky due to its rubber surface.
All in all, I cant recommend the body protector, but the screen protector is the best i saw up to now.
I'm looking for a screen protector with anti-glare if possible, what is the best one to buy?
Was going to suggest Skinomi, then saw you need anti glare. I never found one I liked with "ant glare", and I don't know of any for the View/Flyer. Sorry =/
If anti-glare becomes too difficult to find, then I highly suggest the Skinomi. I have it on 3 of my tablets currently, and have tried multiple different companies protectors including whatever Sprint sells, BestSkinEver, Zagg, Bodyguardz and a bunch of generic ebay screen protectors. After trying all the other brands, the Skinomi is my favorite and all I'll use on any touchscreen device now.
Don't know about "best", but I quite like the Skinomi (wet apply) protector on my Flyer as well.

I have Bodyguardz on my phone, which is also a good protector. They didn't make protectors for the Flyer, when the tablet when the first came out (why I decided to try Skinomi) but now they do. They have anti-glare, but its backordered:

I use this one
http://shop.brando.com/brando-works...otector-htc-flyer-p510e-_p05871c1315d039.html
You're ordering from Hong Kong, so it takes a while, and the credit card hassle with overseas orders. But really high quality.
I am currently using this one from Amazon. The only thing is you have to use a hole punch to create the hole for the front camera. Other than that, it is a great screen protector that is matte.
Forum wont let me post links yet, so search for Great Shield Ultra Anti Glare screen protector for HTC Flyer.
Official htc screen protectors are £5 ($8) on amazon uk, they're great.
Any of these work better with the pen?
It's not anti-glare, but I have this screen protector, and it's fantastic. Perfect size with cut outs where they're needed. Very easy to apply as well. I use the Scribe daily, and this screen protector works great with it.
GreatShield Ultra Smooth Clear Screen Protector Film for HTC Flyer / Sprint EVO View 4G
I tried an anti-glare screen protector when I first received my View, but the graininess was much too distracting for what I primarily use it for - reading. On phones, I generally don't have a problem with the graininess that anti-glare screen protectors add. But that's probably because I'm not staring at my phone and reading for hours at a time. The size difference in the screen also makes it more pronounced. I'll put up with having to wipe finger prints off and making adjustments to avoid glare to have a better overall experience. This is the anti-glare screen protector that I used - HHI HTC EVO View 4G Anti-Fingerprint, Anti-Glare, Matte Finishing Screen Protector. It did the job quite well, but it just wasn't for me on a screen this size.
I'm considering buying an anti-glare one for my Flyer because I'm getting tired of adjusting the angle when working on my tablet.
I was wondering how the stylus works on these anti-glare screen protectors? The one I have on now (simple screen protector) gets scratched easily when using the stylus.
Are these behaving better?
Anti Glare, expensive but from a good company... http://www.boxwave.com/htc-flyer-screen-protectors/htc-flyer-cleartouch-anti-glare/bwpdd/f-ztwp/

I've had this clear screen protector applied since late December. I use the tablet with the Scribe daily, and I have yet to get a single scratch on it.
When I used this anti-glare screen protector, the Scribe never left a scratch either. The Scribe worked fine with it, but since the screen protector was somewhat thicker than a clear one (which seems to be the norm with anti-glare screen protectors in my experience), I did experience some issues with it not always registering and a loss in precision at time. But it wasn't anything that was terribly noticeable most of the time. I Haven't had any problems with the clear GreatSheild in the that department.
Thank you for your answer.
Surely the screen protector I have on right now is of lower quality and I'll have to change is ASAP. I'll just have to decide between a clear or anti-glare one. But since the viewing angle and outside readability are still issues for me, I think I'll go for the anti-glare one.
Hi all,
One thing that has really been frustrating me lately is how easy it is to get fingerprints and oil marks on my Galaxy Note screen. It drives me crazy so much that I have gotten in the habit of bring a cloth with me everywhere I go. I have done some searching off and on this site and have found some that claim to be finger print or oil resistant. But nothing compares to referrals from hand on experience. Anybody out there have this frustration, but was able to solve it with a specific screen protector? Is it realistic to expect little to no oil or fingerprints on some screen protectors out there?
Most of the screen protecors I have used have been garbage. I hate the peel ones becauase some small piece of dust always seems to get trapped under them. The ones where you use water to stick them are pretty cool, but I haven't found any that are amazing. What I'm looking for is a screen protector that isn't a fingerprint magnent, but also one that is easy to install. Any suggestions?

Have you tried note 3 tempered glass screen protector? They are amazing and easy to apply.
I have a tempered glass screen that I haven't put on yet. They sound good, but I'm worried about two things: the screen being a fingerprint and smudge magnet and if a case would be able to go over the phone with a tempered glass screen.
I have one that I haven't used yet because I am worried about a few things:
Will it attract fingerprints and smudges and will a case be able to fit the phone with that particular screen protector?
I can highly recommend the Nillkin 9H tempered screen protector. It costs around ₹800 here in my country (so should be around 12-13 USD/10 EURO) and it is an extreme value for money product. I really love mine.
Finger print magnet? I don't know! All the hard type screen protectors catch finger prints and smudges, I think, but I won't call it to the extent of being a magnet. With any tempered screen protector one thing a person should do, clean it whenever you get a chance.
If you're truly worried about fingerprints you may want to consider buying an oleophobic coating kit. It's a liquid/gel based coating that is fingerprint resistant. It's already applied to phones in the factory by default, but it wears off.
Most cases have no problem with tempered glass screen protectors.
Spigen is really good. I think they also have a fingerprint resistant one.

My screen cracked while I was on holidays despite it having an Ultimate Shield Tempered Glass protector.
Has anyone else had this same experience of their phone screen cracking despite having a protector on? What have you replaced it with? What would be a better choice?
Both of my Nexus' 4 and 5 had one of those military type thin rubbery feel protectors and nothing has ever happened to the glass despite the amount of times both phones had been dropped. I am hesitant in purchasing one of these for the Sony because it eventually ends up with markings and it has some sort of texture (photo attached).
I think that happens if you hit it too hard, no screen protector can fully protect it all, combine a good tempered glass with a good case, like Ringke Fusion by Rearth.
I got the Copter Exoglass Tempered-glass.
