[Q] camera on speed rom vs energy rom - HTC Amaze 4G

Still don't have enough posts to post in dev section, so posting this here.
I was on speed rom for a while (4.0 hybrid) and the camera was taking excellent photos. Now I have switched to energy rom (really beautiful, nrgz says its eye candy and it is) but the camera is not taking good pictures anymore. I searched the thread and found this mod (better camera mod).. it seems somewhat better, still not as good as what I was getting on speed rom. So Eclipse/nrgz any ideas on what I can do to improve the pictures?

Can I find the HD camera mod that eclipse has from his ROM and directly install that apk on my phone? is there any risk in trying something like that? Where would I find that apk file in the rom zip file?
edited: In his ROM changelog, eclipze says "Added HD Camera with 40Fps Video Recording". I see HTCCamera.apk inside the speedrom system/app .. not sure if that is the HD camera mod, will keep looking

I'm pretty sure that the Better Camera Mod is included in SpeedRom, I don't think they're any different.

Thanks quicksh0t. I opened both zip files (speed rom and better camera mod) and the app has the same name, same uncompressed size and the same modified date. So safe to say that they are the same. So I just need to take better pictures
And with this thread, I now should be able to post in developer section

Don't post questions in the dev section. In dev threads maybe but questions should go in the q/a section...

I changed the Camera on Energy because it wasn't taking good photos. Let me find the link for you.

After you flash the mod, its recommended that you remove the CameraTMo.apk (something like that) it will give you a different looking Camera Screen layout.
It will look like this once the CameraTmo.apk is removed

Of course! .. but this question could have been asked in energy rom thread if I could. (and even before, when I had a problem with a ROM, I had to start a thread in general or Q&A instead of the ROM thread ..

Thats what I have done. based on yespinosa's post in nrgz thread. I didnt need to fix any root permissions though.
