Best is subjective, what suits one person will not necessarily match someone else. You may as well substitute favorite with best.
It's like shoes, even though we have the same basic feet, how we use them is different, therefore the best shoes for me are not best for you.
Our neo/v are the same, not all silicon chips are the same, even though they may be manufactured the same way so some of us can oc to 1600+ with no issues others will get reboots, they all meet the same average performance, but not the same max or minimum, its also true of tweaks and init scripts for the same reason, as even though the software is the same the hardware capabilities are not.
Btw I'm a boot person......
Most threads with best in the title are just after donations, as the chef clearly doesn't understand the above.

you should've kept that line about best in thread title,it is true and I've seen few guys spamming like that with just modifying few apps and upping a rom and asking for donations.I think that is disgusting

That too couldn't be done mate...bcoz these fellows are part of the mob...and they will get the same thing that others will...best thing would be to give few warnings and then forfeit the membership ...of course this could be done by the moderator only...but this is my suggestion ...I have seen many posts from members with same disgusting attitude.

I suggested when questions like this are asked stop giving any respond to these sort of members.Just hit the report button and ignore these guys & let the moderator take care of them

That would just a waste of moderator time, monitoring every posts. Maybe open a new thread, like krom does in his thread.

Any bad attitude will be post there, and it will stay there until 'apology
accepted'. It will be a good reminder to others too on how to behave in our xda community.

and by creating a new thread for misbehaviour will also help the moderator to keep vigil at one place just by looking those posts and the offenders...this is the best solution if the miscreants have any sense of selfrespect...they themselves will apologize.

Ok, I've had it with some of you. To me, it seems most of you spend your day flaming our dear developers. As soon as they make one little mistake, you rage on them till your heart's content.
Yesterday, nobdyAtall made a little mistake of not including a certain system file in the CWM Recovery.zip and some flamed him for it. So what that some of us (me included) had to flash with SEUS and start all over?
You need to stop flaming the developers and complaining. Unless you donate to them, you aren't entitled to anything. If you dislike the ROM or whatever it may be, then don't use it anymore. We don't care if you dislike it and you don't need to share that piece of irrelevant information with us. They spend their day making sure their ROMs work well, and there are always bugs to encounter, even though a ROM seems flawless.
I know these forums are rarely moderated, and because of this we need to sto posting senseless **** (Even me, I know). The main purpose of a ROM's thread, is to post bugs and general questions, and not just say "omg dis roms greeeeet"

Hello everyone. This is my first time starting a thread on XDA-forums.
While I hate ranting, I am noticing a trend of ROMs being approved by developers in the i777 development forum. While having such approvals assure ROM enthusiasts that the ROM they are downloading is "stable," I believe it causes confusion and tension. Instead of having ROMs be approved by a developer, ROM enthusiasts should flash ROMs they find interest in and report on its stability and so on. What ultimately determines popularity of a ROM is attending to people's needs in a ROM and attentive feedback from developers. I am by no means a developer (yet) but, I just feel this trend is unnecessary. How do you guys feel about this? Am I just being a prissy ***** about this?
What? People are free to flash whatever rom they choose. Even different Developers will try a different developers rom to get a feel for it or to try something new.
I'm pretty sure that's what the roms poll thread is.

Personally I think it clutters the name, but I really don't care enough.
Just flash what you like, ignore what is approved since most of it is just for ****s & giggles.
the approval thing is just for fun, I do not thing anybody is going to try a rom just cuz is approved or not by a developer, unless you are a real noob which in that case you should not be flashing roms without doing some research first. Best thing to do is to try all the roms available in the developer section and stay with the one you like the most.

They don't. If the developers offer it that's all well and great and if you ask in their thread has usually okay too but making a thread is simply not necessary.

I understand it's not entirely necessary. but why not? I just read all the rules and there's absolutely nothing that says anything against this thread. The rules do mention things against what has been said about the guy starting this thread. And rule #10 seems to make starting this thread perfectly ok, right?
You want to help? Then find a thread where you have expertise or desire and post in it. Starting one of these threads is unnecessary and starting two just shows how clueless you are. I won't even comment on the racial undertones of his member name.

Yes, he shouldn't have posted this in a new thread, and certainly not twice. However, XDA is a place for CIVIL discourse.
We can politely point out his error, then report the thread for a Mod and move on. All the junk that follows is nearly as bad as the OP.
Simply ignoring bad posts/threads is a lot easier than flaming the OP then flaming each other.

Ugh. I understand the OP was just trying to be helpful and thats commendable, but its not necessary to make a thread about it. At the very lest, a post can be made in the rom/kernel threads donating his time to help.

I would have reported this thread directly if the report button worked on tapatalk but I really do have to ask how is this allowed? I know one kernel dev has already left the sgs3 xda forums because of stuff like this.
IMO this breaks the following.
1.Total disrespect to all devs and members.
2. Implying its the best kernel.
3. Nazi language and sentiment
4. Displaying male genitalia.
Need I go on?

1st. Setting the op's enthusiasm aside. The statue in that picture happens to be legitimate art. Rooted deep in mythology and history. I suggest you look very close at common Greek sculpture and other historical cultural artwork you will find much the same. If your squeamish about some marble anatomy I might suggest never going to a museum nor symposium where anatomically correct sculpture is displayed.
Google Persius you will find in mythology a better read then Twilight or whatever else passes for "a good book" today.

I'm going to be controversial here, and say....Just ignore it, AndreiiLux loves to get a reaction, loves battering people whose knowledge doesn't match his own.
This has been seen in action recently, where nothing was done about it as it was a personal conflict with another guy.
It appears to me from comments he made a while back that his humanity and soul were sucked from him long ago by the corporate world he inhabits, indeed he now sees this world as the "real world"...........and yes AL, that comment was made based on a statement you made.
All you can do is pray for his soul and feel pity for him
What the hell are you going on about, he uses the term "master race" in reference to the race of the gods "greeks" and all legends born of. Hercules, perseus. It's all done in fun, no need to bring it into a pc issue
For your information. Perseus was the one that cut off madusa's head and destroyed the Titan with it, nothing anti semitic here ; )

Just reinstalled xda premium. Its not there either. It's definitely disappeared as I've used it in the past.

Go to webview then proceed as you would do normally

If you are reading from Tapatalk, then you can report in this way...
Click the post >>> Click More >>> Open via browser.
Then you can report from the browser. Yes there is no report button Tapatalk, I am sure the devs are working on that issue.

The op, signature and avatar is a jab at a lot of things that have been criticized about him. If you go back, you'll find a lot of parallels to what he has criticized before as immaturity and arrogance.
I found it amusing as I personally dislike some of the outrageous claims some immature so - called developers make around here (want an example? "Supercharger" )
I found extremely amusing that someone suggested that he is doing it to get a S4 funded.
