So i got NOVA 3 and i let it download (friggin 1.9 gb....) and after it finished downloading, it shows like a brief loading symbol (the spiral thing) and says "checking license" and it repeats, over and over......
I'm running Android Revolution 3.0.0, anyone can any solutions?
Um, I don't think that's allowed here, lol.
this would have been better in the Q&A section...
but besides that, try going into setting/applications and clearing cache for the app and retrying... thats really all i can say because i dont have the app so i dint know if its a common problem.

Ok, I know, not another Netflix post. I know this issue was brought up a couple times in the other Netflix thread, but never got answered so I was thinking maybe we could devote a thread to it. Why can't I click on individual TV episodes? Its like the button to click is missing? Anyone else having these issues? I am running the latest cm7 stable
yes, I am having the same issue... I did notice though, that if you click back, then choose the same tv series, sometimes it will play the next episode (I am also running CM7 stable). Also, now I cannot use the app at all (it worked fine before today)... It says "New version of application is found. You must upgrade to be able to use the application." Then if you click "ok" it takes you to a blank screen and then again back to the error message. Is anyone else having these issues?
I have no issues selecting the individual shows from a TV series.
I click on the series, it opens to give me the overall synopsis and below that lists each individual show for me to choose.
Ok so I have been looking over the forums and I hope I didn't miss it if there is a post already about this so I am going to go ahead and ask away. If it has been posted and I did miss it then I apologize for beating a dead horse.
I have tried the Liquid Gingersense (v1.4, v1.5, and v1.6) and CyanogenMod (v7.1.0-RC1.5.2 and v 7.1.0-RC1.6.1) and have not had any luck. Along with some minor esthetic issues I had with the CyanogenMod, I had noticed that the Gingersense actually disabled my radio and I was unable to make any calls and the signal bars would just show up with an "x" next to it. I rebooted many times and kind of tinkered around and tried other ways of turning it on or playing with LTE on/off to see if that would help in any way and I never did get it enabled.
When I would look at the "Quick Setting" (if I recall the name correctly), the icon for me to enable it was greyed out so clicking on it did nothing at all. Has anyone had this issue? Did I perhaps miss doing something when setting this up? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
You mentioned that you had no signal with Gingersense but not with Cyanogenmod so I'm not sure if this is your case but did you flash the radio suggested for those roms? MR2, GB leak, etc. If not, you can find links in the pinned thread at the top of the Q/A.
Also, remember when switching between roms to wipe data/cache.
No actually I did not try that. So if I do get time to do that do I do the ROM then the radio thing? I do believe I came across a.radio deal and thought " I wonder if I need to install that?" But never tried. I figured it safer to ask and not break my phone than to break it and figure out how to fix it...lol

Ya sounds like you need to flash an Mr2 or higher radio. Check the q&a stickys for links and instructions.

Well I decided to give it another shot. I have GingerSense v1.7 installed and did the MR2 install and it all works perfectly. I have a few apps I need to reinstall and a couple icons to redo but other then that everything looks great and seems to work smooth. Thank you guys for the help. I greatly appreciate it.
Actually the only issue I am having right now is that every...I dont know maybe 5 minutes or so there is an error that pops up that Im not sure how to get rid of. It says...
"The application Google Services Framework (process com.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"
Any ideas or thoughts about this?
Well I think I have discovered the root of this error. I have noticed that when I text and if o click on the Mic to do voice to txt that even though the screen pops up as if it OS going to record, it does absolutely nothing. How to fix it is where I am still stumped though.

Well it seems I have been noticing some weird things that are making me think maybe I should try Gingersense v1.5
At first my camera was working but Im not sure why it isnt now. I cant do pics or video and lastnight when I was trying to Skype with my cousin in CA the video cam didnt work for me. I also have been getting two different errors...
1) The process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
-AND-
2) The application Talk (process com.google.android.talk) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
I also had noticed that it seems to take a bit longer for the phone to boot in comparison to what it used to and especially when it was brand new and not yet rooted. I have a custom static image that says "HTC quietly rooted" and a WWII themed Android boot animation". When I reboot I get a black screen for about 30 seconds then the custom HTC image comes up for about 20-25 seconds then the custom animation plays THEN once that's done I'm booted into my phone.
Is there any kind of way to cut those times down for faster booting? Well I think I will have to keep messing with this and see what I can do...
It seems that many, if not all, of the apps I try to 'update' in the Android market generates an error on the Prime that says 'Application already exists' in the menu bar with an ! icon. This is annoying... I can uninstall / reinstall the app to get an update, but whenever I just click update in the Market, I get this error a lot.
Of course the application already exists! I'm updating it. Stupid Prime.
Does anyone have a fix for this? I searched the forum and didn't see anyone mention this annoying problem.
Are you getting system reboots?
Rumour has it the system reboots are a result of a failure while optimizing apps for ICS during the upgrade process.
Sounds like perhaps your OSs view of your apps is a little messed up...

