Looking for an App to record voice calls - HTC Amaze 4G

Hi all,
I am looking for an android app that allows recording of voice calls directly from the phone and not via speaker phone.
I have tried many apps on the android market and they did not work on my Amaze with ICS ROM or they only work via speaker phone.
I know that MIUI had such a feature built-in, but, i have not seen it in any ROM's.
does anyone know if a good Android App on ICS HTC Amaze..
Note, i am not interested in the legality of this at this point, simply looking for a working app on HTC Amaze with ICS that records phone calls right from the phone directly.

We don't have one yet. I was just messaging a buddy about that. He hasn't seen one either. I too would be interested in this.

I won't pay more than $2.99 unless it's amazing then maybe $4.99 but $10 screw that. They sell 1000 apps they make $9950 yeah they will be fine without me paying. Do the math before you talk buddy

Tricking TB to think Front Cam is Main Cam

To me this would be a killer mod for TB. Someone (expert) creating a script to that changes front camera to main camera. If you want to use the back camera, simply select secondary camera. I would think we could start using a lot of the apps out there right now with this mod.
A link one of you experts might find interesting on the subject,

Try Tango in the market. I have used it for video chat and it works fine.

Thanks for the support guys! Wireless cam is the main reason I bought the TB. I'm a big e-cig guy and would like to broadcast shows and reviews from remote locations.

This could be done once we get a custom kernel in our hands. Don't know about sooner.
No one has completely confirm it. I was hoping this could be done outside the kernel level.

What would really be nice is a way to link the front cam to a dummy bluetooth, an have it setup to where you press the button on your bluetooth an it takes a picture like a spycam kinda thing. would be awesome at work or just messing with people for fun LOL

I know it's off topic but I had to ask. What model do you primarily use? My main is a Joye eGo with a Super T drip tip. I tried the Ego-T kits, but each atty died within a week of use (i ordered two).
My interest in this mod is not for video calls but for web cam use. Example Droidcam. Wireless web cam.

Any way you could make an app that can replicate what s-beam does on the SIII and note 2? Using android beam to initiate a transfer of files by creating a WiFi direct link to nfc devices that make contact. The EVO has a WiFi direct option but doesn't do anything with it. Maybe you can expand on it?
App for business organization?
Looking for an app for a county-wide chamber of commerce that would allow member and general public to search for members and also offer what nearby to them as they're nearby.

You'd be my hero if you could do this. If you search the market for an app called "The little black book", you'll see a very outdated app that has all kinds of problems because it hasn't been updated in forever. It is the only app on the market that does what it does. If you could create an app similar to the aforementioned app, with similar features and layout, I'd happily pay for it, as would many others, I'm sure. If you need any other info/input, I'd love to help you in any way. Thank you for your time and the generous offer.

Being an Urban Explorer I wanted an app that acts as a toolbox for my explorations. Haven't seen anything Quite like this on the store.
It would be nice to have a main page sorted by exploration locations, and each location tab has the option to add scout photos, voice recordings, a camera based scanner to scan documents, link for maps, journals, etc. I could go into more details... Right now I have to use like 5 different apps or more for this... You could have fun theming it all dark and/or rustic like an abandoned building...

[Q] Replacement for Google Navigation?

So I still can't get Google Nav to work without crashing, and it doesn't appear that Google is going to fix it any time soon. What is a good reliable free replacement?
I've also heard that it works fine on a rooted phone, but I haven't decided if I want to mess with that yet.

TeleNav & Waze are good
Had never heard of Waze.
Looks kinda cool.
Yeah, switched to TeleNav a while back. Works for me until Google decides to fix the current nav app.
Its not google, htc has screwed up jellybean on our phones. The new sense 5 rom has fixed my nav issue. Also ics works perfectly

Being rooted doesn't help. You either have the problem or you don't, and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme our reason. I've been using Waze and like it.

Well if this person is a developer then you should be able to make your own app utilizing the IR Blaster. I'm guessing it will involve you needed the source for the IR, but if this developer is able to use the HTC IR, then maybe the source is either open source or a standard source for IR Blasters. Maybe you can contact them and ask how they accomplished it.

Probably won't be your answer but htc is offering an Api for devs and supposedly released sdk for it ..

I love this app... My local sports bar hates it though...
But the phone already has the app built in why pay 10 bucks for an app that the phone already has built in. I use mine everywhere. It's great whenever I have to stay at hotels because sense tv even tells me what's on.

My TV didn't work with the codes in the default app, nor was it able to "learn" from the remote for whatever reason....the SmartRemote of HTC app on the market for $5 worked perfectly.
No idea why, but that might be one reason some folks might choose not to use the built-in app.

Alternative to Skype

Can someone please recommend an alternative to Skype. I'm fed up with this POS app. Now you can't even use the speaker option during video calls. Or maybe there's some alternative being developed here?
Thanks.

I like Google hangouts personally.
Not the same as Skype but then again not owned by MS.
I stopped beta testing for Skype shortly before ms took it over. Not going back on principle fwiw.
