Magiclocker

If you find the stock Android lockscreen somewhat bland or your bored of your custom lockscreen, you might want to take MagicLocker for a spin. The app is available for free in the Android Market. Just search for it

[Q] best launcher ? / Touchwiz launcher ?

What is the best launcher in your opinion ?
I'm not looking for something too fancy, just a good launcher with smooth transitions between homescreens and app drawer..
I'v tried alot of them including :
Hi launcher
ADW ex + free
Go launcher ex
Launcher pro - currently using.
Nemus
Zeem
QQ
and some more...
And another Q's...Is there a GOOD touchwiz launcher that really simulates TW UI ?
Edit : Or the Xperia launcher
Thanks !
I'v tried those:
ADW ex
ADW free
Go launcher ex
Launcher pro
Zeem

Anyone know of a "minimalist" type launcher?
Nova Launcher is the best right now, but it's for ICS.
If you're still on GB, then use ADW EX.

Im currently using Nemus Launcher and i love it. Prettt smooth and the graphics are nice. Its kind of new, but it have all the features that you are going to need. It gets updated regulary, so the devs are still working with it.

You have to open the app drawer then hit then hit the menu button on your device then edit, now you should be able to drag/drop apps from the drawer onto the dock
Sent from my MB860 using XDA
Nope, just "Add page" / "Add folder"
In app drawer select edit from menu and drag the icon u want place on the dock in the dock area or change the number of dock icon from preferences/dock settiings.
Tw launcher is the smoothest for me, but it doesn't have landscape mode and hasn't been uptdated since ages ago so i switched to nemus... it would be great to have the best of both!

If it doesn't let you drag/drop then go into TWlauncher settings and go into Dock and change the icon count to 4, by default its on 1 I think, then restart & save and it should work

Porting of the S-Planner widget for third-party launchers

Hey guys
I've been using the S-Planner widget for a while and found this to be pretty comfortable.
Since I'm on the Nova Launcher I simply can't access it now. Seems as if Samsung has built a limitation in there (?)
So my question to the developers in here is the following :
Is it possible anyhow to port this widget so we can install and use it on third-party launchers like Nova Launcher or the GO! Launcher EX?
PS: If this is the wrong section I'd like to ask a mod to move it anywhere desirable.
Thank y'all in advance

Changing stock Application icon images?

Hope someone has an answer to this.
I want to change the stock images of phone, messaging, contacts, and browser apps, but editing them in Nova Launcher or using Desktop Visualizer aren't working. Does anyone know of a way to change those app images with my own?
Yeah no go in Nova but Apex works great!

If you go into the settings there will be an option to select icon packs. Stock Jellybean is one of them.

Thank you...that's at least better than the touchwiz icons. Even though I still can't change them myself.

I can change them in Apex Launcher which basically uses the same icon changing edit method as Nova Launcher, but Nova changes don't work. App icon image just never changes in Nova. Again..in Apex I can change icon images and everything..all works fine, but not in Nova Launcher.
I've used Nova Launcher on my old galaxy nexus since it came out so yes I know how to change the icons.

Any chance I can do it without using a launcher cause I like the touchwise look
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
You're already using a launcher
touchwizz's one
2 solutions :
- a modded touchwizz launcher
- a third party launcher (nova is the best one for me)
Thanks for the answers and the help guys