No. Actually, I seem to have the least amount of problems with the Prime compared to most on the forum. Really, this issue and the weak GPS signal are the only ones I've had. Well, and the decreased wifi bandwidth when streaming bluetooth. But everything else generally runs smooth.
Two apps for example that I had this issue with... updating Google Voice and eTrade. Both of those for sure gave me the error that the app already existed. Uninstalling and reinstalling worked fine to grab the latest version.
Actually, I take that back. Sometimes when I do an uninstall / reinstall, it still says there is an update available.

Unfortunately I have the same issue. I haven't found a good way to work around it yet. As you have found sometimes uninstalling works and sometimes not.
Sometimes uninstalling it, rebooting the Prime, then reinstalling it works. Although, that's still sometimes as far as I can tell.
I've just started getting this issue when trying to update Officesuite Pro, first time it's happened.
Oddly enough when first typing this reply my Prime locked up and rebooted itself, which it's not done before.
Never had a reboot under ICS, at least not yet. But quite frequently have this problem. So I guess there is no correlation between the two.
The only anomalies that I experience are Skype or Talk video calls that suddenly die. No FC or any other message, Skype or Talk just exit.
I bet these types of problems will go away with a root and a custom rom in the future. Wish Asus would release the bootloader unlocking tool already!
Try clearing the dalvik cache?

Can you do that on a non-rooted Prime? I'm just waiting for the official unlock tool to go through that process.
This has happened to me on select apps too. Particularly xe app and officesuite pro. Can't seam to update them to the current version no matter what I do. Unistall/reinstall, clear delvik, and clear market data hasn't worked for me

Unfortunately no
I have the same problem, and i tried everything but it didn't work
Yeah... right now for me, it's Google Voice. And the worst part is, you can't get it to stop saying it's updating the market app even though it stops almost immediately. Annoying.
I get this sometimes, but I press update again and it updates fine

Random reboot is a normal way of life with android. A reboot here or there is nothing to worry about. Most of the time its from a bad app you installed. Now if you rebooting several times a day, then that's a problem. Its actually good to reboot or at least power down n then back on device every once in a while. It'll give device a fresh start on RAM and clear any mishaps that may have or could occur. Same deal with Ipad. They recommend rebooting every now n then for a fresh start and to have more ram available for use.
I haven't had this happen on my Prime, but I was having this same issue today on my Sprint GSII.
Not sure if this is a work around, but it just worked for me. Instead of updating the app from the 'my apps' section of the market, I went to the page in the market with the full app description. I clicked the update link there and it installed fine. I'll have to test this theory out more.
i too am facing similar probs. while updating WhatsApp and Skype too it shows that the application is already existing.
pls. note. both WhatsApp and Skype are under different Accounts
can this cause a prob that previously i would have installed it by 1 account and later on by another account when i changed the phone ?
pls. guide.
I have a silly question, when I upgrade my S2 to ICS 4.0 with many cook roms, i use titan backup to restore asphalt 6. When playing game, I could not play the game because it freeze all times. Anyone faced same problems like me, and any solutions? Sorry for my bad English. Thank you

+1, I installed the updated version from Play store yesterday, no problems. I noticed Riptide kept pausing itself after a few stages though, may 2 in an hours play
I have similar issue on Acer iconia tab a500 with ICS, launch game and get msg says "cannot play video" then after press OK twice just get a black screen.
Originally thought it was just ics update issue with unstable apps on a500 till I got all the rest working.
Have sent email to Gameloft. No reply as yet
well i got the game and it tends to get sloppy after a couple of hours playing but it doesn't freeze or FC
Legit app
Did you get the app from the Play Market or other source?
And what ROM did you use?
Running imnuts Tweaked ROM and pegasus kernel. I have adobe air installed but I cannot get the WatchESPN app to get past the loading page. Is it just me?
The app is crap. I've been able to get one game to stream, that's it.
Funny thing, I was at a club talking to a total stranger and we were talking about a game on ESPN and I said here hold on, the guy saw I was about to open the Watch ESPN app and give it a try and he says "oh don't even bother with that **** app".
Apparently the crapness of this app is well known.
And of course, all I got was the loading screen. I still have it installed with the small hope that it gets fixed someday.
I run stock deodexed
